Objectives This study aimed to identify the differences and the profiles of cognitive deficits in remitted patients with schizophrenia and first-degree relatives of schizophrenic probands. Methods A total of 26 remitted states of schizophrenia patients were included in the study and the same number of unaffected first-degree relatives of schizophrenic probands and healthy controls were matched for age, sex, years of education. Cognitive function of all participants was measured by using the Digit span test, the Continuous performance test, the Rey auditory & visual learning test, the Complex figure test, the Verbal fluency test, the Wisconsin card sorting test and the Finger tapping test. The effects of subsyndromal symptomatology and general intelligence score were controlled. Results Schizophrenia patients' group showed more significant impairment than other groups in verbal memory (learning, immediate recall, delayed recall), visual memory (copy, immediate recall, delayed recall) and cognitive flexibility domains. The family group and the patient group commonly performed significantly worse than healthy controls in working memory and verbal fluency (category) tests. There were no differences in sustained attention, psychomotor performance. Conclusions Our research shows that the deficit in working memory and verbal fluency could be strong candidates of endophenotypic marker in schizophrenia.

These days, Clear aligners occupy an important position in dentistry, and have increased in popularity and in the market share of orthodontic treatment system. Currently, the world's No. 1 company occupies a significant portion of the global clear aligner market, and many latecomers are trying to follow. Serafin clear aligner system, which is one of domestic clear aligner systems pursues comprehensive orthodontic treatment, not just target tooth movement. Here I report two orthodontic treatment cases using Serafin clear aligner system.

전치의 심미치료를 위해 투명교정장치를 사용한 다각적 진료접근법

심미적인 전치부의 모습은 자연스럽고 건강한 미소를 위한 필수요건이며 대인관계의 자신감을 위해서도 중요한 요소이다. 전치부의 총생이=나 전돌이 존재하는 경우 단기간에 해결하기 위해 근관치료 및 과도한 치아삭제가 요구되는 경우가 많다. 하지만 이런 술식은 지속가능한 심미적 결과를 만들기 어렵다. 이런 경우 교정치료가 병행되어야만 수복이 필요한 치아들도 잔존 치질을 최대한 보존할 수 있을 것이다. 중장년층 환자들의 경우 교정 치료의 필요성을 절감하면서도 사회적 시선을 의식하여 브라켓을 이용한 전통적 방식의 교정치료 방법을 주저하는 경우가 많다. 이런 경우 투명교정장치는 좋은 선택지가 될 수 있다. 이에 투명교정만으로 심미적 요구를 해결한 증례와, 투명교정을 동반한 새로운 수복치료를 통해 만족스러운 결과를 얻은 다른 증례를 보고한다. The aesthetic appearance of the incisors is essential for a natural and healthy smile, and it is also an important factor for confidence in interpersonal relationships. If there is crowding or protrusion of the anterior teeth, root canal treatment and excessive tooth removal are often required to resolve it in a short period of time. However, it is difficult to achieve sustainable aesthetic results. In this case, orthodontic treatment will be necessary to preserve the remaining tooth structure as much as possible. Middle-aged and elderly patients are often aware of the need for orthodontic treatment, but they are hesitant to use the traditional orthodontic treatment method using brackets because of the social gaze. In this case, clear aligners can be a good option. So, in this article, a case in which aesthetic needs were resolved with clear aligners alone and another case in which satisfactory results were obtained through restorative treatment following clear aligners application are reported.

Considering that China has experienced steady economic growth and individual incomes have increased, the number of Chinese free independent travellers visiting overseas tourist destinations can also be expected to rise. The Korean tourism market is projected to grow in parallel with the growth in Chinese free independent tourism; Korea needs to keep an eye on the increase in outbound travel by this group of tourists. The purpose of this study is to investigate the values pursued by Chinese free independent travellers who go to Korea for pure tourism purposes, as a research study on Chinese free independent tourism. To this end, the study applied the hard laddering technique, which is a quantified in-depth interview method, to Chinese free independent travellers visiting Korea for pure tourism purposes based on the means-end chain theory in order to understand their cognitive structure (A-C-V structure) in relation to the selective attributes of Korea they perceive, which are their motivation for visiting Korea, and the consequences or benefits of the attributes and the values that they pursue through their travel to Korea.

어린이보호구역 지정 대상시설 위치에 따른 제한속도 준수요인 분석

중앙정부는 어린이보호구역 정비 표준모델을 개발하여 어린이보호구역 지정 및 개선사업 시행 시 가이드라인을 제공하는 등 어린이 보호구역 내에서 어린이 교통사고 예방을 위한 다양한 정책을 추진하고 있다. 그러나 인천광역시 어린이보호구역에서 수집된 2017년도 도시교통정보시스템의 통행속도자료를 분석한 결과 국지도로에서의 제한속도 준수율이 최소 67%까지 낮게 나타났다. 이는 어린이보호구역에서 다양한 주행환경변수와 제한속도 준수 여부와의 관계를 분석할 필요가 있다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도로기능과 어린이보호구역 지정 대상시설 위치에 따라 어린이보호구역을 총 6개 유형으로 정립하였으며, 개별 유형마다 이항로지스틱 회귀모형을 개발하여 다양한 주행환경조건이 운전자의 제한속도 준수 여부에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대해 분석하였다. The central government is working to prevent children’s traffic accidents, such as developing a standard model for the maintenance of school zones. However, as a result of analyzing the travel speed data of the UTIS (Urban Traffic Information System) collected in school zones of Incheon Metropolitan City, the rate of compliance with the speed limit on the local roadways is as low as 67%. This means that it is necessary to analyze the relationship between various driving environment variables and compliance with the speed limit in school zones. Therefore, this study has established six types of school zone according to the road function and the location of the facility designated as the school zone. This study also analyzed the effect of various driving environment conditions on the driver’s compliance with the speed limit by developing a binary logistic regression model for each type.
