현대 과학기술에 내재된 다중 인격의 강화 가능성과 정보윤리학의 역할

급변하는 과학기술의 발전과 그것에 기반한 문화현상에 대한 탐구는 특정 학문의 주제를 넘어서 인간의 존재론적 토대와 실존의 선험적 조건으로서 간주되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 ‘디지털’이라는 특정한 환경으로부터 배태된 문화현상에 대한 탐구는 기술 공학적 논의를 넘어서 인간성과 그 존재방식에 대한 물음으로 이어질 수밖에 없으며 이 물음은 인문학적 차원에서의 다양한 성찰과 반성, 전망을 고민하게 한다. 하지만 본 연구는 현대의 디지털 기술의 발전이 수반한 학문적 생태계의 변화, 그 안에서 가능한 인문학의 발전 가능성을 타진하기보다는 구체적인 인간 실존의 경험이 디지털 세계 안에서 어떻게 변화하는지를 검토하고자 한다. 나아가 이러한 변화로부터 우리에게 윤리적 태도가 요청될 때 그 근거와 내용을 레비Levy와 메를로퐁티Merleau-ponty이 사상에 기대어 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 일차적으로는 현대 디지털 문명이 야기한 인간의 지각과 수행능력의 변화, 나아가 인간의 경험 방식의 변화를 정체성 문제와 연관하여 검토할 것이다. 또한 디지털 기술이 구현한 가상 세계가 현대인들의 급격한 자기 동일성의 분열과 해체를 이끄는 선험적 조건이 될 지라도 여전히 우리에게는 그것의 조화를 이끌어내려는 윤리적 노력이 필요하다는 것을 다중 인격의 문제를 통해 주장하고자 한다. 그리하여 다중 인격의 존재를 인정하면서도 가상과 실재의 극단적 괴리를 피하는 것이 윤리 본연의 역할일 때 그것의 가능 근거를 철학적으로 밝힘으로써 디지털 문화 인터페이스에서의 정보윤리학의 현대적 의의를 요청하는 것, 이것이 본 연구의 궁극적인 목적이다.

푸코의 니체 활용에 대하여 : 니체의 ‘힘에의 의지’로부터 푸코의 ‘권력/지식의 효과’로

This study will analyze the influence of Foucault received from Nietzsche in terms of “Foucault’s use of Nietzsche” whenever Foucault confronts decisive moment revealing his new faces as a ‘historian of the present’ and ‘philosopher of power’ as well. And the main texts are works considered to be under the direct influence on the re-reading of Foucault's Nietzsche as Archeology of Knowledge (1969), The Order of Discourse (1971), “Society Must be Defended”: Lectures at the Collège de France 1975-1976. (1997), and "Will to knowledge”: Lectures at the Collège de France 1970-1971. (2011), Discipline and Punishment (1975). The History of Sexuality Vol.Ⅰ: Will to Knowledge.(1976). Friedrich Nietzsche, was not a Nietzschean as a literary artist who met Foucault in the series of anti-rationalism at that time, but was with the Western philosopher who led to the confrontation between forces in the formation of knowledge. And it It should be noted that this is subsequently achieved in the system of truth in Foucault’s thought. So It will help us to understand Foucault’s conception of power, which has always dynamically changed within the subject of knowledge, power, and ethics, by adding philosophical pre-history in terms of ‘Foucault’s use of Nietzsche’

미셸 푸코의 윤리적 문제설정에 관한 반-여성주의적 혐의와 그에 대한 논변

본 논문은 성의 역사 2, 3권의 출판 이후 보다 구체화된 미셀 푸코의 자기와의 관계에 관한 윤리학적 문제설정을 그의 1981-1982년의 콜레주 드 프랑스에서의 강의록 ‘주체의 해석학’을 중심으로 독해하고 이를 토대로 주체가 맺는 진실의 문제가 ‘자기 인식’이 아닌 ‘자기 배려’라는 보다 확장된 경험을 통해서 전개된다는 푸코의 주장을 보다 명시적으로 드러내고자 하였다. 이 과정에서 푸코가 채택하는 윤리학적 문제설정이 반-여성주의적이라는 비판 아래 제기된 여성주의적 입장들을 검토하고 이에 대한 방어적인 태도를 견지하면서 푸코의 논의에 대한 변론을 개진할 것이다. 이러한 입장의 취지는 푸코의 윤리적 문제설정의 기획을 보다 생산적으로 독해하기 위함이며, 보다 구체적으로는 실천의 내용과 규범성을 강조하는 기존의 저항과는 달리, 스스로의 변화를 통해 진실과 관계를 맺는 주체의 방식을 통해서 새로운 방식의 저항으로서 이해될 수 있는 궁극적인 차원에서의 여성적 저항의 가능성을 타진하기 위함이다.

