        한국산 해산식물의 추출물로부터 Aldose Reductase 억제활성의 검색

        We examined MeOH extracts of the marine plants from Korea for their inhibitory activities on rat lens aldose reductase in vitro. Among the MeOH extracts tested, the extracts of Enteromorpha prolifera, Ecklonia cava, Pelvetia siliquosa and Salicornia herbacea exhibited a rat lens aldose reductase inhibition (IC$_{50}$: 3.04, 8.84, 11.42 and 4.99 $\mu$g-ml$^{-1}$, respectively) in vitro.

        가시오갈피 줄기의 물 추출물이 지질대사에 미치는 영향

        The effects of the water extract from the stem bark of Acanthopanax senticosus were evaluated on hyperlipidemic rats induced by lipid rich diet or poloxamer-407. The water extracts, when administered orally for 3 consecutive days in hyperlipidemic rats induced by poloxamer-407 (1 ml of 30%), was found to cause a significant decrease in plasma cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations. The water extracts, when treated orally for 5 consecutive days also showed a significant inhibition of serum total cholesterol and triglyceride level in rats treated with lipid rich diet (15% cholesterol, 1% sodium cholate and 84% com oil). HDL-cholesterol, however, was increased significantly.

      • 중학생의 진로 태도 성숙을 위한 독서치료 프로그램 개발 연구

        이 연구는 독서 활동에 내재되어 있는 치료적 요인을 분석하여 중학생의 진로에 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 알아보고, 독서치료 프로그램을 개발하여 제시함으로써 독서치료 활동의 활용과 방향을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 독서치료 프로그램은 중학생들이 스스로 주도하여 실시할 경우 자아정체감을 확립시켜 줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 결국 진로 태도를 성숙시키는데 도움이 될 것이다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the therapeutic factors inherent in reading activities and explore possibilities of applying them to middle school students’ career decision making process. It also introduces a newly developed bibliotherapy program and demonstrates its application and direction. The program self-directed by the students will not only help them establish their self-identities but also mature their career attitudes.

        실내공간에 나타난 유기적 디자인 표현 특성에 관한 연구

        The nature is the foundation of human life and arts, and human beings have found order and principle amid ceaseless change and harmonization of the nature and diversified patterns and directly or indirectly applied the nature to interior through discovered principles. Interior space to which the organic factors of the nature is an expression of the vitality of the nature and expresses live forms as seen in change, development and growth of living organisms in addition to human feelings. The study aims to recognize the necessity of studies on interior space to which organic expressive characteristics of the nature are applied in uniformed space, suggest expressive characteristics and propose needed basic data required at a time of designing interior space. In this regard, the study has examined works by five contemporary designers including Zaha Hadid, Karim Rashid, Fabio Novembre and Nox with an aim to analyze expressive characteristics of interior design and figure expressive characteristics of organic design found in interior space. According to analyses on preceding literary studies and case studies (14 places), it has been found that organic expressive characteristics in interior space include vision, tactile sensation and auditory sense in terms of sensitivity, immateriality in terms of a property of matter, metaphor and abstraction in terms of the form of natural objects and non-linear curves and free curves in organic design. Organic spaces were characterized by symbolism, directionality, continuity, pattern and superimposition. This conclusion is expected to be useful in subsequent studies on the application of organic expressive characteristic factors at a time of planning interior space in the future.

        눈꽃 동충하초의 약물활성

        Cordyceps is reputed for its broad biological activities and as a tonic for replenishing vital function in Chinese traditional medicines. As an attempt to obtain fundamental data for the development of a new type Cordyceps, the effects of the fruiting bodies of cultivated fungus of Paecilomyces japonica grown on silkworm larvae on hyperglycemia induced by streptozotocin(STZ) and by epinephrine in rats and in mice as well as on immunological functions in mice were investigated. The 70% methanol extract of the fungus, when administered orally at 100 and 300 mg/kg in STZ-induced hyperglycemic rats, caused a significant decrease in blood glucose level 3hr after sample treatments. The methanol extract, when administered p.o. at the same dose levels in epinephrine-induced hyperglycemic mice, also caused a significant decrease in serum glucose levels as well as a significant reversal of the liver glycogen contents suggesting its hypoglycemic activity might be due to glycogen breakdown in the liver. Treatment of normoglycaemic mice with the methanol extract of the fungus exhibited a significant glucose tolerance up to 3hr after oral glucose load(2.0 g/kg). The methanol extract also showed immuno-stimulating activity as measured by carbon clearance in mice and a significant antifatigue effect as measured by weight loaded forced swimming performance in mice.

