        팬티스타킹의 치수표시에 관한 연구

        The pantyhose is a close-fitting garment, and consumers are highly sensitive to any progress made in fitting the garment to their lower body and comfort. However, the pantyhose manufactured in Korea are only one-sized. The purpose of this study is to suggest a sizing system for pantyhose. The results of this study are as follows: 1. As a results of questions regarding the sizing system of pantyhose, 88.2% of people who responded to our questionnaire preferred multi-sized pantyhose. In particular, larger women opposed to thin women expressed some dissatisfaction in the length and the width of the pantyhose. In addition, most of women preferred and indication of the sizing system and the body size of the control dimension (body mass and height). 2. The 13 species of pantyhose that were manufactured abroad are of all sizes, and only one type of pantyhose if one-sized. However, most domestic pantyhose except one, are one-sized. 3. As a result of the experiment, the spandex content in pantyhose was approximately 12~18%. Moreover, the elongation rate was approximately 200~370%, which differed according to the features of the material. The stretch size of the pantyhose had varies greatly, and has not yet been standardized. 4. The methods for indicating the pantyhose size in this study are the square method and the stair method. The characteristics of the square method are simple, but the coverage is relatively low. The characteristic of the stair method are so complicated that older women have a low preference for this method. However, the coverage rate is high.

