        A high precision direct integration scheme for non-stationary random seismic responses of non-classically damped structures

        For non-classically damped structures subjected to evolutionary random seismic excitations, the non-stationary random responses are computed by means of a high precision direct (HPD) integration scheme combined with the pseudo excitation method. Only real modes are used, so that the reduced equations of motion remain coupled for such non-classically damped structures. In the given examples, the efficiency of this method is compared with that of the Newmark method.

        Genome‑wide identification of GMP genes in Rosaceae and functional characterization of FaGMP4 in strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa)

        Background GDP-D-mannose pyrophosphorylase (GMP) is one of the key enzymes determining ascorbic acid (AsA) biosynthesis. However, little information about GMP genes is currently available for the Rosaceae species, especially in the AsA-riched cultivated octoploid strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa). Objective To identify the all the GMP genes in Rosaceae, as well as the predominant homologues and the role of GMP genes in strawberry AsA accumulation. Methods In the present study, we performed genome-wide identifcation and comprehensive analysis of the duplicated GMP genes in strawberry and other Rosaceae species by bioinformatics methods, the expression of the GMP genes from cultivated strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa, FaGMP) was specifcally analyzed by qPCR. Finally, the FaGMP4 was transiently overexpressed in strawberry to estimate the role of GMP in regulating AsA accumulation in strawberry. Results As results, a total of 28 GMP genes were identifed in the fve Rosaceae species. The origins of duplication events analysis suggested that most GMP duplications in Rosaceae species were generated from whole genome duplication (WGD). The Ka/Ks ratio suggested that FaGMP genes underwent a stabilization selection. qPCR based expression analysis showed diferent patterns of FaGMP paralogs during fruit ripening, while FaGMP4 expressed higher in the variety containing higher AsA. Overexpression of FaGMP4 in strawberry signifcantly enhanced AsA accumulation. Furthermore, the expression of FaGMP4 under the treatment of blue and red light was largely increased in leaves while signifcantly inhibited in fruit. These results revealed the vital role of FaGMP4 in regulating AsA in strawberry.

        Random loading identification of multi-input-multi-output structure

        Random loading identification has long been a difficult problem for Multi-Input-Multi-Output (MIMO) structure. In this paper, the Pseudo Excitation Method (PEM), which is an exact and efficient method for computing the structural random response, is extended inversely to identify the excitation power spectral densities (PSD). This identified method, named the Inverse Pseudo Excitation Method (IPEM), resembles the general dynamic loading identification in the frequency domain, and can be used to identify the definite or random excitations of complex structures in a similar way. Numerical simulations are used to reveal the the difficulties in such problems, and the results of some numerical analysis are discussed, which may be very useful in the setting up and processing of experimental data so as to obtain reasonable predictions of the input loading from the selected structural responses.

        Research of Building Load Optimal Scheduling Based on Multi-objective Estimation of Distributed Algorithm

        In the centralized scheduling of multi-residents, the complexity of scheduling time will be greatly increased as the number of resident increases. In order to reduce the time complexity caused by centralized scheduling, a probability model based on the Time-of-use electricity tariff diff erence is proposed and applied to distributed estimation of the algorithm. According to the impact factor mechanism of the probability model of Time-of-use electricity tariff diff erence, not only the time complexity of centralized scheduling is reduced, but also the optimization of the algorithm will not fall into a local optimal situation. In the centralized scheduling model of building residents, the controllable load of residents and new energy are centralized. The consumption rate of new energy was improved by changing the new energy power supply mechanism. Under the conditions of ensuring the comfort of household electricity consumption, three objective functions of the model include: (a) to reduce the total daily electricity consumption, (b) to fl atten the peak-to-valley diff erence of daily electricity, (c) to decrease the discarded rate of new energy. The simulation of the calculation example verifi es the feasibility and eff ectiveness of the proposed method.