        Hepatoprotective and Antioxidant Capacities of Paecilomyces japonica and Cordyceps sinensis in Rats with CCl₄-Induced Hepatic Injury

        본 논문은 누에에서 자라는 눈꽃동충하초(Paecilomyces japonica) 자실체와 자연산 동충하초(Cordyceps sinensis)의 간보호효과 및 항산화효과를 연구한 논문이다. 각 동충하초의 70% 에탄올 추출물 모두 DPPH 자유라디칼 소거능을 나타내었으며, 눈꽃동충하초(IC??=163.0㎛ㆍ㎖?¹)가 동충하초(IC??=731.0㎛ㆍ㎖?¹)에 비해 4.5배정도 높은 효능을 나타내었다. 사염화탄소로 유발한 흰쥐의 간손상에서 각 동충하초는 혈청 transaminase를 약하게 감소시켰으며, 300㎛ㆍ㎏?¹의 투여군에서 superoxide dismutase(SOD)와 catalase의 활성을 유의적으로 증가시켰을 뿐만 아니라, thiobarbituric acid(TBA) 반응법으로 측정한 malondialdehyde(MDA)의 양을 유의적으로 감소시켰다. 다른 항산화효소인 glutathione peroxidase(GSH-px)의 활성도 증가시키긴 하였지만, 유의성을 나타내진 않았다. Antioxidant and hepatoprotective activities of the fruiting bodies of Paecilomyces japonica (PJ) grown on silk-worm larvae and of Cordyceps sinensis (CS), a wild form of Cordyceps, were investigated. The 70% ethanol extracts of both fungi, PJ and CS, were found to exhibit free radical scavenging effects on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH). The inhibitory potency of PJ (IC?? = 163 ㎍ㆍ㎖?¹) was approximately 4.5 folds that of CS (IC?? = 731 ㎍ㆍ㎖?¹). They exhibited a moderate decrease in serum transaminase activities elevated by hepatic damage induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl₄)-intoxication in rats. Both fungal extracts also exhibited not only significant increases in hepatic superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase at a dose of 300 ㎍ㆍ㎏?¹ in CCl₄-intoxicated rats, but also a significant decrease in malondialdehyde (MDA) production in a thiobarbituric acid (TBA) reactant assay in rats. Although no significant glutathione peroxidase (GSH-px) activity was detected, SOD and catalase elevations were obtained.

        고등학생의 학업성취감에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the socio-demographic factors that may affect academic achievements of high school students. For this purpose, questionnaires were distributed to 542 students of 6 high schools located in Chungcheongnam-do Province and Daejeon Metropolitan City. Frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted to process the data collected from the subjects. The major outcomes from the analyses could be summed up as follows: First, the comparative analysis of difference in academic achievements according to socio-demographic features showed a statistically significant difference in school grade, religion, health, economic status, timing of smart phone use and hours of using smart phone daily. Second, such factors as health, economic status, timing of smart phone use and hours of using smart phone daily were found to affect academic achievements of the students significantly. Based on the outcomes of the study as above, discussions were made here to find realistic and political intervention measures to increase academic achievements of high school students.

