Sc₂O₃를 첨가한 SnO₂/Ca,Pt 가스센서의 부탄감응 특성

A coprecipitation method was used for preparing Ca and Pt doped SnO_(2) powder. Components were investigated by XRD and SEM. Sc_(2)O_(3) added SnO_(2) /Ca,Pt thick film devices were fabricated by screen printing technique for butane gas detecting. By addition of Sc_(2)O_(3), the selectivity of SnO_(2) /Ca,Pt thick film for butane gas was enhanced. The sensitivity of Sc_(2)O_(3) added SnO_(2) /Ca,Pt device to 3,000 ppm butane in air was about 90% at the operating temperature. of 200℃. And the device showed good selectivity for butane gas.

The objective of this study is to derermine whether there would be a significant improvement in the information contents of financial statement in terms of predictive ability of annual income if cost of equity capital is recognized as an explicit business cost. The results were summarized as follows : 1. The impact of cost of equity capital on annual income is investigated in terms of percentage change in annual income by inclusion of the cost of equity capital. The degrees of percentage change in annual income were 77.6%, 96.2% and 86.5% at interest rate on bank loan, yields on government and public bond, E/P ratio respectively. 2. The predictive ability of current reported income is found to be greater than predictive ability of entity residual income regardless of different interest rates, forecasting model, high or low debt to equity ratios. 3. There was no statistically significant difference in the predictive ability of entity residual income using three different interest rates except one case. For model 1, significant difference is exhibited in the set of interest rate on bank loan-yield on government & public bond at α=.05. Therefore, it could be said that the issue of interest rate selection is not important.

Heparin이 망내계세포에 미치는 영향에 관한 초미형태학적 연구

저자들은 heparin 투여후 세망내피계의 초미형태학적 변화를 관찰하기 위해 Sprague-Dawley계 숫쥐에 heparin과 endotoxin을 투여한 후 비장을 채취하여 실험에 이용하였다. 실험군은 heparin 전처치군과 heparin 후처치군으로 나누었으며 비교군으로 heparin 단독투여군과 endotoxin 단독투여군을 설정하여 각각을 투약후 비장을 채취하여 광학현미경 및 전자현미경적 검색을 실시하였다. 실험결과를 요약하면 heparin 단독투여군은 대식세포, 형질세포양 림프아구 및 다핵백혈구가 증가되었고, 대식세포의 탐식능도 항진되었다. 그러나 대식세포자체의 소기관 발달은 현저하지 않았다. Endotoxin 단독투여군은 시간이 갈수록 대식세포의 탐식능이 저하되고, 파괴가 증가되어 수가 감소하였다. 미소혈전이 자주 관찰되었으며 기타세포들의 파괴가 관찰되었다. Heparin 전처치 및 후처치군은 공히 endotoxin군에 비해 대식세포 탐식능이 증가되었다. 이상의 성적으로 보아 heparin의 망내세포에 대한 영향은 주로 대식세포의 탐식능과 수의 증가로 생각되며 이는 정상 및 병적상태 모두에서 일어난다고 생각된다. 또한 ET 투여 전후 heparin을 투여한 실험군에서 공히 대식세포 탐식능이 증가되었으므로 이는 ET shock 후 조직손상으로 분비되는 세망내피계 저하물질에 대해 heparin이 길항작용을 할 것으로 생각된다. 또한 heparin의 대식세포 탐식능항진에 대한 효과는 세포의 직접적인 자극이라기 보다는 탐식과정중 특히 oposonization에 효과를 미칠 것으로 생각된다. The authors studied an ultrastructural changes of reticuloendothelial system after administration of heparin. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were examined after administration of heparin and endotoxin. The experimental groups were divided into heparin pretreated groups and heparin posttreated groups. The control groups were divided into heparin-only groups and endotoxin-only groups. Each animals were sacrificed and spleens were extirpated and examined by light and electron microscopy. The results obtained were summarized as follows: Heparin-only groups showed proliferation of macrophages, lymphocytes and neutrophils. The phagocytic activity of marcophage is enhanced. The cytoplamic organellar change is not remarkable except increase of secondary lysosomes. Endotoxin-only groups showed decrease of phagocytic cells. The phagocytic activity is also depressed. Destruction of macrophages and other cells are noted. Microthrombi are frequently seen. Both heparin pretreated and heparin posttreated groups revealed relative enhancement of phagocytic activity compaired to endotoxin-only groups. From the result of the experimental study, it appears that the effect of heparin on the reticuloendothelial system is enhancement of phagocytic activity of macrophages both in the coditions of normal and pathologic one. And it also suggests that heparin may act as an antagonizing factor to the reticuloendothelial depressing agent that may be derived from injured organ of endotoxin shock. And the effect of heparin to the phagocytic activity of macrophage may be related to the process of phagocytosis such as opsonization or to the direct cellular stimulation.

