K-MOOC(Korean Massive Open Online Course) 서비스 사용성 평가

현재 IT기술과 대학 강의 콘텐츠를 융합한 MOOC 서비스가 빠르게 확대되고 있다. 많은 학습자들은 MOOC 서비스를 이용하여 다양한 분야의 실용적인 강좌를 학습하거나, 분야별로 단계별 학습 과정을 수강해 체계적인 학습을 할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구는 한국형 MOOC 서비스인 K-MOOC의 인터페이스와 학습 상황 속에서의 인터랙션에 관한 사용성 평가를 통해 개선방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 문헌조사를 통해 MOOC와 K-MOOC의 이해를 돕고, 휴리스틱 평가 방법론과 선행연구를 바탕으로 평가 항목을 구성하여 설문조사와 심층인터뷰를 통해 평가를 진행하였다. 그 결과 인터페이스 측면에서는 주사용자들의 서비스 이용 목적과 플로우를 고려한 서비스 설계와 직관적이고 간결한 시각적 요소 사용 및 배치를 통해 사용성을 증대시킬 필요가 있다는 결과가 나왔다. 학습 상황에서의 인터랙션 측면에서는 교수자-학습자, 학습자-학습자간의 상호작용을 높이기 위해 대화형 커뮤니케이션을 고려한 서비스가 필요하고, 명확하고 정확하게 학습 진행 상황을 확인할 수 있도록 하여 서비스의 신뢰도와 사용자의 만족감을 높여줄 수 있도록 해야 한다는 결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 K-MOOC의 주요 기능에 대한 인터페이스와 인터랙션에 대한 연구를 통해 서비스를 유용하게 사용하는데 도움이 될 것이라는 점에 의의가 있다. 그러나 하나의 사이트에 국한된 평가라는 한계점이 있다. 향후 개선 가이드라인을 적용한 서비스의 시험운영을 실시하고 사용자 대상의 검증 및 평가 통해 가이드라인의 구체화를 위한 노력이 필요할 것으로 보여 진다. MOOC service, which combines IT technology and contents of university lectures, is rapidly expanding. Many learners use MOOC services to learn practical courses in various fields. In addition, they can take a step-by-step learning process in each field, and can systematically learn from the basic stage to the deepening stage. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usability of the interface and interactions in learning situation and to suggest improvement directions for K-MOOC, a Korean MOOC service. Through literature surveys, I helped to understand MOOC and K-MOOC. The evaluation items were constructed based on the heuristic evaluation methodology and previous studies. The evaluation was conducted through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. As a result, it has been suggested that the service should be designed considering the purpose and flow of service use of main users, and the usability should be increased by using and arranging intuitive and concise visual elements. The result of the interaction evaluation of the learning situation was that the service for the interactive communication was necessary. In addition, it should be able to confirm learning progress clearly and accurately, so that service reliability and user satisfaction can be improved. This study is meaningful that it will be useful to use the service effectively by studying the interface and interaction of the main functions of K-MOOC. However, there is a limit to the evaluation that is limited to one site. It will be necessary to carry out the trial operation of the service applying the improvement guidelines in the future and to make efforts to specify the guidelines through the verification and evaluation of the users.

K-MOOC의 이용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

This study intends to study the major factors affecting the intention to use K-MOOC. The purpose of this study is to identify major factors affecting the intention to use K-MOOC using the Unified Technology Adoption Theory (UTAUT). The collected data of 100 university students and workers in the metropolitan area were analyzed using the SPSS 18 and AMOS 18 programs. Structural equations were used to investigate the causal relationship between each variable. As a result of the experiment, it was found that performance expectations, social influence, and facilitation condition factors had a positive (+) effect on the intention to use K-MOOC. It was found to be insignificant as it did not have a positive (+) effect on the intention to use the K-MOOC. This study is expected to be helpful to practitioners in adopting and promoting K-MOOC, and by providing practical implications for activating K-MOOC, the study was conducted to suggest the right direction for establishing policies and systems.

