        A Study on the Automatic Facial Recognition System for Cosmetic Surgery Based on Physiognomy -With a Focus on the Shape of Eye

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a system for the cosmetic surgery procedures to help improve the work efficiency for those who specialize in the cosmetic surgery, and increase their satisfaction with proce-dures and surgical results for their customers. For instance, when a customer's eyes are illuminated on a mobile screen, the physiognomy characteristics can be automatically recognized, which can help determine a procedure for the eye surgery or operation. And since the distance between the eyes can be automatically recognized, it is possible to predict the scope and method of cosmetic surgery focused on the eyes, thereby increasing the satis-faction of the customers who desire a good physiognomy and appearance. Method: First, each part(front of the eye, tail of the eye, upper line, and underline) forming the shape of the eye, the top and bottom of the face, the left and right sides of the pupil, and the points characterizing the end-points of the cheekbones are designated as the points on the coordinate plane as the feature point. Second, after defining the physiognomy related elements and the cosmetic surgery elements with a mathe-matical formula, the coordinate values for the feature points are automatically obtained by the facial recognition technology, and the cosmetic surgery image according to the physiognomy is calculated according to the calcu-lation result entered in the formula, thereby setting the standards for determination. Third, since the shape of the eye can be distinguished when the condition given by the equation is satisfied with respect to the feature points input as coordinates, the method for outputting physiognomy and cosmetic surgery determinations can be presented. Results: As it was determined that the eye shape and the distance between the eyes have a large effect on physiognomy, the method for determining the procedure and standard for cosmetic surgery as an automatic facial recognition system was proposed. Conclusion: The experts of the service industry for the cosmetic surgery identify the eye shape of the customers who desire to change the shape of the eye, and are thinking about whether the shape according to the needs can harmonize with the image on the entire face, and solve it accordingly, and as a method, make reference to the physiognomy. At which time, the backed-up physiognomy knowledge of the app program based on this system is automatically searched, and efficient results can be expected. Hence, this paper will be used as a basis for establishing a system that suggests the procedures or surgical directions such as makeup, plastic surgery, and tattoos.

        A Study on the Establishment of Objective Standards Value for Physiognomy and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery: For Your Eyes and Eyebrows

        Purpose: This study aims to reduce the failure rate due to excessive surgery (procedure) by consumers who want to satisfy their appearance through cosmetic plastic surgery. Most plastic surgery consumers want to know their face (especially their eyes and eyebrows) in advance to achieve results that look physiognomically good ahead of procedures or surgery. Until now, however, the characteristics of each part cannot be objectively converted into data. Therefore, we intend to develop a system so that the specific part of the face to be identified can be examined before surgery (procedure). The system allows you to immediately grasp the current physiognomic results and appearance status while automatically recording feature points in coordinates when you show your face on the screen of a mobile device. Again, the purpose of this study is to prevent wrong judgment and failure in performing surgery (procedure) through the development of such a system. Method: First, the name of each part of the feature points constituting the eyes and eyebrows was designated as a point on the coordinate plane. Second, the six types of eyes and eyebrows were first defined by equation. By substituting the input coordi-nates into this equation, a criterion for determining what shape the user s eyebrows fit was presented. In addition, it is possible to determine what shape the user s eyes are according to the coordinates of the eyes. Third, by substituting the coordinates of the eyes and eyebrows, the length and position of the eyes were com-pared with the position of the eyebrows to determine the image state of the physiognomy and cosmetic plastic surgery, and to what extent it is allowed in surgery (procedure) was suggested. Results: Since eyes and eyebrows are the most important parts of one s physiognomy (appearance), a method for setting standards that allow immediate judgment of each shape was suggested. The equation was defined according to the shape of the eyes and eyebrows, and when the coordinates were input, it was possible to deter-mine which shape they were, so that good results could be derived. Conclusion: In physiognomy, the color of the pupils and the degree of clarity of the eyes are important. Eyes can be said to be windows to the mind, and they are important parts of judging one s personality and character because they convey thoughts. Eyebrows, along with the eyes, are in an important position to determine large parts of physiognomy and beauty. There are times when you have to decide on surgery for better physiognomy and appearance, but it takes time and effort to learn the correlation between your eyes and eyebrows professionally. Therefore, if you have a tool to analyze it when you do not have knowledge on physiognomy (appearance), you can expect much more efficient results. Based on this paper, it is believed that it will be possible to establish a system that presents the direction or limitations of physiognomy (appearance) and surgery (procedure) because the user s appearance image status can be immediately known by reflecting eyes and eyebrows on the screen of devices.