The purpose of this studyy was to explore conjugal power structitrein urban spouses in order to suggest basic data of family problemsolution. For this purpose, a questionnaire was constructed and administratedto 635 married women. The conjugal power structure scale used a modified version ofdecision making meaure constructed by Blood and wolfe. The results of tis study are summarized as follows : 1. Urban family types by conjugal power structure were establishedas follows: Autonomic type 49.6% syncratic type 32.4%, wife-domi-nant type 12.8%, husband-dominant type 5.2%. 2. Conjugal power structure represented more explict difference atpsychological variables rather than social, demographic statistic,family environmental variables. 3. Marital satisfaction was highest in syncratic type and wife-do-rninant type was lowest. 4. Wife's power was highest for "food preparation" and "purchaseof family clothes," Husband's power was highest for "purchase andsale of housing" "method of property management." 5. The degree of joint decision making between husband and wifewas highest in deciding problem of children.

온라인 쇼핑몰 이미지 측정 지수개발 및 타당성 검증

소비자들의 구매의사결정에 브랜드 또는 제품의 이미지가 지대한 영향을 미친다는 사실은 누구나 인지하고 있는 바이다. 오프라인 기업이나 브랜드, 상점 등의 이미지를 평가하기 위한 지수개발은 지속적으로 행해져 왔으나, 전자상거래가 급성장하고 있는 현 시점에서 온라인 브랜드나 기업의 이미지를 측정하기 위한 지수개발 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이러한 점을 염두에 두고, 본 연구는 온라인 쇼핑몰에 대한 총체적 이미지를 구성하는 다양한 차원(핵심요인)들을 밝혀내고 이를 측정하기 위한 통계적으로 신뢰성 및 타당성이 높은 지수를 개발하는데 있다. 관련 분야의 이론적 고찰 및 문항추출, 서베이, 신뢰성 및 타당성 검증 등의 절차를 거쳐 본 연구는 온라인 쇼핑몰 이미지를 측정하기 위한 29문항으로 구성된 다음과 같은 7개의 요인을 추출하였다: 고객서비스, 신뢰성, 사용용이성, 제품정보, 유용성, 보안, 거래변경 용이성. 본 연구결과와 관련하여 학술적 및 실무적 시사점 등이 논의되어졌다. With the exponential growth of online shopping industry, a valid instrument measuring an online shopping mall’s image is essential for marketers and advertisers. This study examines consumers’ perceptions of the image of online shopping mall. Following traditional methods of scale development, a scale is developed to tap an underlying dimension of online shopping mall image. Psychometric scale-development procedures were followed that rigorously tested a large pool of items for their reliability and validity. Evidence is presented attesting to the scale’s dimensionality, reliability, and validity. The importance of such a scale for the field of marketing is discussed.