중국 인문 교양과목의 새로운 대안 一 ‘근현대 중국의 지식인들-인간을 묻다’ MOOC 개발 사례를 중심으로

This paper aims to suggest new possibilities for Traditional China liberal arts courses by focusing on the case of the development of the K-MOOC course “Modern and Contemporary Chinese Intellectuals”, which was developed in 2022 as part of the MOOC projects. There are two main categories of research contents. First, this paper describes the course development and operation processes of platforms of XuetangX & K-MOOC, and the current status of Chinese humanities-related courses on both platforms. Second, this paper discusses the development process of the “Modern and Contemporary Chinese Intellectuals” course and the actual use of the course from the developer’s point of view. The study found that the importance of the MOOC platform in terms of improving the efficiency of courses, sharing and spreading knowledge, and the need to develop Traditional China liberal arts courses. In addition, the study was able to prove that the contemplation and exploration of human life, which has been carried out by the humanities, is also possible in ICT-based MOOC courses. 본 논문에서는 2022년 K-MOOC 강좌 ‘근현대 중국의 지식인들-인간을 묻다’의 개발 사례를 중심으로 중국 인문 교양과목의 새로운 가능성을 제시하는 데 그 목적을 둔바, 크게 다음과 같이 두 가지 측면에서 연구를 진행하였다. 첫째, 중국의 최대 온라인 학습 플랫폼인 쉐탕X와 한국 K-MOOC의 플랫폼을 중심으로 각 플랫폼의 강좌 개발 운영 프로세스 및 두 플랫폼에 개설된 중국 인문학 관련 강좌 현황을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 무크 개발자의 관점에서 해당 강좌의 개발 과정과 실제 활용된 사례를 논했다. 본 연구를 통해 수강의 효율성 제고, 지식의 공유와 확산이라는 측면에서 무크 플랫폼의 중요성 및 고전을 텍스트로 삼아 ‘문사철’을 아우르는 인문 교양과목 개발의 필요성을 다시금 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 더불어 지금까지 인문학이 수행해온 인간의 ‘삶’에 대한 사색과 탐구가 ICT 기반의 무크 강좌에서도 충분히 가능하다는 점을 입증할 수 있었다.

The world is now in the era of the ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’. In this new era, the paradigm of education is being transformed into smart education that transcends time and space between teaching and learning. MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), which is an open online education based on web services, is a representative example. Experience and acquirement of culture in addition to the way of education is also evolving from the character center to the utilization of multi symbol including characters and images such as TV, internet, smartphone. So how do we understand the 21st century Korean culture for today’s mobile generation communicating with society through multi-symbol? How do we interpret Korean cultural content in the digital age combined with characters, as well as voice, sound, and especially images? How will you educate the meaning of an image that fills the mobile world that is fast-growing from digital native to mobile native? This study was designed to suggest another methodology of cultural education using K-MOOC. For this purpose, concrete examples of cultural education methodology will be presented for the K-MOOC lecture "Cultural Contents Reading through Image".

MOOCs의 고교 교육 적용 방안

누구에게나 질 높은 강의를 무료로 수강할 기회를 제공하겠다는 MOOCs의 야심이 전통적인 교육방식에 변화를 불러일으키고 있다. 현재 대부분의 MOOCs 강의는 고등교육 수요자를 대상으로 하고 있지만 본 연구에서는 그동안 언급된 MOOCs의 장단점을 분석해서 고등학교에서 효과적으로 MOOCs를 활용할 방안을 탐구하였다. 그 결과, 전공 탐색의 기회와 학생부종합전형 활동자료로 활용하거나, 플립러닝 형태의 수업에서 강의자료로 활용하며 고교학점제의 시행에 따른 학생 선택 과목 확대에 대비하는 방안을 제안한다.

온라인 통번역 교육 콘텐츠 설계와 개발 사례 연구 – 케이무크(K-MOOC) 강좌 개발과 운영을 중심으로

Due to Covid 19, the world has experienced unprecedented changes. The transition from traditional face-to-face education to online education took place naturally. The development and research of various online translation and interpretation (T&I) educational content are urgently needed for education in the future. This paper discusses the development and operation of online educational content in T&I. Furthermore, MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is an online course aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the Web. In Korea, the Korean Massive Open Online Course (K-MOOC) was established in 2015, and by 2022, 1358 courses were being serviced. This paper presents the class design and lecture composition of an online T&I educational content of K-MOOC, the name of which is “The Core of Global Communication, Interpretation and Translation,” and analyzes findings from surveys of students who attended that class; offering insights into the effectiveness of the online educational course in T&I. The results indicate that students were generally satisfied with their online learning experiences and positively evaluated the efficacy of online T&I content. Despite some limitations, this paper points to promising aspects of delivering online T&I content.
