The technology conflict between the U.S. and China is deepening recently. The U.S.-China battle began as a national security issue but is comprehending as a U.S.’s check for China’s rapid technological advancement. China is rapidly growing in several indexes including R&D expenditure, patent application, and publications, and is challenging the U.S. in 5G and Artificial Intelligence. In 2018, Huawei became the largest 5G network/equipment provider and second largest smart phone manufacturer in the world. Now, Huawei is outperforming at AI chipset manufacturing, Bigdata analysis and cloud, positioning to become a critical player in the 4th industrial revolution. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of recent Huawei issues to Korean SMEs focusing on the relation between Huawei and Korean companies; the cooperation status from the Global Value Chain (GVC) perpsective, and Korean government’s policies related to Huawei’s information security issues will be the three main frames for the analysis. Then, this research proposes policy implications such as increasing Korea’s competitiveness in manufacturing and information security.
베트남의 산업계 에너지 효율화시장 접근 및 진출 방향에 관한 연구

In developing countries, economical and efficient use of energy through rapid economic growth is an important socio-economic issue. The importance of economic feasibility and efficiency of energy has been emphasized as an adaptation technology for developing countries. The term of 'adaptation', which first appeared in evolutionary biology, had been widely used toward energy efficiency technologies. It was not emerged as such an important issue until Climate Change Conference was held at Bali Convention center in 2007. This study aims to scrutinize the support and the direction of energy efficiency policy of developing countries in view of international development cooperation. As one of the fastest growing nations, Vietnam has recently lifted annual economic growth to 6 percent, which makes the Vietnamese government to view and manage some cumbersome issues in energy efficiency and environmental conservation due to the sudden increase of energy usage. Because it is also a representative international cooperation country where various Korean manufacturing companies have already branched out, Korea is increasing the quality and quantity of support for official development assistance (ODA) to Vietnam. The case study and industry stakeholder analysis was conducted as a method to analyze and envision the support and direction of the energy efficiency policy of the Vietnamese industry. We investigated the energy efficiency projects of international organizations in progress or completed, and then examined the current status and limitations of energy specialist agencies and energy conservation companies (ESCO) in Vietnam. As a result of the analysis of the projects and the current situation, it is necessary to implement an investment-linked support policy for improving practical energy efficiency, and a support system for fostering experts and specialists in the field of energy efficiency.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 5년간(2018년~2022년) 강남지역 아파트 실거래가 자료를 이용하여 기존 주택가격 결정요인들이 가격에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 선행연구 자료를 참조하여 강남지역의 신축 아파트에 대한 가격 결정요인 및 선호하는 아파트의 특성 변화를 실증 분석하는 것이다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주택 특성 중에서 최고 층수, 건설사 지명도, 주차 대수, 경과년수는 가격에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤지만, 세대수, 전용 면적, 용적률은 부(-)의 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 환경 특성 중에서 한강 조망이 되는 아파트의 경우 매매가격에 강한 정(+)영향이 있으며 가격 프리미엄이 특성요인 중에서 가장 높게 나왔다. 마지막으로, 거래 특성 중에서 거래 년도는 2018년 이후 2022년 상반기까지 지속적으로 아파트 가격이 상승하였기 때문에 매매가격에 강한 정(+)의 효과로 나타났다. A study analyzed the impact of housing characteristics on apartment prices in the Gangnam districts of Seoul using transaction data from 2018-2022. The study found that certain housing characteristics such as the number of floors, reputation of construction companies, number of parking spaces, and elapsed years had a positive effect on price. On the other hand, factors like the number of households, dedicated area size, and floor area ratio had a negative effect. Apartments with a view of the Han River had the highest price premium among environmental characteristics. Additionally, the transaction year had a strong positive effect on price, indicating a continuous increase in apartment prices during the studied period.

Research on the factors influencing the sale price of industrial complex factories, which play a crucial role in the entire manufacturing industry in Korea, is still incomplete. In this study, we empirically analyzed the characteristics of factories in industrial complexes to determine their impact on the sale price. This empirical analysis is based on data collected from 333 factories in the three main industrial complexes of small and medium enterprises in the metropolitan area: Banwol, Sihwa, and Namdong. The analysis results are as follows. First, in terms of location characteristics, the distance from highway interchanges and the distance from the subway station have a negative (-) the transaction price, while proximity to a main road has a positive effect. Second, concerning the building's characteristics, a larger the land area and total floor area, as well as a more complex main building structure, have a greater positive impact on the transaction price. However, the useful life negatively affects the transaction price because of physical and functional depreciation. Third, it was confirmed that the industry factory's industry affects the transaction price in relation to industry characteristics. Fourth, concerning regional policy characteristics, the designation of a regeneration business district has a positive impact on the transaction price. Therefore, manufacturing companies interested in acquiring factories in industrial complexes should conduct precise calculations of sales prices and make purchase decisions based on a medium- and long-term valuation and analysis of industrial properties and manufacturing companies . This should involve thorough consideration of location, building, industry, buyer, and regional policy characteristics specific to the main industry.
4차 산업혁명시대 지역 중소기업의 제조혁신 한계와 스마트공장 정책 방향성 연구

Through this study, it is aimed to derive the policy direction considering the characteristics of the present Smart Factory, the industrial condition of Pohang area, and the promotion field. Secondly, the questionnaire data of the regional enterprises will prepare for the improvement of the industrial structure and the implications for efficiency, and preparation for regional preparation and industrial changes in preparation for the next generation of production revolution. The construction of Smart Factory in Pohang can be divided into two major directions. First, it is analyzed that smart factory pilot projects are highly needed, focusing on competitive medical precision manufacturing field among the SMEs in the region, primary metal and nonmetal manufacturing industries, and other machinery fields. In addition, local SMEs are willing to introduce smart factories for reasons of quality improvement and cost reduction, and it is confirmed that they will actively promote employee training and expertise if they can upgrade continuously.