경도관 동맥색전술을 이용한 비정상 자궁출혈의 치료

Objective : Our purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the transcatheter arterial embolization for the management of abnormal uterine bleeding. Materials and Methods : 14 patients with massive or recurrent uterine bleeding underwent percutaneous transcatheter arterial embolization between February 2003 and September 2004. We reviewed 14 cases of uterine artery or internal iliac artery embolization using gelfoam or PVA particles. Results : Good management of uterine bleeding was achieved in 13 of 14(93%) cases. The cause of abnormal uterine bleeding was myoma(5 case), post D & E bleeding(3), acquired vascular malformation(3), pseudoaneurysm(1), adenomyosis(1), and endometrial hyperplasia(1). Conclusion : Transcatheter artery embolization is an effective and life-saving procedure in massive or recurrent uterine bleeding. Early diagnosis and prompt transcatheter arterial embolization is a useful mangement of uterine bleeding.

Development of novel on-line capillary gas chromatography-based analysis method for volatile organic compounds produced by aerobic fermentation

<P>Many volatile compounds, such as isoprene, a precursor used in the synthesis of natural rubber, have been produced through fermentation using genetically engineered microorganisms. Despite this biotechnological success, measuring the concentrations of volatile compounds during fermentation is difficult because of their high volatility. In current systems, off-line analytical methods usually lead to product loss, whereas on-line methods raise the production cost due to the requirement of complex devices. Here, we developed a novel on-line gas chromatography (GC)-based system for analyzing the concentration of isoprene with the aim to minimize the cost and requirement for devices as compared to current strategies. In this system, a programmable logic controller is used to combine conventional GC with a syringe pump module (SPM) directly connected to the exhaust pipe of the fermentor, and isoprene-containing samples are continuously pumped from the SPM into the GC using an air cylinder recycle stream. We showed that this novel system enables isoprene analysis during fermentation with convenient equipment and without the requirement of an expensive desorption tube. Molecular Cloning and Characterization of a Flower-specific Thionin in Chinese Cabbage

Thionins are a family of low molecular weight cysteine-rich antimicrobial peptides. We isolated a cDNA encoding thionin gene from a flower bud cDNA library of Chinese cabbage (CFT). The gene contains 611 by nucleotides with 60 bp, and 150 by untranslated regions at its N- and C-terminal, respectively. The deduced amino acid sequence encoded 133 amino acids containing precursor polypeptide. The protein reveals that the precursor has a tripartite structure: a putative signal sequence at the N-terminus, followed by a mature thionin peptide, and a C-terminal acidic domain, which facilitates transport of the mature thionin through membrane. Genomic Southern blot analysis suggests that the CFT gene may be present as a single or two copy gene in the Chinese cabbage genome. Northern blot analysis shows that the gene is specifically expressed in flowers, but not in leaves, stems, or roots. When we analyzed the antifungal activity of the recombinant CFT protein, which was expressed in E. coli using the truncated cDNA region corresponding to the mature protein part, it was not active on fungal growth inhibition.

Molecular Characterization of a Chinese Cabbage cDNA Encoding Thioredoxin - h that is Predominantly Expressed in Flowers

Even though three isotypes of thioredoxins (-f, -m and -h types) have been identified in a variety of plant cells, there are only a few reports on thioredoxin-h that were recently identified. In this study, a cDNA encoding a h-type of thioredoxin was isolated from a cDNA library of Chinese cabbage, and named here CTrx-h. An open reading frame of the gene contained a polypeptide of 133 amino acids with a conserved active center, WCGPC, which appeared in all of the thioredoxin proteins. A deduced amino acid sequence of the CTrx-h showed the highest sequence identity with those of Arabidopsis thioredoxin-h2 (75.2 %) and thioredoxin-h5 (46.6%) proteins, but it shared a low sequence homology to other isotypes of plant thioredoxinm and thioredoxin-f. The CTrx-h protein that is expressed in E. coli represented not only an insulin reduction activity, but also electron transferring activity from NADPH to thioredoxin-dependent peroxidase. A genomic Southern blot analysis using the cDNA insert of CTrx-h revealed that the gene consisted of a small multigene family in Chinese cabbage genome. On the contrary to other thioredoxin-h proteins that were widely distributed in most tissues of the plant, the CTrx-h was predominantly expressed in flowers. The expression was very low in other tissues. The data of the Northern blot analysis suggests that the CTrx-h may have other functions in flower development or differentiation, in addition to its defensive role.