        精神分裂症 體驗內容의 象徵性에 關한 心理學的 意味分析

        以上에서 한 精神分裂症患者의 妄想體驗內容들의 象徵的 意味를 主로 Jung의 分析心理學的인 解釋態度로 살펴보았다. 本患者는 38歲의 女子로 內院前 被害意識과 世界의 沒약感, 비를 오게하여 불을 끄며 世界를 改할수 있다는 呪術的 內容의 妄想을 가지고 있었으며 內院後에도 軍隊에 들어가 南北統一을 하겠다는 誇大妄想을 가졌는데 DSM-Ⅲ에 의거하여 精神分列症 妄想型으로 解析되었다. 入院初의 急性期와 寬解期에 2回에 걸쳐 실시한 聯想檢査를 通하여 分析心理念學的 意味의 Complex를 追跡했고 患者가 나타내는 名種 病的인 精神的 所産들을 患者自新의 論評과 함께 神話, 民譚, 民間信仰, 新輿宗敎, 여러 文化現象속에 나타난 集團的 無意識의 表現內容과 比較함으로써 여기에 共通된 象徵的 意味가 있음을 發見하였다. 急性期의 聯想檢査結果는 寬解期의 聯想檢査結果에 比해 Complex症候가 數的으로 훨씬 많았다. 그 內容은 대체로 病的 精神狀態와 符合되는 것이었고 寬解期 聯想檢査의 Complex症候가 現在까지 實施된 正常군의 聯想檢査結果와 類似하였다. 두 檢査에서 共通點은 自己中心的 反應, 外國語 反應 等 知的인 劣等感을 補償하고자 하는 傾向이 두드러졌다. 다른 精神分裂症患者의 聯想檢査에 관한 硏究와 比較할 때 隔離된 環境的 條件에 나온듯한 몇가지 Complex들이 이 患者에서는 나타나지 않았으며 대개 個人的 Complex가 많았으나 때로는 集團的 無意識의 內容(totality)도 發見되었다. 入院初의 檢査過程을 通하여 rapport를 形成하는데 도움이 되었다. 患者의 妄想體驗內容에 對한 分析心理學的인 解釋過程에서는 被害意識에서 誇大觀念으로 移行하는 妄想體驗의 展開가 自我의 防禦目的뿐 아니라 人格의 瓦解를 補充 또는恢復하려는 明白한 無意識의 自己治癒機能의 表現이라는 것이 指摘되었다. 自己治癒機能의 像은 모닥불, 물, 비, 바람, 赤人, 軍隊, 統一의 觀念에서 나타났으며, 그림을 通해서도 中道, 太極의 xi ng像으로 나왔다. 特히 南北統一의 主張을 했던 다른 5例와 比較하여 精神的 機에서 人格의 分裂을 止揚하고 對極의 對立으로 인한 葛藤과 斷絶을 終熄시키려고 하는 無意識의 含一에의 意志가 이 患者에 局限하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 精神分析症患者의 體驗에 대한 分析心理學的인 象徵解釋은 臨床精神醫學에서 看過되기 쉬운 心理的인 側面, 例컨대 怪異한 行動, 支離滅裂된 思考, 自閉症, 聯想의 解弛와 같은 學術用語로써 大辯되는 患者의 世界에 대한 理解의 可能性을 열어주는 것이라고 생각된다. 이를 通하여 患者의 內面的인 治癒機能의 뜻을 把握할 수 있게 되고 精神分裂症 患者의 精神治療的인 接近에 重要한 方向을 提示함을 再確認하였다. A 38 years old housewife, who was diagnosed as schizophrenia, paranoid type by DSM-Ⅲ, was under psychological investigation from the viewpoint of Jung's analytical psychology . She felt persecuted by the ex-wife of her present husband, then many other anonymous people. Later, symptoms evolved to grandiose ideas, identifying herself with the rain-maker and hero to unify the divided country. Jung's association test had been performed twice in acute and remission phase during her admission for the purpose of search for the complexes in the meaning of analytical psychology. Patient's irrelevant emotional behavior and bizarre verbal expressions as well as her spontaneous drawings, dreams and fantasies were compared with relevant manifestations in myth, fairytales and folk belief, to elucidate symbolical meaning of patient's apparently incomprehensible psychotic experiences. The result of the association test during acute phase, contrary to the text result from remission state, revealed numerous complexes relevant to her pathological feelings. The text performance enable to open the more favorable communication with the therapist. In her delusional ideas and behaviors, the symbolical images of Self in terms of analytical psychology which is supposed to be the self-healing aspect of unconscious have been discovered, such as bonfire, wind, rain, the ideas of unification of the land and the national flag contained Tabgook(Tai-Kih) in her drawings. The understanding of patients pathological experiences in Jung's symbolic way seemed, as Jung himself has alredy suggested before, to open new possibility to treat the schizophrenics psychologically by following the unconscious self-healing intention the meaning of which is usually obscured by the therapist's inability to understand the symbolical language adopted by the patient. In this patient, it is suggested that therapeutic plan should be directed to controlled warmness, the actualization of her hidden masculine drive, and the harmonious union of these opposites. We reconfirmed that the interpretation of symbolic meaning of schizophrenic experiences approached from the standpoint of analytical psychology makes it possible to understand the psychological aspects of patients, to catch the unconscious healing intention, and suggests the direction of psychotherapeutic approach.

        정신분열병과 Glutathione S-Transferase M1유전자 다형성

        Objectives : This study aimed to test the possible association between Glutathione S-Transferase Ml gene (GSTMl) variants and schizophrenia. Methods : One hundred and eleven inpatients with schizophrenia and 130 healthy controls were recruited. Genotyping was performed by polymerase chain reaction-based method. Results : The GSTMl null genotype was significantly more frequent in patients with schizophrenia than in controls (p=0.014, odd ratio=1.93, 95% confidence interva1=1.115-3.351), while GSTMl genotype vahants were not associated with either tardive dyskinesia (TD) or total Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale (AIMS) scores. Conclusion : The present study suggests that the GSTMl polymorphism may confer susceptibility to the development of schizophrenia but not to TD, at least in Korean population.

