Wound-contractable Thermo-responsive Hydrogel for Acceleration of Wound Healing Process

In embryonic wound healing, actin cables are assembled around the edge of the wound, applying contractile force to the center of the wound, makes perfect, scarless regeneration. Inspired by these findings, we developed body temperature shrinkable hydrogel dressing which made of thermo-responsive polymers, poly(NIPAM) and Tetronic 1307. These polymers were modified with tyramine (TA) for in situ enzyme-mediated hydrogel fabrication using HRP and H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> as enzyme and substrate. The gel maintained its stable form under LCST, while shrunk over LCST to generate contractile force which can be applied to wound site. Hydrogel’s thermo-responsive property, mechanical property, cytotoxicity, contractile force and wound contraction ability were characterized. In vitro studies demonstrated the therapeutic potential of hydrogel as advanced wound dressing.

The purpose of this study is to investigate blood lactate and ammonia concentration by sports massage after maximal exercise. Six male students of physical education department in K university were selected as the object of study. The 30 minutes' massage recovery group, the 15 minutes' massage recovery group, the static recovery group and the dynamic recovery group after maximal exercise were measured repeatedly to get results on the change of blood lactate and ammonia concentration by sports massage. The result of this study were as follows: 1. The change of the blood lactate concentration after maximal exercise runs as follows : The 30 minutes' massage recovery group by sports massage gets rid of the blood lactate concentration fastest. 2. The change of the blood ammonia concentration runs as follows : The 30 minutes' massage recovery group, the 15 minutes' massage recovery group, and the dynamic recovery group get rid of the blood concentration faster than the static recovery group. There's no change of the blood ammonia concentration in the 30 minutes' massage recovery group. the 15 minutes' massage recovery group and the dynamic recovery group. In conclusion, as for the change of the blood lactate concentration after maximal exercise, the 30 minutes' massage group gets rid of the blood lactate concentration fastest, which means the blood lactate concentration is changed according to time of the sports massage. And as for the change of the blood ammonia concentration: the 30 minutes' massage recovery group, the 15 minutes' massage recovery group and the dynamic group get rid of the blood ammonia concentration faster than the static recovery group. But there's no change of blood ammonia concentration in the 30 minutes' massage recovery group and the 15 minutes' massage recovery group. It means there's no change of blood ammonia concentration according to time of sports massage. In consequence, for the effective removal of the fatigue, it is necessary that the program of the sports massage recovery and the dynamic recovery must be studied as well as the effective time of sport massage.
