A 60-year-old man presented with pain on the left cheek and lateral nose. The patient had been diagnosed with facial herpes zoster in the left V2 area 6 months previously. Medical treatment was prescribed for 6 months but it had little effect. We blocked the left infraorbital nerve under ultrasound guidance, but pain relief was short term. Therefore, we performed pulsed radiofrequency treatment on the left infraorbital nerve under ultrasound guidance. Six months after the procedure, the reduction of pain was still maintained, and there was no need for further management.

We deposited TiAgN and ZrAgN nanocomposite coatings on pure Titanium specimens, by using arc ion plating (AIP) with single alloy targets. TiAg ZrAg alloy targets of 5 wt.%, 10 wt.% silver content by vacuum arc remelting (VAR), followed by homogenization for 2 hours at $1,100^{\circ}C$ in non-active Ar gas atmosphere and characterized these samples for morphology and chemical composition. We investigated the biocompatibility of TiAg and ZrAg alloys by examining the proliferation of L929 fibroblast cells by MTT test assay, after culturing the cells ($4{\times}10^4cells/cm^2$) for 24 hours; and exploring the antibacterial properties of thin films by culturing Streptococus Mutans (KCTC3065), using paper disk techniques. Our results showed no cytotoxic effects in any of the specimens, but the antibacterial effects against Streptococus Mutans appeared only in the 10 wt.% silver content specimens.

Background: Milnacipran is a balanced serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor with minimal side effects and broad safety margin. It acts primarily on the descending inhibitory pain pathway in brain and spinal cord. In many animal studies, intrathecal administration of milnacipran is effective in neuropathic pain management. However, there is no study for the neurological safety of milnacipran when it is administered neuraxially. This study examined the neurotoxicity of epidural milnacipran by observing behavioral and sensory-motor changes with histopathological examinations of spinal cords in rats. Methods: Sixty rats were divided into 3 groups, with each group receiving epidural administration of either 0.3 ml (3 mg) of milnacipran (group M, n = 20), 0.3 ml of 40% alcohol (group A, n = 20), or 0.3 ml of normal saline (group S, n = 20). Results: There were no abnormal changes in the behavioral, sensory-motor, or histopathological findings in all rats of groups M and S over a 3-week observation period, whereas all rats in group A had abnormal changes. Conclusions: Based on these findings, the direct epidural administration of milnacipran in rats did not present any evidence of neurotoxicity in behavioral, sensory-motor and histopathological evaluations.

본 논문에서는 시간적 평활과 시간솎음탐색 기반 이동물체 추적에 관한 방법을 제안하였다. 시간솎음탐색은 현재 프레임에서 시간솎음탐색 방향 마스크를 적용하여 이동물체의 이동 방향을 구하였다. 이동물체 추적은 시간속음탐색 방향 마스크를 적용하여 프레임을 시간속음하고 이동물체의 이동 방향을 예측하여 추적을 수행하였다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 입증하기 위하여 주행 중인 자동차를 대상으로 이동물체 추적 실험을 수행하였다. 이동물체 추적 결과, 제안된 방법은 전역탐색기법과의 이동물체 변위 좌표 오차가 평균 2화소로 정확한 이동물체 추적이 가능함을 보였고, 이동물체 변위 탐색 횟수가 전역탐색방법에 비해서 평균 91% 감소하였고, 이동물체 추적 처리 시간은 평균 29.7ms로서 실시간으로 이동물체를 추적할 수 있음을 보였다. In this paper. temporal smoothing and the decimation-in-time search based moving object tracking is proposed. The moving direction of the moving object at the current frame is obtained by applying the decimation-in-time search direction mask. The moving object tracking is performed by predicting the moving direction of the moving object as frames in the image sequence are decimated by applying the decimation-in-time search direction mask. To examine the propriety of the proposed algorithm, the moving object tracking is simulated for driving car. The results of the moving object tracking show that the number of displacement search times is reduced up to 91% on the average in the proposed algorithm, and the processing time of the tracking is 29.7ms on the average, and hence it is possible to perform real-time tracking of moving object.

멀티미디어 데이터의 저작권 주장을 위한 방법으로 사용되고 디지털 워터마킹 중에서 영상에 대한 워터마킹 기법이 많이 연구되어지고 있지만, 칼라 영상에서의 워터마킹 연구가 미비하다. 본 논문에서는 칼라 채널을 분석한 후 분석 결과를 이용하여 DCT 기반의 이미지 워터마킹을 제안하였다. 워터마크 삽입은 원영상과 워터마크를 이산 코사인 변환하여 계수들을 합함으로써 원영상에 워터마크를 삽입하였다. 워터마크 추출은 워터마크가 삽입된 영상을 역 이산 코사인 변환하여 워터마크를 추출하였다. 실험 영상으로는 Baboon 표준 영상을 사용했고, 워터마크는 지문 영상을 이용하여 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 비가시성 및 워터마크의 상관도에서 만족할 만한 결과를 확인하였다. Image watermarking schemes are researched in the field of digital watermarking for multimedia data copyright protection, but color image watermarking scheme is a little bit insufficient. In this paper, image watermarking of DCT based using color channels analysis was proposed. Watermark is embedded in the frequency domain of the chromatic channels by using discrete cosine transform. Watermark is extracted from watermarked image by using inverse discrete cosine transform. Baboon standard image was used for experimental image, and a fingerprint image was used for watermark image. Simulation results are satisfied with invisibility and correlation from the extracted watermark.
