        도시림 방문특성 및 방문의사에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 -대구광역시를 대상으로-

        본 연구는 대구광역시를 대상으로 하여 도시림의 방문특성을 분석하고, 도시림의 양적 수준, 접근성, 관리수준, 도시림의 기능 등이 도시림의 방문의사에 미치는 영향을 구명하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 대구시민을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 실증적 자료를 수집하였으며, 빈도분석, 상관분석, 요인분석, 다중회귀분석 등을 통해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 대구시민들은 1년에 한 번 이상(30.8%)이상 가족(41.4%)이나 친구/동료(39.4%)와 함께 주로 자동차(50.7%)를 이용해 도시림을 방문하며, 체재시간은 2-6시간 정도(52.8%)인 것으로 나타났다. 도시림이 대부분 도시외곽지역에 분포하기 때문에 자동차를 통해 방문하며, 체재시간이 다소 긴 것으로 해석된다. 도시림 방문의사에 영향을 미치는 요인 중 도시림의 기능(건강증진)에 대한 평가값(3.91)이 높게 나타났으며, 전반적으로 도시림이 가지는 물리적·환경적·휴양적 기능에 대해 긍정적으로 평가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 두 변수들 간의 관계에서는 방문의사는 도시림의 관리수준(0.463), 건강증진 기능(0.416), 정서적 안정감(0.414), 도시림의 양적수준(0.407)과 비교적 높은 상관관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 도시림 방문의사에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 분석 결과, 접근성(0.322), 도시림의 관리수준(0.188), 양적 수준(0.124) 순으로 방문의사에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 도시림의 기능에 대한 요인분석 결과 환경적 기능(0.324), 조절적 기능(0.246), 휴양적 기능(0.199)의 순으로 방문의사에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 생활권 내 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 도시림의 확보와 유지관리가 중요함을 확인 할 수 있었으며, 최근 도시 환경문제의 악화와 함께 도시림의 환경적 기능이 도시림 방문의사에 미치는 영향이 크다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 도시민 전체를 대상으로 하여 일반적인 도시림의 방문특성과 방문의사에 미치는 영향요인을 구명하고, 도시림이 가지는 환경적 기능, 휴양적 기능, 조절적 기능을 수요자 측면에서 평가했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한 기존 연구와 달리, 도시림 방문의사를 통해 도시림을 평가했으며, 도시림의 방문의사와 도시림의 양적 수준, 접근성, 관리수준, 도시림의 기능 간의 관계를 구명했다는 점에서 차별성이 있다. This study aimed to analyze the attributes of visits to urban forests in Daegu, and investigate how the intention to visit is influenced by the quantitative level, accessibility, and function of the urban forests. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted among the citizens of Daegu to collect empirical data. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, Pearson’s correlation analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the citizens of Daegu usually visited urban forests by car(50.7%) once a year(30.8%) with family(41.4%) or friends(39.4%). The durations of their visits were between two and six hours(52.8%). Respondents reported that they drove because most urban forests are located on the outskirts of the city, which also explains why the durations of their visits were relatively long. Among the factors that influenced the intention to visit, improving health scored the highest. Respondents thought highly of the physical, environmental, and recreational functions of the urban forests. In the relationship between the two variables, the intention to visit was found to have a relatively strong correlation with the following factors: the management level of the urban forest, the function of improving health, the function of providing emotional stability, and the quantitative level of the urban forests. The analysis of factors that influenced the intention to visit revealed the following variables: accessibility(0.322), the level of urban forest management(0.188), and the quantitative level of the urban forests(0.124). The result of factor analysis on the function of the urban forest showed that intention to visit was influenced by the following variables: environmental function(0.324), regulatory function(0.246), and recreational function(0.199). Findings confirmed the significance of securing and managing urban forests that can be easily accessed from residential districts. Findings also showed that intention to visit the urban forest is greatly influenced by the worsening conditions in the urban environment, and the environmental functions of the urban forests. This study is significant because it identified the general attributes of visits to urban forests, as well as the factors that exerted influence on the intention to visit. It assessed the functions of the urban forest (environmental, recreational, and regulatory) from the perspective of visitors. In addition, this study is distinctive from previous studies because it made an assessment based on visit intention, and clarified the correlation of intention with quantitative level, accessibility, management level, and function.