        주요 식용버섯 추출물의 생리활성 효과

        본 연구는 예로부터 식용 및 약용으로 널리 이용되어지는 버섯의 기능성 소재로서의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 버섯추출물의 유효성분 함량(polyphenol, β-glucan)과 저분자 및 고분자 분획물의 항산화 활성, 혈전용해 활성, 면역증강 및 항염증 활성 등을 측정하였다. 그 결과 전체 수율은 식용버섯이 약용버섯보다 높게 나타났으며, β-glucan의 함량은 표고버섯(33.5%)이 가장 높게 나타났다. Polyphenol 함량은 약용버섯인 상황버섯(LMW)이 233.23 ㎎/g로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 애느타리버섯(LMW) 12.18 ㎎/g, 송이버섯(LMW) 11.72 ㎎/g 순으로 확인되었다. 버섯 추출물의 항산화 능력을 측정하기 위한 전자공여능 측정 결과는 ascorbic acid 0.5㎎/mL에서 95.91%의 저해율을 나타낸 것에 비하여 상황버섯(LMW, 10 ㎎/mL)이 80.74%의 억제활성을 나타내었다. SOD 유사활성 측정에서는 대부분의 버섯 추출물에서 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았으며, 아질산염 소거능 측정에서는 pH의 감소에 따라 소거능이 증가하였고, 상황버섯(LMW)이 가장 높은 소거능을 나타내었다. 이처럼 버섯 추출물의 항산화능력 측정에서 phenol성 물질을 많이 함유하고 약용버섯으로 사용되는 상황버섯이 식용버섯(송이버섯, 새송이버섯, 양송이버섯, 느타리버섯, 애느타리버섯, 표고버섯, 팽이버섯)보다 LMW 분획에서 우수한 항산화 능력을 갖는 것을 알수 있었다. 그러나 혈전용해 활성을 측정한 결과에서 대부분의 LMW 분획물들은 혈전용해 활성을 갖지 않았으며, 송이버섯(HMW, 50 ㎎/mL)이 60.4%의 가장 높은 혈전용해 활성을 나타내었다. 또한 RAW 264.7 cell을 이용한 대식세포 활성능(NO 생성)을 측정한 결과 LMW 분획에서는 대식세포 활성능력이 거의 없는 것으로 조사되었으며, 대조군인 LPS 500 ng/mL를 첨가한 상태에서 32.9 μM의 NO를 생성하는 것과 비교하여, 표고버섯(HMW, 500 ㎍/mL) 39.86 μM, 송이버섯 35.17 μM의 NO 생성능을 나타내었다. 또한 약용버섯인 상황버섯(HMW)은 NO 생성능력이 거의 나타나지 않았다. 반면에 RAW 264.7 cell로부터 LPS에 의해 유도된 NO 생성 저해활성을 측정한 결과 상황버섯(LMW) 500 ㎍/mL의 농도에서 NO의 생성을 100% 저해하였고, 새송이버섯(LMW)은 50 ㎍/mL에서 58.14%, 500 ㎍/mL에서 67.79%의 저해활성을 나타내었다. 이상의 결과로부터 phenol 성분을 다량 함유하고 있는 상황버섯(LMW)은 일반적인 식용버섯에 비해 항산화능이 우수함을 알 수 있었으며, 혈전용해능력(송이버섯,Ⅰ)과 면역증강(표고버섯, Ⅶ) 그리고 항염증(새송이버섯, Ⅱ)에서는 식용버섯의 HMW 분획물이 우수한 활성을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다. This study was conducted to investigate the physiological activity of extracts of fresh mushrooms. The components were extracted by hot water; subsequently, the hot-water extract was subjected to 60% ethanol precipitation to yield high-molecular-weight (HMW) and low-molecular-weight (LMW) fractions. Total polyphenol contents, β-glucan contents, electron-donating ability (EDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD)-like activity, nitrite-scavenging activity, fibrinolytic activity, nitric oxide (NO) production, and inhibition of NO production of the mushroom extracts were measured using lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated murine macrophages, RAW 264.7 cells. The extracts of Lentinus edodes (Berk.) Singer and Pleurotus ostreatus (Fr.) Kummer contained the highest levels of β-glucan (33.5% and 25.57%, respectively). Further, the LMW fractions of the Phellinus linteus contained the highest levels of polyphenols (233.23 ㎎/g). The EDA of LMW fractions (10 ㎎/mL) of the Phellinus linteus and Agaricus bisporus were 80.74% and 51.35%, respectively. Further, SOD-like activities of the LMW fractions were high as compared to those of the HMW fractions. Nitrite-scavenging activities of the LMW fractions (pH 1.2; concentration, 10 ㎎/mL) of the Phellinus linteus and Pleurotus ostreatus (Fr.) Kummer were 75.95% and 41.05%, respectively. The fibrinolytic activity of the LMW fractions of all mushrooms showed no enzyme activity by fibrin plate assay. The fibrinolytic activity of the extracts of Tricholoma matsutake was the greatest inhibitory activity at 60.4%. Further study revealed that the mushroom extracts exhibited anti-inflammatory effects on RAW 264.7 cells. The LMW fraction (500 ㎍/mL) of the Phellinus linteus considerably inhibited NO production (100%).