철학의 역할, 진실의 모습: 푸코의 자기-배려 논의를 중심으로

본 논문은 지식과 권력의 효과로서 인간의 죽음을 다루었던 미셸 푸코의 중심적 입장과는 달리 푸코의 후기라 구분되는 윤리적 전환, 그 중에서도 고대의 ‘자기 배려’의 논의에 집중함으로써 과연 푸코가 주장하고자 하는 철학의 실용성이 무엇인지 재사유하고 그에 대한 답을 푸코의 후기 논의 속에서 발견하고자 한다. 즉, 푸코의 작업이 권력과 지식의 분석을 통해 근대적 주체를 해체했던 비판의 작업과 이후 전환된 후기 사상에서 자기 배려의 전통을 통해 새로운 주체화 가능성을 타진하는 시학적 작업이라는 두 축을 통해 전개된다고 했을 때 이러한 비판과 시학, 근대적 주체의 거부와 새로운 주체화의 추동이야말로 실존을 중심에 두고 벌어지는 그의 철학적 실용성이라고 보기 때문이다. 그러한 의미에서 본 논의는 근대의 주체 방식에 대항하여 이렇게 사는 것을 ‘더 이상 참을 수 없을 때’ 어떻게 살아야 하는가를 고민하는 이들-지금, 어딘가에서 경계적인 존재자로서의 살고 있는 그 어떤 삶이-그것이 탈북 여성이건, 성적 소수자이건, 환경과 빈곤으로 버려진 자들이건-의 질문을 통해 그의 철학적 실용성을 검토하는 작업, 혹은 그러한 시도로서 이해될 수 있을 것이다.

도시 지속가능성 2.0시대의 스마트 시티 개념의 변화: 디지털 시민성 강화를 중심으로

In our contemporary urban planning, the future of the city actively takes into account the dimensions of interests and effects derived from urban sustainability. In this respect, the purpose of driving the smart city is to achieve order and control of the city through the allocation and circulation of resources according to the algorithm of the code. At this time, if it is the request of the Urban sustainability 1.0 to take environmental and economic objectives, the fairness of society should be newly added to the age of 2.0. However, as cities have different cultures and history, citizens' ability to participate in smart city demand, use, and operation also varies from city to city. The need to create/create a city will be decisively relied upon by citizens who are aware of the implications of the benefits and risks it implies and who have the practical ability to minimize the latter. Therefore, this study understands the mutual relationship between human and non human objects in the living conditions by intervening with humanities and social issues in the discourse of smart city, which seems to be the aggregate of science and technology. And furthermore, it can be called ‘Digital Civility'. I would like to argue for the need to strengthen civil capacity in Smart city.

메타버스 시대, 디지털 공동체의 지향적 가치와 실천의 과제들

This study can be said to be a search for theoretical and practical possibilities to defend our lives in the 'metaverse era' from being easily changed into inappropriate ones due to the environment. The definition of metaverse inevitably causes differences in concept depending on the characteristics of the discipline that defines it. In addition, the level and scope of the discussion must be presented differently depending on whether or not the social influence of the metaverse is taken into account and the intensity. However, at least when the social impact of the metaverse is reviewed focusing on the operating technology of the metaverse, the opportunities and risks of using the technology will be able to be drawn more clearly. In this context, I will explain the possibilities of the opportunities that the metaverse offers, and take a stronger critical position on the elements of risk. And based on this method, I would like to discuss the value we should aim for in the digital community in the metaverse era that will be accelerated in the future. 본 연구는 ‘메타버스’ 시대로서 향후 우리에게 주어질 불가결한 환경적 요소를 배경으로 메타버스 디지털 공동체 구성원들이 삶이 그 환경으로 인해 쉽사리 부적절한 것으로 변화하지 않도록 방어하기 위한 이론적, 실천적 가능성에 대한 모색이라고 할 수 있다. 메타버스의 정의는 그것을 정의하는 학제의 특성에 따라 개념의 차이가 발생할 수밖에 없고, 또 메타버스라는 매체가 끼칠 사회적 영향력의 고려의 유무, 강도에 따라 논의의 수준과 범위가 다르게 제시될수밖에 없다. 하지만 적어도 메타버스의 작동 기술을 중심으로 그 영향력을 검토했을 때, 기술 활용의 기회와 위험적 요소를 보다 선명하게 도출할 수 있을 것이다. 이에 필자는 메타버스가 제공하는 기회의 가능성의 여지를 설명하고 이와 함께 위험의 요소에 대한 비판적 입장을 보다 강하게 취하는 방식을 통해 향후 더욱 가속화될 메타버스 시대의 디지털 공동체에서 우리가 지향해야 할 역량적 가치에 대해 논하고자 한다.
