        린 6시그마(Lean Six Sigma)도입을 위한 통합방법론에 관한 연구

        Six Sigma and Lean are the deferent method of management innovation in the approach method. And so it is important to integrate Lean and Six Sigma. In above original text saying, No man know the fact that SAMSUNG run after the Lean and Six Sigma is the Lean Six Sigma. This is the reason that two methods are pursue separately in physic. If two methods integrate chemically the fact that SAMSUNG run after can say Lean Six Sigma. It is a subject of companies how those are integrated. Six Sigma, technique that organized so as to expanse innovation method of quality, is not enough to seek the development, but is knew that Lean can fill a vacancy. By the way, the concept of Lean and Six Sigma never be opposed to each other. However the foreign enterprise induce to put practical use the Lean Six Sigma in company. In future, the enterprise will be induce the lean six sigma so as to does not fall behind. When we construct the lean six sigma, we shall learn an instance of foreign enterprise and need steady efforts for construction of suitable system in our country.

        Lean Six Sigma(LSS) is a business improvement methodology which combines (as the name implies) tools from both Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Lean manufacturing focuses on speed and traditional Six Sigma focuses on quality. By combining the two, the result is better quality faster. Both the Lean and the Six Sigma methodologies have proven over the last twenty years that it is possible to achieve dramatic improvements in cost, quality, and time by focusing on process performance. Therefore, many firms are looking for an approach that allows to combines both methodologies into an integrated system or improvement roadmap. However, the differences between the Six Sigma and Lean are profound. Using Lean Six Sigma for strategic advantage in Business flow. As a Result, Lean Six Sigma System derives the long-term success for the powerful management system. This paper shows that the execution of Lean 6sigma method can be successful only if the management officers' interest and support are back up. And we suggest a guideline that continuous improvement factors and performance Tool are the most necessary factors for the successful cooperation management using LSS

      • TRIZ를 접목시킨 Lean Six Sigma에 관한 연구 A Study on the Application of TRIZ to Lean Six Sigma

        To maximize the operational efficiency of production and operations systems, Six Sigma and Lean Production System have been widely used. The main focus of Six Sigma is reducing variations, whereas that of Lean Production System is eliminating losses. To take advantage of the two approaches Six Sigma and Lean Production System was integrated into Lean Six Sigma, and the integrated approach has been used in recent years. In the implementation of Lean Six Sigma, the problems under consideration have often physical or technical contradictions which are difficult to be solved by conventional methods. To solve such contradictions TRIZ is useful in many cases. In this thesis, it is considered that how TRIZ can be applied to Lean Six Sigma. An integrated road-map of Lean Six Sigma and TRIZ is suggested and some cases are reviewed.

        린과 6시그마 통합방법에 관한 실증연구

        최근 6시그마 활동을 통해 완성된 고품질의 제품과 서비스를 고객이 원하는 때에 더욱 빠르게 전달하고자 하는 노력으로 린(Lean)방식의 활용이 증가하고 있다.6시그마(SixSigma)와 린의 통합 활용은 “린6시그마(LeanSixSigma)”라는 새로운 용어를 만들어 내었으며,각각의 두 방식이 갖는 장점을 결합하여 더 강력한 경영개선 도구로 활용되고 있다.본 연구는 린과 6시그마에 대한 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 린6시그마의 성공요인을 통해 기업에서 실질적으로 린6시그마를 추진하는 리더들을 대상으로 실증적인 연구를 하였다.이를 통하여 린6시그마를 활용하고 있는 기업과 경쟁력 강화를 위하여 새롭게 린6시그마의 활용을 검토하고 있는 기업에 대하여 린6시그마의 효율적이고 성공적인 추진을 위한 올바른 방향을 제시하고자 한다. Recent utilization of the Lean system has seen increased efforts to quickly supply completed high quality products through Six Sigma activity.Six Sigma and Lean have integrated uses and a new term,"Lean Six Sigma,"has been coined.The merits of each method are combined and used as an enhanced management improvement tool.In this research,the primary factor for the success of Lean Six Sigma was deduced based on theoretical considerations and an empirical study was conducted on leaders who practically process Lean Six Sigma.An appropriate direction is suggested for the effective and successful implementation of the strategy for companies that are using Lean Six Sigma to strengthen competitiveness and for other companies that are newly examining the use of Lean Six Sigma.

      • A Study of Lean DFSS through the Creative Value Design

        Six Sigma uses DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology as the process of a solving problem. Enterprises already propelling Six Sigma successfully, such as Motorola, GE and consulting companies, also traditionally propose DMAIC methodology. But, from activating Six Sigma, enterprises and Six Sigma-consulting companies propose Six Sigma methodology matching indirection part of office and R&D part. As an example, DFSS (Design For Six Sigma) is part of R&D application in GE. This study investigates Six Sigma methodology corresponding to the Right Process of the kernel factor. Especially for the optimum design of R&D, the study revises the definition of DFSS and the general organization through Lean DFSS methodology research and analysis.

        This study proposes a method of integrating 6 sigma with lean approach. A case study, carried out in a PCB production line, is examined to compare lean six sigma with 6 sigma. Implementing guidelines are given to achieve the whole company's optimum. This research is intended to provide some information for benchmarking competitors, and how to conduct the quality management innovation. Definition and history of six sigma, statistical measures, organization and training, implementation system and procedures are explained in detail. Six sigma pursues innovation in all areas including product development and customer relationship management targeting the satisfaction of all products and services.

        린 6시그마의 현장 사례 연구

It can help manufacturers to reduce production times and costs, and improve product quality. The road-map of lean six sigma is summarized and a case study is made to demonstrate how to implement the lean six sigma.

        Enhancing Quality across Industries: A Systematic Literature Review on the Impact of Six Sigma

        Purpose: The objective of this study is to conduct a systematic literature review on the impact of Six Sigma in various industries. Design/methodology/approach: A total of 83 articles from respected international journals published between 2015 and 2020 were selected and analyzed. The inclusion criteria ensured that the articles focused on quality improvement using the Six Sigma approach and were published by reputable publishers. Findings: The f indings of the s tudy reveal that manufacturing emerged as the most prevalent sector, with 17 studies dedicated to it. Among the selected articles, case studies were the most employed research method, accounting for 59 studies. Moreover, the study highlights the primary benefits associated with implementing Six Sigma. The most notable benefit is the reduction of defect rates, followed by improvements in efficiency and cost reduction. the primary benefit of Six Sigma is the reduction of defects (52 cases or 42.75%), followed by improvement in efficiency (49 cases or 37.40%), and then cost reduction (26 cases or 19.85%). Research limitations/implications: Based on the results, the study recommends that organizations adopt Six Sigma to enhance the quality of their processes, increase efficiency, and minimize costs. Originality/value: T his recommendation is p articularly relevant f or t he m anufacturing s ector, which s howcased the highest concentration of research studies in the literature.

        개요 : 본 연구는 Six Sigma 활동의 Tool인 Big Y 전개방법을 활용하여 기업의 핵심전략으로부터 과제를 도출하고 린 메뉴팩처링의 초기 활동인 Value Stream Mapping에 적용하여 기업의 핵심전략과 Value Stream Mapping에 포함되는 핵심 지표(Value Stream Mapping의 관심지표)와의 일치성을 확보해야 한다는 타당성을 제시하고, 이 방법론을 린 메뉴팩처링 활동 기업의 사례를 통해 그 효과성을 분석하고 시사점을 찾아 Six Sigma의 Big Y 전개와 린 메뉴팩처링 활동이 통합된 모델을 연구하고자 한다.
