Purpose: The aim of this study is to assess the accuracy of alignment determined by patientspecific instrumentation system in total knee arthroplasty (TKA).Materials and Methods: Twentyseven TKAs using patientspecific instrument were reviewed. The intraoperative pin location determined by the patientspecific guide was recorded using imageless navigation software. Data recorded included tibial coronal alignment and posterior slope, femoral coronal alignment and sagittal alignment, and transepicondylar axis. A discrepancy within ±3° in each plane was considered an acceptable result. Results: On the tibia, an acceptable alignment was obtained in 24 (88.1%) in the coronal plane and 21 (77.8%) in the sagittal plane. On the femur, a satisfactory alignment was obtained in 25 (92.6%) in the coronal plane and 24 (88.1%) in the sagittal plane. Based on the transepicondylar axis, a satisfactory alignment was obtained in 23 (85.1%).Conclusions: Satisfactory alignment was obtained in more than 85% of each plane of the femur and in the coronal plane of the tibia and relative to the transepicondylar axis. Sufficeint experience and precise preoperative planning are required to improve the accuracy of sagittal alignment of the tibia.
ATC/ATO 운영환경에서의 무인운전(DTO/UTO)방식 도입을 위한 열차운행 시스템에 대한 기술적 고려사항 연구

도시철도에 대한 사회적 필요성 증가와 신속·정확한 이동을 요구하는 고객의 니즈를 충족하고, 경제적이면서 보안 및 안전성이 강화된 도시철도 운영이 절실히 요구되는 현실에 직면하고 있다. 현재 서울도시철도는 저렴한 투자비용과 효율적인 운영을 위하여 8호선 완전자동운전 시험을 통해 ATC/ATO 운영환경에서 새로운 열차 운행 및 통제를 위한 개선방안을 연구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ATC/ATO 시스템에서 무인운전(UTO/DTO)운영에 대한 최적의 운영과 활용방안을 열차운행 차상/지상 시스템 관점에서 고찰하고자 한다. The urban transit railway is facing the challenge to increase the social demand for metro, to satisfy the rapid and punctual movement, and to operate economically enhanced security and safety train. This paper discusses upgrading new train control system with ATC/ATO for low costs and effective operations in Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit through Driverless train operation test in the Seoul 8 line. This paper also presents the best operability and availability of driverless operation(UTO/DTO) with ATC/ATO in view of onboard and wayside systems.