        춘천시 도시림의 관리실태 및 시민의식 분석

        The research on urban forests in Chuncheon, so far, has mainly conducted in Ponguisan urban forest. Research on other urban forests in Chuncheon was scarce. Accordingly, in this study, the author chose the main urban forests in Chuncheon and tried to find a way of efficient establishment and management of urban forests in Chuncheon by field and questionnaire survey. The research findings, there were several reasons why effective management can not be implemented in the main urban forests in Chuncheon. To solve these problems and make an efficient establishment and management of urban forests in Chuncheon, the first way is to make forest management plans on the urban forest in Chuncheon and expand administrative organization, personnel and budget. Establishment and management of urban forests needs a practical, strengthened overall management system. The second way is to enhance the regional and functional characteristics for urban forest, expand the area of urban forests, and enhance management of Street trees. The third way is to designate Urban Nature Park or Urban Park for the main urban forests in Chuncheon and need to change the ownership of the urban forests by purchasing. The fourth way is to respond to Chuncheon citizen's preference and their way of utilization when create the urban forests in Chuncheon, expand convenience facilities, relaxation facilities as well.

        성인여성의 도시 숲 이용행태에 따른 삶의 만족과 우울의 차이

        & & 본 연구는 성인 여성의 도시 숲 이용행태 분석 및 이용행태에 따른 삶의 만족과 우울의 차이를 확인하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 30대 이상의 성인 여성 324명을 대상으로 하였으며, 도시 숲 이용행태 분석결과, 최근 한 달 동안 도시 숲 이용 빈도는 주 1회, 이용활동 유형은 공간 활용, 이용 시 동행인 유형은 가족이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연령에 따른 도시 숲 이용 빈도의 차이는 유의하지 않았으며, 취업유형 (χ<SUP>2</SUP>=16.949, p<.01)과 현재 함께 거주하는 가족유형(χ<SUP>2</SUP>=20.4476, p<.05)에 따른 도시 숲 이용 빈도 차이는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 도시 숲 이용행태에 따른 삶의 만족과 우울의 차이를 분석한 결과, 도시 숲 이용 빈도에 따라 삶의 만족의 평균 차이는 유의하지 않았으나, 우울의 평균 차이는 유의한 것으로 나타났다(F=3.787, p<.05). 도시 숲 이용활동 유형에 따른 삶의 만족과 우울의 평균 차이는 모두 유의하지 않았으며, 도시 숲 이용시 동행인 유형에 따른 삶의 만족의 평균 차이는 유의한 것으로 나타났으나(F=4.245, p<.05), 우울의 평균 차이는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구결과를 기초로 도시 숲 이용의 의의와 심리적 건강과의 관련성에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다. & & The purpose of this study was to identify difference of satisfaction with life and depression of adult women according to utilization patterns of urban forest. Subjects of this study were 324 adult women of more than 30 ages. As a result of utilization patterns of urban forest, the most frequency was ‘once a week’among utilization frequency of urban forest during the month, ‘space efficiency activity’among utilization activities of urban forest, ‘family’among companion types of utilization of urban forest. And χ<SUP>2</SUP> test of utilization frequency of urban forest during the month according to employment types(χ<SUP>2</SUP>=16.949, p<.01) and family types(χ<SUP>2</SUP>=20.447, p<.05) were identified statistical significance. As a result of satisfaction with life and depression according to utilization patterns of urban forest, First, it means that difference of depression According to utilization frequency of urban forest during the month was identified statistical significance(p<.05). Second, it means that difference of satisfaction with life and depression according to utilization activity of urban forest make no difference statistically. Third, it means that difference of satisfaction with life according to companion types of utilization of urban forest was identified statistical significance(p<.05). Relevance to psychological health and significance of utilization urban forest based on this study were discussed.

