Determining Perceived Values of M-Banking Adoption
Kiuk Sung,Sungho Lee,Sang-Il Lee 한국디지털융합학회 2021 IJICTDC Vol.6 No.2
This study develops a mobile banking (hereafter M-banking) research model by adopting the concept of ‘perceived value’ which mediates the relationship between M-banking quality and M-banking attractiveness and usage. A questionnaire-based field survey was administered to M-banking users (n=273). Our findings revealed that the perceived value of M-banking services depends heavily on information quality, whereas system and service quality exert at least some influence on the M-banking value. We also found that monetary value and emotional value significantly affected M-banking attractiveness, while monetary value, functional value and M-banking attractiveness significantly influenced M-banking usage. Further, interesting differences between early and late adopters were found.
U-Business Strategic Positioning in Different U-Business Contexts
Kiuk Sung,Gyanendra Prasad Joshi 한국디지털융합학회 2021 디지털경영연구 Vol.8 No.1
With the development of ubiquitous computing technology, U-business is a growing phenomenon and gradually becoming a reality. Accordingly, academics and practitioners might be interested in the research on the typology of U-business and its strategic directions. This paper attempts to develop a conceptual framework in order to identify and characterize U-business strategic positioning in a variety of U-business contexts. For empirical testing, we conducted an investigation into the U-business strategies of Korean companies. Our preliminary result shows that firms from different U-business contexts adopt different strategic directions when implementing new U-businesses. In conclusion, U-business will continue to empower firms in order to enhance their competitive advantage in their own industries.
Improved Charge Pump with Reduced Reverse Current
Kiuk Gwak,Sang-Gug Lee,Seung-Tak Ryu 대한전자공학회 2012 Journal of semiconductor technology and science Vol.12 No.3
A highly efficient charge pump that minimizes the reverse charge sharing current (in short, reverse current) is proposed. The charge pump employs auxiliary capacitors and diode-connected MOSFET along with an early clock to drive the charge transfer switches; this new method provides better isolation between stages. As a result, the amount of reverse current is reduced greatly and the clock driver can be designed with reduced transition slope. As a proof of the concept, a 1.1V-to-9.8 V charge pump was designed in a 0.35 μm 18 V CMOS technology. The proposed architecture shows 1.6 V ~ 3.5 V higher output voltage compared with the previously reported architecture.
