碑文本屬於實用文之類, 但今傳的碑文中, 也有一些作者刻意傾注文學力量的作品, 崔致遠的<四山碑銘>是在韓國碑誌類文中屬於初期作品. 而至今小有關於其文學性的硏究成果,雖是有,但是大部分的論者却忽略致以碑文類的文體上的特徵. 在韓國碑誌類文學的發展過程中<四山碑銘<正屬於胚胎·成熟段階, 本橋先以比爲對象,以文體論的方法試論崔致遠對於碑誌類文的見解,再進一步探索<眞鑑禪師碑銘>(<四山碑銘>中之一)的對文學方面的成就. 崔氏認爲碑文雖屬於實用文之類, 但也可以做爲發揮作者的文學力量的媒體,,故傾注力量於有文學價値的碑文之創作 且以爲碑主的德行能傳於後世者,惟起因於碑文所具有的文學性,因此他加以賦興頗大的意味於具文學作用. 又, 崔氏自己以作碑文相當自豪. 碑文的功能本在於稱頌碑主的德行,但崔氏則鐵底排斥不據於事實而虛假的·套用的頌德, 又, 人爲碑文是記錄個人的生涯的, 所以崔氏把 當做歷史,具考慮到 影響後學,而作碑文時堅持必取据碑主事跡的立場. <眞鑑禪師碑銘>一文, 不但充分反映作者的價値觀以及世界觀, 也可以發現作者堅持'主題意識'而作的, 外, 以修辭方面論之, 作者努力於表達監場感以及有具體性·生動感的形象化, 內容的發展, 不以總括的方式, 仔細描寫身邊雜事以到力於重現碑主的聲容. 這些崔氏的創作態度,可設使碑誌類文學的水準更上一層樓 由以上檢討的結果, 我們可以修訂對<四山碑銘>和碑誌類文已有的一些疏漏的觀念

대화체 문장은 일반 서사문과 달리 고려해야 할 여러 가지 문제를 안고 있는데, 한문 문장 속에 있는 대화체 문장은 특히 더 근본적인 문제를 갖고 있다. 그것은 한문으로 기록한 대화체 문장은 말한 것을 그대로 적은 것이 아니라는 점이다. 한문으로 글쓰기를 하던 당시에는 말과 글이 일치되지 않았기 때문이다. 따라서 한문으로 된 대화체 문장은 이미 한 번 우리말의 漢譯이라는 과정을 거친 것이다. 그것을 다시 우리말로 번역할 때는 원문의 원형에 해당하는 실제 우리말은 어땠을까를 생각해 봐야 한다. 그리고 가능하면 원래 우리말로 했던 그 말투를 되살려 보려는 노력이 필요하다. 그 과정에서 주의를 기울여야 하는 문제로 중요한 것은, 첫째는 대화가 있었던 상황을 얼마나 충실하게 재구성하느냐 하는 것, 둘째는 같은 말이라도 서로 다른 의미로 해석될 수 있을 때 역자가 공감하는 해석을 보다 분명히 전달하기 위해 노력을 기울이는 것, 셋째는 존비법이나 이인칭 대명사 사용이 경우에 맞아야 하는 것은 물론이고, 그 운용에도 역자의 해석이 가미될 수 있다는 것 등이었다. 간찰은 본래 우리말로 말한 것을 한문으로 기록한 것은 아니라는 점에서 대화체 문장과 차이가 있으나, 상대를 두고 얘기한다는 점은 공통점이라 할 수 있는데, 이 때 사용되는 경어 사용의 문제나 생략과 그 보충에 대한 것 등도 검토의 대상이 될 수 있다. 본고에서 검토한 바에 따르면, 한문으로 기록된 대화체 문장의 번역은 번역 이전의 모습을 알아내는 것이 중요하고, 그렇게 하여 해석된 내용은 역자가 책임을 지고 변형이나 오해의 소지 없이 전달하는 것이 바람직하다는 것이다. 그러기 위해서는 문맥을 통한 상황 파악, 말투에 대한 이해, 격에 맞는 존비법의 운용, 구어체에 대한 감각, 그리고 무엇보다도 국어에 대한 조예가 뒤따라야 할 것이다. The conversational sentence has been facing a number of issues unlike the narrative sentence. Especially, the conversational sentence in Chinese has more particular fundamental problems. The conversational sentence recorded in Chinese is not written as what exactly dialogue says. It is because writing and spoken words did not match each other at the time of writing in Chinese. Thus, the conversational sentence in Chinese is already subjected to the process of translating Korean into Chinese. When you translate it back into Korean, you would have to think about the actual meaning of Korean for the prototype of the original. And if it is possible, it is necessary to make an effort to revive the way of talking. What should be seriously considered in this process is the following: the first is to faithfully reconstruct the circumstances of actual conversation. The second is to make sure that the translator should let the reader clearly understand the meanings of the words that it does even when the same words could be taken as different meaning. And the third is to make accurate the usage of the jonbibub(尊卑法) or the second person pronoun in certain situations. And of course, in the translation process, the translator’s interpretation could be added. The ganchal(簡札) differs from conversational sentence in that it does not record Korean into Chinese. However, both the ganchal and conversational sentence have in common talking with the person. Also in this case, the use of honorifics or omitted and supplementary issues can be subject to the review. This paper emphasizes the importance of finding out the original dialogue of the conversation sentence in the case of the translation of the conversational sentence. It is the translators task to transmit the meaning of the translated without the possibility of deformation or misunderstanding. To do so, understanding the situation through the context, understanding of the way it talks, honorific used for dignity, sense of dialogue, and above all, the proficiency in the Korean language must be considered