        Cryopreserved Marine Microalgae Grown Using Different Freezing Methods

        Marine microalgae are a key diet component in finfish and shellfish aquaculture. Cryopreservation of the microalgae is suggested by many other studies as the best method for long-term storage. To test cryopreservation efficacy, 19 taxas of marine microalgal species were examined. In the first experiment we compared dimethylsulfoxide (Me2SO) and glycerol, which are most widely used as cryoprotectant agents (CPAs). The cryopreservation comprised two freezing procedures. Firstly, the samples containing the CPAs were kept at 4°C for 10 min before being plunged into liquid nitrogen (-196°C). Secondly, samples containing CPAs were pre-cooled (-1°C min-1) to -80°C before being plunged into liquid nitrogen. Most of the species were successfully cryopreserved using Me2SO, whereas the Prasinophyceae (T. striata and T. suecica) were successfully cryopreserved using glycerol. In general, the cooling method had no influence on the survival of the microalgae except in the case of the Tetraselmis species. In the second experiment, the cultured solution was divided before cryopreservation into concentrated and non-concentrated groups to identify the effect of cell density during cryopreservation. After 12 months of storage, the samples were again divided into centrifugation and non-centrifugation groups to learn the effect of Me2SO on the culture. Viability and growth of the microalgae were not influenced by cell density or the centrifugal removal of the Me2SO after thawing.

        Ethanol Extract of Three Plants of Curcuma longae Radix, Phellinus linteus, and Scutellariae Radix Inhibits Amyloid β Protein (25-35)-Induced Neurotoxicity in Cultured Neurons and Memory Impairment in Mice

        The present study investigated an ethanol extract (HS0608) of a mixture of three medicinal plants of Curcumalongae radix, Phellinus linteus, and Scutellariae radix for possible neuroprotective effects on neurotoxicity induced by amyloid βprotein (Aβ) (25-35) in cultured rat cortical neurons and antidementia activity in mice. Exposure of cultured cortical neurons to10µM Aβ (25-35) for 36h induced neuronal apoptotic death. At 1-50㎍/㎖, HS0608 inhibited neuronal death, elevation of intra-cellular calcium concentration ([Ca2+]i), and generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) induced by Aβ (25-35) in primary cul-tures of rat cortical neurons. Memory loss induced by intracerebroventricular injection of ICR mice with 15 nmol Aβ (25-35) wasinhibited by chronic treatment with HS0608 (25, 50 and 100㎎/㎏, p.o. for 7 days) as measured by a passive avoidance test. Fromthese results, we suggest that the antidementia effect of HS0608 is due to its neuroprotective effect against Aβ (25-35)-inducedneurotoxicity and that HS0608 may have a therapeutic role in preventing the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.

        온도와 염분이 Rotifer Brachionus plicatilis 와 B. rotundiformis 의 성장과 크기에 미치는 영향

        Rotifers of the genus Brachionus are commonly used as a live food for larval fish, and rotifers of different sizes are preferred according the mouth size of the fish. Rotifer species vary in size, and individual size can depend on the temperature and salinity of the rearing environment. We investigated the effects of temperature and salinity for two species, B. plicatilis (250-300 μm) and B. rotundiformis (100-220 μm). Two strains of B. plicatilis (CCUMP 36 and 48) and two strains of B. rotundiformis (CCUMP 51 and 56) were received from the Culture Collection of Useful Marine Plankton (CCUMP) at Pukyong National University and cultured with the green alga, Nannochloris oculata (KMMCC 16) from the Korea Marine Microalgal Culture Center (KMMCC). The growth and size of rotifers were examined at three water temperatures (16ºC, 24ºC, 32ºC) and four salinities (20 psu, 25 psu, 30 psu, 35 psu) under continuous light (40 μmolm-2s-1). The maximum density and growth rate of B. rotundiformis were greater than those of B. plicatilis . The lorica length of B. plicatilis ranged from 215.4 to 269.7 μm and from 154.9 to 206.6 μm for B. rotundiformis, depending on strain, temperature and salinity. Rotifers were smaller when cultured at high temperatures, regardless of salinity. B. rotundiformis preferred higher salinity than B. plicatilis . The results demonstrated that the size of rotifers could be controlled to some extent by temperature and salinity.
