<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this study, transparent thin films for coating material are synthesized by adding bulky CF<SUB>3</SUB> and hydroxyl groups intro into poly(amide-imide)s. As expected, these poly(amide-imide)s show higher shear adhesion and higher glass transition temperatures than the neat poly(amide-imide) due to hydrogen bonding of the hydroxyl groups. In addition, the modification to the poly(amide-imide) structure leads to only slight decreases in transmittance and yellow index.</P> <P>Consequently, the successful synthesis of poly(amide-imide)s with wide applications as transparent coating materials due to their optical properties and high adhesion is demonstrated. Transparent flexible display and coating products can be manufactured with poly(amide-imide)s having high reliability and a low chance of cracking due to their favorable thermal properties.</P>

무인기를 위한 자율 시스템은 임무 목표, 임무 상황, 무인기의 상태를 기반으로, 목표 달성을 위해 현재 수행할 행동을 결정하는 의사결정 능력을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 지형 충돌 위험이 있는 저고도 운용, 방문 순서를 변경하지 않아야 하는 항로점 집합, 임무 대상 객체의 위치 불확실성 등 현실적인 제약조건 하에서 감시정찰 임무를 자율적으로 수행할 수 있는 의사결정 시스템과 이러한 특성을 효과적으로 표현할 수 있는 임무 정의를 제시한다. 제안한 의사결정 시스템을 Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation 환경에서 현실적인 임무 상황을 반영한 3종의 시나리오를 통해 검증한다. 무인기의 비행 경로와 임무 상황에서 의사결정 시스템이 선택한 행동을 시뮬레이션 결과로 제시하고, 그 결과를 논의한다. Autonomous system for UAVs has a capability to decide an appropriate current action to achieve the goal based on the ultimate mission goal, context of mission, and the current state of the UAV. We propose a decision-making system that has an ability to operate ISR mission autonomously under the realistic limitation such as low altitude operation with high risk of terrain collision, a set of way points without change of visit sequence not allowed, and position uncertainties of the objects for the mission. The proposed decision-making system is loaded to a Hardware-In-the-loop Simulation environment, then tested and verified using three representative scenarios with a realistic mission environment. The flight trajectories of the UAV and selected actions via the proposed decision-making system are presented as the simulation results with discussion.

Background: Ingredients of cosmetics are able to pass in variable amount across the skin and generate adverse effects at given level of systemic exposure. Recently, cosmetic products are widely used even in adolescents and babies and the type and prevalence of cosmetic products for men are increasing prominently. Objectives: A database was created with person-oriented information regarding demographics of consumers and usage patterns for 72 kinds of cosmetics. Methods: We analyzed data from the online survey carried out 5 cities and 18,000 adults and adolescents comprising 908 males and 892 females ranged from 15 to 59 years completed the digital questionnaire. Results: - The average number of the cosmetic products which the participants use was 27.4 in women and 13.3 in men. The most commonly used products in men were shampoo, facial moisturizer and body cleanser. The use of base makeup and color makeup products of male respondents (21.7% and 32.3%, respectively) was reported to be quite higher than that of the past survey in other countries (0.5%). The average number of cosmetics for babies is 0.2 and the most commonly used products are lotion, shampoo and body cleanser. The teenagers use the average 24.1 cosmetic products and the commonly used ones in order are shampoo, lotion and hand cream. <P>Heteroleptic tris-cyclometalated Ir(III) complexes supported by the o-carboranyl-phosphine ligand (CBP), (C boolean AND N)(2)Ir(CBP) (C boolean AND N = ppy (1), dfppy (2)), have been synthesized and characterized. The PL spectra of 1 and 2 displayed substantially blue shifted phosphorescence relative to the corresponding Ir(C boolean AND N)(3) complexes. Electrochemical and theoretical studies showed that the CBP ligand functioned as a strong-field ancillary ligand, and the greater HOMO stabilization in comparison to that of the LUMO by the CBP ligand was responsible for the increase in band gap, leading to a large blue shift in phosphorescence.</P>
Development of underwater 3D shape measurement system with improved radiation tolerance

When performing remote tasks using robots in nuclear power plants, a 3D shape measurement system is advantageous in improving the efficiency of remote operations by easily identifying the current state of the target object for example, size, shape, and distance information. Nuclear power plants have high-radiation and underwater environments therefore the electronic parts that comprise 3D shape measurement systems are prone to degradation and thus cannot be used for a long period of time. Also, given the refraction caused by a medium change in the underwater environment, optical design constraints and calibration methods for them are required. The present study proposed a method for developing an underwater 3D shape measurement system with improved radiation tolerance, which is composed of commercial electric parts and a stereo camera while being capable of easily and readily correcting underwater refraction. In an effort to improve its radiation tolerance, the number of parts that are exposed to a radiation environment was minimized to include only necessary components, such as a line beam laser, a motor to rotate the line beam laser, and a stereo camera. Given that a signal processing circuit and control circuit of the camera is susceptible to radiation, an image sensor and lens of the camera were separated from its main body to improve radiation tolerance. The prototype developed in the present study was made of commercial electric parts, and thus it was possible to improve the overall radiation tolerance at a relatively low cost. Also, it was easy to manufacture because there are few constraints for optical design.
