Recently, a major trend is going to redesign a production system by controlling or making variable the production rate within some fixed interval to maintain the optimal level. This strategy is more effective when the holding cost is time-dependent as it is interrelated with holding duration of products and rate of production. An effort is made to make a supply chain model (SCM) to show the joint effect of variable production rate and time-varying holding cost for specific type of complementary products, where those products are made by two different manufacturers and a common retailer makes them bundle and sells bundles to end customers. Demand of each product is specified by stochastic reservation prices with a known potential market size. Those players of the SCM are considered with unequal power. Stackelberg game approach is employed to obtain global optimum solution of the model. An illustrative numerical example, graphical representation, and managerial insights are given to illustrate the model. Results prove that variable production rate and time-dependent holding cost save more than existing literature.

LSB-based steganography is a simple and well known information hiding technique. In most LSB based techniques, a secret message is embedded into a specific position of LSB in the cover pixels. On the other hand, the main threat of LSB-based steganography is steganalysis. This paper proposes an asynchronous-cellular-automata(ACA)-based steganographic method, where secret bits are embedded into the selected position inside the cover pixel by ACA rule 51 and a secret key. As a result, it is very difficult for malicious users to retrieve a secret message from a cover image without knowing the secret key, even if the extraction algorithm is known. In addition, another layer of security is provided by almost random (rule-based) selection of a cover pixel for embedding using ACA and a different secret key. Finally, the experimental results show that the proposed method can be secured against the well-known steganalysis RS-attack.

English Bazar municipality serves quality educational, health, marketing, recreational, administrative, and other urban facilities to the people of urban areas as well as rural areas of its surrounding. Over the last few decades, the study area experiences rapid population growth and positive economic changes. As a result, on a daily basis a huge quantity of goods and population flow within and outside the municipality. It creates high transportation demand for accessing the urban facilities. The roads and railway line radiate from the centre of the municipality towards the villages of this block and other adjacent blocks of the district. The aim of this paper is to analyze the road connectivity and network accessibility of the study villages using graph theory. Moreover, connectivity index, shimbel index, associated number, and average shortest path length have also been used for categorically understanding the magnitude of network accessibility. The result shows regional imbalances in terms of connectivity and network accessibility. Villages are located in the central position and adjacent to the English Bazar municipality (EBM) are most accessible. However, the distant villages which are far from the EBM having poor accessibility and poor road network efficiency. Therefore it would suggest that there is a need to improve the connectivity and accessibility of those distant villages for future growth and development of the study region.
Maximizing Profit of Supply Chain with Complementary Products using Game Theory

This paper describes about two-echelon supply chain model with two manufacturers and one common retailer. Two types of complementary products are produced by two manufacturers and the common retailer buys products separately using reservation prices and bundles them for sale. The demand of manufacturers and retailer are assumed as stochastic in nature. The profit of two manufacturers and retailer are maximized by using Stackelberg game policy. By applying game theoretical approach, several analytical solutions are obtained. An illustrative numerical example is derived and some managerial insights are given to illustrate the model.

The LIM domain-containing proteins are dominantly found in plants and play a significant role in various biological processes such as gene transcription as well as actin cytoskeletal organization. Nevertheless, genome-wide identification as well as functional analysis of the LIM gene family have not yet been reported in the economically important plant sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.). Therefore, we conducted an in silico identification and characterization of LIM genes in S. bicolor genome using integrated bioinformatics approaches. Based on phylogenetic tree analysis and conserved domain, we identified five LIM genes in S. bicolor (SbLIM) genome corresponding to Arabidopsis LIM (AtLIM) genes. The conserved domain, motif as well as gene structure analyses of the SbLIM gene family showed the similarity within the SbLIM and AtLIM members. The gene ontology (GO) enrichment study revealed that the candidate LIM genes are directly involved in cytoskeletal organization and various other important biological as well as molecular pathways. Some important families of regulating transcription factors such as ERF, MYB, WRKY, NAC, bZIP, C2H2, Dof, and G2-like were detected by analyzing their interaction network with identified SbLIM genes. The cis-acting regulatory elements related to predicted SbLIM genes were identified as responsive to light, hormones, stress, and other functions. The present study will provide valuable useful information about LIM genes in sorghum which would pave the way for the future study of functional pathways of candidate SbLIM genes as well as their regulatory factors in wet-lab experiments.
