The corrosion failure analysis for the heating pipeline of apartment was performed. Usually, the heating pipe was layed in the concrete. However, it was known that the corrosion problems could be induced by admixture containing chlorine such as set accelerant. antifreezer and so on. Therefore the new construction method using stone ash instead of concrete was attempt to solve these problems. However water leaking accidents by corrosion occurred after 1 month from the completion of the apartment. In this paper, the reason of corrosion failure was investigated by the field study and laboratory analysis in many aspects.

The wear resistance of electroless Ni-P-X(X A1203, Diamond) composite coating layers was studied by Taber abrasion test technique. The wear resistance of composite coating layers was particularly relied upon the codeposited content, particle size and distribution of particles, and heat treatment of coating layers, as well as the electroless nickel plating bath employed. In this study, we lay emphasis on the wear resistance of electroless composite coating layers containing A1203 particles(1.2~Im, 6.7hIm, 11.5lIm, 20l1m) or diamond particles (1.5jim, 5gm). From the result of composite coating A1203 and diamond particles, the wear resistance of composite coating layers is as follows.

In order to obtain the basic data on the optimum conditions of electroforming process for fabricating the micro wiring pattern for plate type micro- motor core, characteristics of plating bath and properties of deposits were studied with various copper plating baths which contain sulfate, fluoborate, pyrophosphate and cyanide salt, respectively. Cathodic polarization, throwing power, internal stress, texture and surface morphology of deposits were observed. Throwing power of plating solution is deeply related to the polarization curves and the values are in the range of +20∼20%. The order of values ate as follows- pyrophosphate, cyanide, sulfate and fluoborate bath. Internal stresses of deposits are tensile in all of the copper plating bath. Thickness of the deposits plated at the center of holes has the highest value in the pyrophosphate bath and K factor, ratio of height and width of deposit, is 1.44. It was confirmed that the pyrophosphate bath was the best one for the electroforming of wire pattern.
