Roadbed of a railway has to absorb the impact of the train and the roadbed of the railway consist of gravel or concrete. In the concrete roadbed, the washing gravel is very important because the clean level of gravel determines the strength of the concrete. so many researchers study the cleaning of the gravel. This paper describe the development of dry cleaning equipment for gravel. First, describe the equipment 3D design and structural analysis. second, describe manufacturing of equipment and performance test. Finally, verify the equipment for gravel dry cleaning.

Roadbed of a railway has to been impacted by a train or the roadbed itself. Generally roadbed of a railway consists of gravel and high-speed train needs a lot of ballast gravel because it absorbs the impact from a train. High-speed railway ballast gravels are required periodic replacement. However, used ballast gravels are divided to the environmental waste. Therefore, the changing progress of ballast gravels generates a lot of environmental waste and needs high cost. For this reason, we develop the waterless gravel cleaning equipment which can reduce the amount of environmental waste and cost. This paper describe the step of waterless gravel cleaning and development of waterless cleaning equipment for gravel.

Following the global air-traffic market growth outlook, urgency of technical development is needed in responding to changes in the international air-traffic management paradigm and to prepare technology securing and spreading strategies, which are consistent with systematic aviation weather service policies and evolution direction. Although air traffic has decreased significantly due to COVID-19, normalcy is expected from 2024, as announced by IATA. According to the future air transportation market outlook and development trends of related technologies, Korea has established and implementing the next-generation air transportation system construction plan(NARAE) to secure international competitiveness and leadership in the future. Therefore, this paper describes the technical, economic background and requirements of numerical model-based aviation weather R&D projects for successful implementation of domestic NARAE plans and providing aviation safety and air traffic service efficiency. Furthermore, we proposed numerical-model-based technology development content, strategies and detailed load-map.

The automatic inspection system is developed for the formed end part of automotive fuel pipe. The developed system has functions of outer diameter and formed end length measurement by LVDT(linear variable differential transformer) together with burr cleaning of automotive fuel pipe. The measured data are managed and controlled in real time by embedded SPC(statistical process control) program. The system is composed of mechanical part, electronic part and developed software system. These three parts operate automatically by mutual communication with each other. The developed system showed good results in finding inferior goods and efficiency improvement of the fuel pipe production line. It also eliminated the unreliable manual inspection processes and improved the confidence of product quality.
날개형상이 프로펠러형 수중믹서의 성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 수치적 연구

In this research, the performance predictions of the submersible mixer were investigated. The variation of the performance characteristics by changing the impeller design parameters were discussed through the flow calculation results by using a commercial program, FLUENT.<br/> The performance of the submersible mixers is related to the velocity diffusion profiles downstream of the impeller and also the required input motor power to mix the fluid. In this study, the various design parameters such as the number of blade, the hub and tip diameters, the impeller blade profiles and revolution speed of the blades were taken for the fixed values. The blade sweep direction, the chord length distribution along with the radius of the blade and the inlet blade angle were changed to make different testing models. The flow calculation results show the effect of the changed design parameters on the performance of the submersible mixers and also give some helpful information for designing more efficient submersible mixers.
