        김환기 회화를 응용한 에코티셔츠의 모티브 디자인 개발

        Eco T-shirts have become a part of environmental campaigns following social trends toward eco-friendly designs. With the demand for such designs expected to grow, there has arisen a need for higher product variety. In the past, eco T-shirts were designed to convey messages about the protection of nature through the use of environmentally friendly text or images. However, in order to respond to the preferences and emotional needs of Koreans, designs should cater to their characteristics and tastes. To this end, this study used a Whan-ki Kim-inspired motif to develop an eco-friendly design tailored to Korean perspectives. It is believed that this process can not only result in a distinctive eco T-shirt design, but also make it globally competitive. With regard to research methodology, a total of 41 paintings of Whan-ki Kim were analyzed and classified into four major themes or key values expressed in modern eco-friendly fashion designs: naturalness, indigenousness, harmony between nature and man, and harmony between natural and artificial beauty. Employing a wide range of CAD techniques and varying forms, the themes were developed into 28 T-shirt designs after their forms, tones, and textures were fully explored. This study demonstrates the possibility of designing creative, aesthetic, and high value-added eco T-shirts through motif development. In addition, it successfully integrates Korean paintings in the development of T-shirt designs aimed at communicating environmentally friendly messages.

      • ABR 트래픽에 대한 피드백제어 모델

        The Asynchornous transfer mode (ATM) can be efficiently used to transport apcket data services. The switching system will support voice and packet data service simultaneously from end to end applications. To guarantee the quality of service (QoS) of the offered services, a source rate to send packet data is needed to control the network overload condition. Most existing control algorithms are shown to provide the threshold-based feedback control technique. However, real-time voice calls can be dynamically connected and released during data services in the network. If the feedback control information delays, a quality of the serviced voice can be degraded due to a time delay between the source and the destination in the high speed link. An adaptive algorithm based on the optimal least mean square error technique is presented for the predictive feedback control techinique. This algorithm is used to attempt predicting a future buffer size from weight(slope) adaptation of unknown functions, which are used for feedback control. In this paper, we have presented simulation results, which are related to the effective use of the algorithm.

        Recently, in response to the demand for a increased effort in education of leader for the next generation, there has been a significant development in the planning of campus, which is the center of research and academic activities of the coming generation. Therefore, many institutions have tried expanding educational facilities both in terms of quality and quantity. But, there always should be more systematic consideration in drafting a campus master plan so that it can meet the demand of the times and future society. Thus, this research has been attempted in order to be prepared for adaptation to growth and change and to carry out the educational goals international current of studies and the characteristic of Suwon Campus, Kyung Hee University.

      • 北漢山 森林群落의 植物社會學的 硏究

        The vertical distribution of the canopy trees in Mt.Bukhan was studied by quedrat method. In this mountain, there were distributed about 126 species of main trees and forest communities consist of Quercus mongolica, pinus densiflora, Alnus hirsuta var. sibirica, Acer pseudo-sieboldianum var. koreanum, Sorbus alnifolia, Quercus acutissima and so on. The change of forest communities according to the elevation of this mountain was not conspicious. As The elevation heightened of this mountain, the importance value and summed dominance ratio of Fraxinus rhynchophlla and Acer pseudo-sieboldianum var. koreanum increased, while those of Quercus variabilis lowered. Through all the area of this mountain, mean importance value of Quercus mongolica was high. There appeared difference type of vegetation between valley and ridge area but no directional recognize in the kind of plant species though very few species were limited in a limitted part, such as Celtis aurantica of the ridge area, and Quercus acutissima x variabilis of Jeongnung valley. In each study area, Pinus densiflora on the floor was abundant and the summed dominance ratio of Sorbus alnifolia, Quercus serrata and Quercus aliena were high to elevation range for 250-350m. As the elevation hghtened, the mean of total base value of soil samples in study area was high but the mean of O,M. and available phosphate value of those did not show a fixed tendency. The relationship of the importance value of Fraxinus rhynchophylla and the mean of total base value of soil in study area showed a significant and positive correlation. The index of similarity of the forest communities to the valley and ridge area, and to the southeast and northwest side of Mt.Bukhan were 63.7, 67.7% respectively.

        Angiosarcomas are rare malignant neoplasms, which mainly occur on the skin and superficial tissue. Angiosarcoma in the small intestine after radiation therapy is very rare and there are less than 20 cases of small-intestine angiosarcoma after pelvic irradiation. We report a case of double cancer with gastric adenocarcinoma and postradiation angiosarcoma of the small intestine which has been diagnosed 20 years after pelvic irradiation therapy for uterine cervical cancer.

        This Paper describes a contour extraction algorithm for color image composition. When a new image is compoended with an object cut from many images, it is important to extract contour f the object. The principal way of extracting contour suggested the method that the contour of an object is drawn with a thick line, and the line is made a thin line by spacial differental value if input image. But in that case, as there is an defect which takes processing the above mentioned method.

        <P>Aspirin-exacerbated respiratory diseases (AERD) are associated with the metabolism of arachidonic acid. FPR2 (formyl peptide receptor2) is a high-affinity ligand receptor for potent anti-inflammatory lipid metabolites: lipoxins. Thus, functional alterations of the FPR2 may contribute to AERD. We investigated the relationship between single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the FPR2 and AERD. Asthmatics were categorized into AERD <15% decreases in forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV(1)), and/or naso-ocular reactions after oral aspirin challenge (n=170) and aspirin-tolerant asthma (ATA, n=268). In all, 11 SNPs were genotyped. FPR2 protein expressions on CD14-positive monocytes in peripheral blood were measured using flow cytometric analysis. We performed RT-PCR of the FPR2 mRNA expressed by peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Logistic regression analysis showed that the minor allele frequency of FPR2 -4209T>G (rs1769490) in intron 2 was significantly lower in the AERD group (n=170) than in the ATA group (n=268) (P=0.006, P(corr)=0.04, recessive model). The decline of FEV(1) after aspirin challenge was significantly lower in the subjects with GG homozygotes of FPR2 -4209T>G than those with the other genotypes (P=0.0002). Asthmatic homozygotes for FPR2 -4209T>G minor allele exhibited significantly higher FPR2 protein expression in CD14-positive monocytes than did those with the common allele of FPR2 -4209T>G allele (P=0.01). There was no difference in the expression of the wild form and the exon 2 deleted variant form of FPR2 gene according to the genotypes of FPR2 -4209T>G. The minor allele at FPR2 -4209T>G may have a protective role against the development of AERD, via increase of FPR2 protein expression in inflammatory cells.</P>