        도시숲 조성 및 관리를 위한 도시숲 유형화 및 적용방안

        There are increasing needs about creation and sustainable management of urban forest for environmental conservation and recreational service for citizen. However, it is difficult for local governments to create or manage urban forest in recreational or conservational way. The purpose of this study is to classify the urban forest types by considering its geographical feature, biological and sociological characteristics in order to suggest a guide to local governments about effective creation or management of urban forest. In this study, we extracted common characteristics of the selected five indicators. Factors about urban forest are divided into two groups. Factors were named according to the variables as `Urban Forest Naturalness`, and `High Accessibility and Disturbed by Human.` In addition, we classified urban forests into four types in this study. The type Ⅰ of urban forest is a large forest and has high naturalness such as Mt. Bukhan and Mt. Gwanak. The type Ⅱ is fragmented to large forests by developmental projects. The type Ⅲ is flat and has high accessibility such as forest behind Seonjeongneung. The type Ⅳ is located near residential area such as Mt. Ansan, Mt. Inwang and Mt. Bonghwa. It is possible to set up recreational area for citizens and ecological networks for species by the research of the urban forest type. The results of the study, classification of urban forest types and its application, contribute to provide a guide for local governments to create or manage urban forests effectively.

        도시녹지 내 주요 식물상의 개엽시기 및 잎의 성장 특성 비교

        Global climate change and urban heat island have been the main factors which changed leaf burst timing and leaf growth performance in urban forests, Therefore, the ecosystem in urban forests were modified and the types and composition of wildlives, living in the urban forests, were desperately changed due to the urban heat island. This study was done to identify phenological phenomena appeared in urban forests due to the urban climate change by comparing the morphological changes of leaves due to the change of temperature in Spring. The study focused on nine urban forests distributed in Daegu city, where weekly temperature and the morphological changes of the plants were mainly observed. Urban forests had different temperature depending on where each was located in the urban area. The difference of temperature in forests in and outside the urban area was verified by SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), which divided the urban forests into about three groups; the one located outside the city, another group located in the middle of the city, and the other located close to the outside forests. The forests located in the middle of the city were showing the earlier leaf burst timing and leaf growth performance, while forests, distributed outside the city, were showing relatively late leaf burst timing and leaf performance.