        신체적 유형에 따른 바디페인팅 연구

        Body painting according to physical types is a method to express the body as it exists in nature or as an active element of nature. There is a need to research physical formation that applies the trend of contemporary naturalism to the types of nature art by emphasizing the artistic value of body painting with natural environmental overtones. Importantly, body painting according to physical types attempts an intact reproduction of natural objects and the reflection of the beauty of natural objects in body painting. Thus, the purpose of this study was to analyze body painting according to physical types based on the types of nature art. The methodology of the study included theoretical and empirical review. Theoretical review examined the characteristics of physical formation in nature art and relevant nature art works and body painting of physical types through previous research and literature. The empirical review applied analyses to works extracted from web sites of body painting. The study included physical type cases extracted from body painting works from 2005 to 2015 in foreign web sites(www.ilovebodyart.com and www.angel cakebodyart.com). Body painting works were based on the characteristics of physical types. As a result, the body painting of physical types based on nature art is as follows. First, organic continuity with nature art through the artists’thoughts and beliefs. Second, the specificity of place that respects the natural phenomenon itself. Third, the creative diversity of formative shapes for the body. Fourth, the social implications of body painting with human empathy. Fifth, immediacy to embody the artistic will of the artist. Finally, the application of physical types according to affinity with nature, as well as an independent artistic entity.

        The Effect of the Beauty Service Quality for HUMANS on the Customer Satisfaction and the Customer Loyalty

        Purpose: The quality of beauty service which directly influences the survival and growth of the industries is a crucial issue. Therefore, in this study, the effect on the customer satisfaction is examined by using the newly devel-oped dimension of beauty service quality, and the effect of service quality on each group by mediating the cus-tomer satisfaction between the customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for attract-ing customers and creating profits for and in the beauty service industry through the service quality, customer loyalty, and the customer satisfaction. Method: In this study, he customers using the beauty service companies were selected, and samples for each region were allocated and a total of 300 copies of the questionnaires were distributed and recovered, among which, a sample of 239 companies were tested with hypothesis. The questionnaire survey was conducted from September 1, 2020 until December 31, 2020. Results: Hypothesis 1 which provides that the service quality has a significantly positive(+) effect on the cus-tomer satisfaction was partially adopted. Among the 4 sub-factors of the service quality, interaction service quali-ty, waiting service quality, and outcome service quality have had a statistically significantly positive effect, and the environment service quality has had a significant effect on the customer satisfaction, yet was dismissed as it turned out to have a negative(-) effect. Hypothesis 2 which provides that the service quality positively mediates the customer satisfaction between the customer loyalty turned out to have a partially mediating effect. Among the 4 sub-factors of the service quality, interaction service quality, waiting service quality, and outcome service quality among interaction service quality, waiting service quality, environment service quality, and outcome service quality turned out that the customer satisfaction between the customer loyalty has a statistically significantly positive(+) effect as to have a mediating effect, and environment service quality turned out to have a significantly negative(-) mediating effect on the cus-tomer satisfaction between the customer loyalty, but was dismissed. Conclusion: As for the results of this study, it was confirmed that interaction service quality, waiting service quality, and outcome service quality were significantly important variables for the beauty service quality. Fur-thermore, customer satisfaction is very important, and it is determined that the customer loyalty also operates positively if service workers are satisfied. However, since the beauty service provides both the tangible and intan-gible services simultaneously, the values perceived by the users of services, that is, the users tendencies, emotions, time leeway, and their expectations may vary from each other. Accordingly, special efforts made by the service providers are required to meet the service quality which the users of service seek. Hence, this study emphasizes that it is important to find venues to improve the service quality for the beauty services, which are highly depend-ent on the human services, and based on which, the satisfaction of service users was empirically reflected, and it is meaningful that it was proven as a result.

        평균변화율을 활용한 눈썹 메이크업 유형별 섹시미감성이미지 차이

        Sexiness is the image of a person who attracts attention regardless of his/her age, and today’s society has created a more positive impression by transforming the image into something others consider even more attractive. Consequently, we begin to take interest in makeup,-a means of portraying a good impression. Eyebrow makeup in particular, being at the center of the determining factor of a good facial image, can be thought of as the makeup that can most effectively transform one’s image. The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference in perceived sexiness depending on the general perception of eyebrow makeup. This study produced an eyebrow stimulus that applied the average rate of change in an image transformation of different eyebrows in order to raise the objective credibility of the sensibility evaluation so it could determine the figure of influence that eyebrows had on facial impressions. The research results showed that the majority of female university students believed that eyebrows were an effective means of expression in changing facial images and attributed a higher mature and sexy image if the average ratio of change was higher. The study, could also identify that a sexy image was perceived when the average rate of change was between 0.39~0.44. In addition, when the gradient of the shape of the viewers’ own eyebrows was low, it could be verified that they perceived an image to be sexy from seeing eyebrows with a relatively high gradient.
