Second-Order Sliding Mode Control of a 3D Overhead Crane with Uncertain System Parameters
Le Anh Tuan,이순걸,김재준,임태균,Luong Cong Nho 한국정밀공학회 2014 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol. No.
This paper proposes a second-order sliding mode controller for a three-dimensional overhead crane in an extremely complicatedoperation with uncertain system parameters. Three actuators composed of trolley-moving, bridge-traveling, and cargo-hoisting forcessimultaneously drive fine outputs comprising bridge motion, trolley translation, cable length, and two payload swing angles. Simulation and experiment are performed to investigate the controller qualities. The proposed controller asymptotically stabilizes andconsistently maintains system response even when some system parameters are extensively varied.
A Novel Congestion Control Algorithm for Large BDP Networks with Wireless Links
( Tuan-anh Le ),( Choong Seon Hong ) 한국정보처리학회 2010 한국정보처리학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.17 No.2
A new TCP protocol can succeed for large bandwidth delay product when it meets network bandwidth utilization efficiency and fair sharing. We introduce a novel congestion control algorithm which employs queueing delay information in order to calculate the amount of congestion window increment in increase phase, and reduces congestion window to optimal estimated bound as packet loss occurs. Combination of such methods guarantees that the proposal utilizes fully network bandwidth, recovers quickly from packet loss in wireless link, and preserves fairness for competing flows mixed short RTT and long RTT. Our simulations show that features of the proposed TCP meet the desired requirements.
Influence of film thickness on the soft magnetic properties of sputtered Co-Fe-Hf-O films
Le, Anh-Tuan,Ha, Nguyen Duy,Phan, Manh-Huong,Lee, Kwang-Eun,Kim, Chong-Oh,Lee, Heebok,Yu, Seong-Cho WILEY-VCH Verlag 2007 Physica Status Solidi C Vol.4 No.12
<P>Influence of film thickness on the soft magnetic properties of Co19.35Fe53.28Hf7.92O19.35 films, which were deposited on Si(100) substrates using the oxygen reactive RF-sputtering method, has been thoroughly investigated. It is found that as the film thickness (t) increases from 50 to 430 nm, the easy-axis coercivity (HCE) strongly decreases from 26.2 to 1.5 Oe, while the hard-axis anisotropy field (HKH) significantly increases from 68.7 to 84.8 Oe and the saturation magnetization (4πMs) tends to increase from 16.8 to 19.7 kG. As t exceeds 430 nm, HKH gradually decreases, while both HCE and 4πMs remain almost unchanged. It reveals that a strong phase separation appears to occur in films with t > 430 nm, resulting in the decrease of HKH. (© 2008 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)</P>
Performance of a Coherent QPSK System with an Adaptive Antenna Array at Base Station
Le Minh-Tuan,Pham Van-Su,Yoon Gi-Wan The Korea Institute of Information and Commucation 2006 Journal of information and communication convergen Vol.4 No.1
In this paper, we present a method to evaluate the BER performance of a coherent QPSK system using an adaptive array to eliminate CCI and demonstrate closed-form expressions for obtaining exact BER of the desired user for the case in which the time delays of all users are equal. The theoretical results are verified by computer simulation under the assumption that Least Mean Square beamforming algorithm is employed.
