We report the impact of high work-function (Φ<SUB>M</SUB>) metal gate and high-κ dielectrics on memory properties of NAND-type charge trap Flash (CTF) memory devices. In this paper, theoretical and experimental studies show that high Φ<SUB>M</SUB> gate and high permittivity (high-κ) dielectrics play a key role in eliminating electron back tunneling though the blocking dielectric during the erase operation. Techniques to improve erase efficiency of CTF memory devices with a fixed metal gate by employing various chemicals and structures are introduced and those mechanisms are discussed. Though process optimization of high Φ<SUB>M</SUB> gate and high-κ materials, enhanced CTF device characteristics such as high speed, large memory window, and good reliability characteristics of the CTF devices are obtained.

게임 산업에서 Vista 출시가 의미하는 보안 환경의 변화와 위험요소에 대해 설명을 하고 어떤 위험이 존재하고 있는지 인지하는 것이 필요하다. 현재의 게임 산업이 처한 보안상의 위험요소들을 먼저 확인을 하며 Vista로 인해 달라지는 보안상의 위험요소에 대해 명시하도록 한다. Vista에서 강화된 보안기능으로는 ActiveX의 실행제한과 UAC(User Access Control) 기능을 들 수 있는데 온라인 게임에 미치는 영향과 보안상의 이슈에 대해서 관계를 확인하여 보고 향후 방향에 대해 조망한다.

Antioxidant has known to effectively remove reactive oxygen species (ROS) which are regarded as a source of many types of diseases. In modern diets, the use of royal jelly (RJ) has more increased because of the trend toward the use of functional foods and dietary supplements. We investigated antioxidant effect of Korean royal jelly in oxidative stress induced HepG2 cell. The antioxidant activity was evaluated by means of DPPH free radical scavenging, thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS) products, and superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase activity assays. HepG2 cells treated with RJ at 100, 200, 500?g/ml significantly increased the DPPH scavenging activity in a dose-dependent manner. Also, the RJ significantly reduced the TBARS levels and increased the SOD activity compared to those of the control group. These results suggest that Korean RJ could be antioxidant functional food with high free radical scavenging activity and antioxidant capacity.
Secret Key Agreement With Large Antenna Arrays Under the Pilot Contamination Attack

<P>We present a secret key agreement (SKA) protocol for a multi-user time-division duplex system where a base-station (BS) with a large antenna array (LAA) shares secret keys with users in the presence of non-colluding eavesdroppers. In the system, when the BS transmits random sequences to legitimate users for sharing common randomness, the eavesdroppers can attempt the pilot contamination attack (PCA) in which each of eavesdroppers transmits its target user's training sequence in hopes of acquiring possible information leak by steering beam towards the eavesdropper. We show that there exists a crucial complementary relation between the received signal strengths at the eavesdropper and its target user. This relation tells us that the eavesdropper inevitably leaves a trace that enables us to devise a way of measuring the amount of information leakage to the eavesdropper even if PCA parameters are unknown. To this end, we derive an estimator for the channel gain from the BS to the eavesdropper and propose a rate-adaptation scheme for adjusting the length of secret key under the PCA. Extensive analysis and evaluations are carried out under various setups, which show that the proposed scheme adequately takes advantage of the LAA to establish the secret keys under the PCA.</P>
The Meanings and Prospects of Primo Vascular System from the Viewpoint of Historical Context

<P>The aim of this overview is to evaluate the primo vascular system research in the context of the history of meridian theory and the modern meanings of it. The 12 meridian systems were naturally presupposed in the conventional study of the meridians and acupuncture. But the excavations of Mawang-tui old documents and Sichuan Mianyang wooden puppet revealed the primordial concepts of meridians uncolored by the numerological cosmology of Han era. Further, the meridian map of horse, cow and hawk show another resemblance to the primordial type of meridians. Modern meridian theory has been challenged by the material based scientific theory and the primo vascular theory presents the most radical answer for it. It aims to reveal the anatomical entity of meridians. However, the study of primo vascular system is unexpectedly opening the new horizon of scientific integration of East and West beyond the mere searching for anatomical entity of meridians. Conclusions we have drawn from the historical reviews are, (1) the surface structure of the body reflects the physiopathological changes of inside the body, (2) by stimulating specific sites on the surface, it is possible to acquire therapeutic effects of certain symptoms, and (3) numbers and locations of meridian acupoints are variable among traditional meridian theories. </P>