        빅데이터를 활용한 공원 및 도시숲 이용 트렌드분석 및 융합디자인 탄소중립 기술 적용요소 제안

        연구배경 탄소중립 도시 숲은 기후변화 대응 및 도시 환경 개선 전략으로, 온실가스 제로 목표 달성과 다양한 환경적 이점을 제공한다. 그러나 이 분야의 선행연구가 지금까지는 매우 부족한 것이 현실이며, 해당 전략의 효용성 및 실행에 대한 깊이 있는 이해와 연구가 필요하다. 먼저 탄소중립 도시 숲의 이용트렌드를 분석하고 이를 통해 탄소중립 기술과의 융합 디자인 요소를 도출함으로써 탄소중립 도시 숲의 기반을 구축할 수 있는 기초연구가 필요하다. 연구방법 텍스트 기반 연관 키워드 추출을 위해 네이버, 다음, 구글과 같은 텍스트 기반 검색엔진 플랫폼과 트위터, 유튜브와 같은 SNS 및 영상 플랫폼을 대상으로 탄소중립 선언 발표일을 중심점에 두어 2017년 10월 27일부터 2023년 10월 26일까지의 데이터를 분석하였다. 키워드는 '공원'과 '도시 숲'을 중심으로 사용자의 이용행태 다양성 해석에 중점을 두었으며, 분석 모형은 데이터 수집, 정제, 분석을 거쳐 키워드 분석, N-gram 네트워크 분석 등을 수행하였다. 다음으로 도출된 키워드를 4가지 Cluster로 분류하여 탄소중립 융합기술과의 적합성을 고려하여 융합 디자인 요소를 도출하였다. 연구결과 분석 결과를 통해 공원과 도시 숲을 중심으로 자연 및 관광 등 활동, 자연 명소와 지원 및 참여프로그램, 도심 공간에서의 자연 및 문화 체험 및 시설, 도시 자연환경 및 관리를 위한 사업 활동 등, 4가지 클러스터로 분류할 수 있었으며, 이를 중심으로 활용할 수 있는 CCUS기술과 탄소 저감 응용 기술을 매칭하고, 적용 디자인 사례를 함께 제시함으로써 탄소 저감 도시 숲의 융합 디자인 발전 방향을 고찰하였다. 결론 이 연구는 탄소중립 도시 숲의 탄소 저감효과와 이용 편의성을 함께 고려한 기초연구이다. 공원 및 도시 숲 이용자들의 이용 트랜드 분석과 현재 활발하게 개발되고 있는 탄소중립 기술을 접목하여 융합 디자인 적용방안을 제시함으로써 향후 탄소 저감 도시 숲 조성의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Background Carbon-neutral urban forests are strategically vital for responding to climate change and improving urban environments. They help achieve greenhouse gas zero-emission targets and offer various environmental benefits. Despite their importance, the field has seen limited research to date. There is a significant need for in-depth research to understand the efficacy and implementation of strategies that integrate carbon neutrality into urban forestry. An initial step requires analyzing the usage trends of these forests to develop elements of convergence design that incorporate carbon-neutral technologies, thus establishing a foundation for future carbon-neutral urban forests. Method The study employed text-based search engines such as Naver, Daum, and Google, along with social media and video platforms like Twitter and YouTube, to extract related keywords. The analysis period, centered around the announcement dates of carbon neutrality initiatives, spanned from October 27, 2017, to October 26, 2023. The focus was on interpreting the diversity of user behaviors, with particular attention to keywords related to 'parks' and 'urban forests.' The analytical process involved collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data, followed by keyword analysis and N-gram network analysis. The derived keywords were then classified into four clusters, from which elements of convergence design were developed, considering their compatibility with carbon-neutral convergence technologies. Results The analysis successfully identified four distinct clusters centered around parks and urban forests: activities related to nature and tourism; natural attractions with support and participation programs; natural and cultural experiences and facilities in urban spaces; and business activities focused on managing urban natural environments. These clusters were aligned with CCUS technologies and carbon reduction application technologies. Proposing design applications based on these alignments helped delineate potential directions for the development of convergence design in carbon reduction urban forests. Conclusion This foundational study considers both the carbon reduction effects and the usability of carbon-neutral urban forests. By analyzing the usage trends of parks and urban forest users and integrating currently developed carbon-neutral technologies, the study proposes practical methods for applying convergence design. These methods can serve as essential data for the future creation of carbon reduction urban forests, contributing significantly to urban environmental sustainability.

        중국 도시숲 관리체계의 특성 및 시사점

        (Purpose) China is the fastest-paced country in the world for urbanization. At the end of 2018, the urbanization rate reached 59.58%, and the urbanization rate increased nearly six times compared to the beginning of the country. Since reform and opening, green areas have been rapidly reduced along with urban development pressure, which has intensified problems such as urban heat islandation, urban noise and fine dust, and reduced rest areas, and the Chinese government is strengthening its policy. This paper aims to examine the Chinese government s management system for efficiently managing urban forests and derive policy implications as an effective countermeasure to solve urban problems from an institutional perspective. (Design/methodology/approach) To analyze the management system of urban forests in China, first examine the concept of urban forests, understand the institutional basis by examining major laws and regulations related to urban forests, and analyze changes in the management of urban forests linked to government reorganization. (Findings) China clearly defines the concept of urban forests and promotes systematic legislation for the creation, protection, and utilization of urban forests. The management system of urban forests has been changed from a pluralistic distributed management system to a dual intensive management system. It implements an incentive system for the creation and management of urban forests. (Research implications or Originality) Since the spatial scope of various urban green areas is ambiguous and there is a possibility that the management entities may collide, the government-wide efforts should be continued to simplify the management entities for urban forests and to promote efficient policies.