지리산 누정 관련 기문에 나타난 자연과 인간에 대한 인식

This paper investigated the recognition of human and nature which appeared in literary works related with the pavilions in Jiri-Mountain(지리산) area. Pavilion is a space in the boundary between human life and nature. When an author writes a Gi(記) about this special space, he expands the space in his notion, extends the pavilion in meaning, and talks about nature and the human who live with relationships to the nature. Thus, many Gis of pavilion have, in tradition, been based mainly on discussions. The methods of naming pavilion can be classified into three kinds. The first one is the naming relating to surrounding landscape, the second one is the naming expressing the communion between the nature and human, and the third one is the naming relating to human affairs. Among them, naming based on human affairs takes a large portion. Principal parts of the contents of the literary works also are mostly based on human affairs rather than on nature. In many cases nature takes only a role of link needed for expanding the meaning of the pavilion. Thus, it may be said that the literary works related with the pavilions in Jiri-Mountains area express, on the whole, more concerns with human beings than with natural things. 본고에서는 지리산권에 있는 누정 관련 기문에 나타난 인간과 자연에 대한 인식을 검토하였다. 누정은 인간의 일상과 자연의 경계에 있는 공간이다. 이 특별한 공간에 대해 기문을 지을 때 작자는 그 공간을 관념 속에서 확대하고, 의미상으로 연장하여, 자연을 얘기하고, 그 자연과 관계를 맺고 살아가는 인간에 대해 얘기한다. 그래서 누정기는 전통적으로 의론이 위주가 되는 것이 많았다. 누정의 이름을 짓는 방식은 세 가지로 구분해 볼 수 있다. 하나는 주변 경물과 관련 있는 것, 하나는 자연과 인간의 교감을 표현한 것, 하나는 인사와 관련 있는 것이다. 이 가운데 인사와 관련된 것이 많은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 누정기의 내용도 의미 중심을 자연에 두지 않고 대부분 인사에 두고 있다. 자연은 다만 의미 확장에 필요한 연결고리의 역할에 그치는 경우가 많다. 이렇게 보면 지리산권의 누정 관련 기문에는 전체적으로 자연보다는 인간에 대한 관심이 많이 반영되어 있다고 말할 수 있을 것이다.