        Urban Forest Monitoring in Korea since 1991: Case Study on Daegu Metropolitan City

        To have better urban forests in future we are focusing on two major issues like other countries. How we could have more urban forest-quantitative approach-against the expanding of urbanization, and how we could produce better urban forest-qualitative approach-to give a chance in contact with better nature for urban people. Prime surveys on urban forests have been carried out in 6 major cities since 1991, and the city of Daegu which is located on the east southern area of Korea have been case studied for qualitative approaches during last 3 years. Major species of the remnant forests were Pinus densiflora, Pinus rigida, Pinus thunbergii and Robinia pseudoacacia. Approximately 20% of the surveyed forests were lost their structure as forests caused by illegal farming, facilities and as the bare ground by excessive visitors. Generally speaking the condition of forests for biotope was very poor in overall. From two years data of monitoring of birds, we found that wooded parkways and woodland squares had more species than street tree areas. Nests were found mainly on the branch of Zelkova serrata, Pinus densiflora and Quercus myrsinaefolia. The size of urban forests mainly determined the species richness of birds. According to the oxygen output and carbon input by photosynthesis measurement, the capability was in order of Platanus occidentalis, Zelkova serrata and Ginko biloba. Air conditioning effects of trees through transpiration measurement was found and the quality of forests also related to the reducing of urban heat-island.

        도시림의 여름 대기온도 저감효과 - 서울시를 대상으로 -

        The main purpose of this study was to estimate a new regression model to explain the relationship between urban forest and air temperature in summer, 2001. This study consists of two parts: correlation coefficient analysis and regression analysis. According to correlation coefficient analysis, thermal infra-red radiations of the major land use categories found significant difference in each category. However there were no significant relationship between the data (thermal infra-red radiation and NDVI) derived from Landsat-7 ETM+ image and air temperature at Automatic Weather Stations(AWSs). After estimating various regression models for summer air temperature, the final models were chosen. The final regression models consisted of two variables such as forest m and traffic facilities area. The regression models explained over 78% of the variability in air temperatures. The regression models with variables of forest area and traffic facilities area showed that the coefficient of the first variable was even more significant than the second one. However, the negative impact of the traffic facilities area was slightly greater than the positive impact of the forest area. Consequently, the effects of forest area and traffic facilities area were apparent to explain summer air temperature in Seoul. Therefore two policies have the most important implications to mitigate the summer air temperature in Seoul: to expand and to conserve the urban forest; and to change the Oafnc facilities'characteristics. The results from this study are expected to be useful not merely in informing the public that urban forest mitigates summer air temperahne, but in urging the necessity of budgets for trees and managing urban forests. It is recommended that field swey of summer air temperature be Performed for the vadidation of the models.         Distribution of Social Wasps in Two Metropolitan Cities (Busan and Daegu) of South Korea

        The objective of this study was to analyze social wasps' urban distribution tendency based on 10 species found in two metropolitan cities (Busan and Daegu) of South Korea. There 10 species included six species (Vespa mandarinia, V. ducalis, V. crabro flavofasciata, Vespula koreensis koreensis, Parapolybia indica, and Polistes snelleni) of forest dwellers that inhabited urban main forests and satellite forests, two species (V. simillima simillima and V. analis parallela) of facultative dwellers that nested at diverse sites of urban areas with greater preference for urban forest, and two species (V. velutina nigrithorax and P. rothneyi koreanus) of urban dwellers that nested at almost all sites, including urban and forest areas. These urban dwellers were found to adapt well to an urban environment based on their far higher rate of urban nesting compared to facultative dwellers. When distribution tendencies of facultative dwellers and urban dwellers in Busan and Daegu were compared, a regular distribution was mostly observed in Busan with a dense forest network. For Daegu that lacked forest connectivity, the greatest distribution of species was found in the nearby urban forest. For Daegu, a city further away from forests, urban dwellers occurred far beyond forest sites compared to Busan with a dense forest network.
