      • Cut out effect on nonlinear post-buckling behavior of FG-CNTRC micro plate subjected to magnetic field via FSDT

        Jamali, M.,Shojaee, T.,Mohammadi, B.,Kolahchi, R. Techno-Press 2019 Advances in nano research Vol.7 No.6

This research is devoted to study post-buckling analysis of functionally graded carbon nanotubes reinforced composite (FG-CNTRC) micro plate with cut out subjected to magnetic field and resting on elastic medium. The basic formulation of plate is based on first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and the material properties of FG-CNTRCs are presumed to be changed through the thickness direction, and are assumed based on rule of mixture; moreover, nonlocal Eringen's theory is applied to consider the size-dependent effect. It is considered that the system is embedded in elastic medium and subjected to longitudinal magnetic field. Energy approach, domain decomposition and Rayleigh-Ritz methods in conjunction with Newton-Raphson iterative technique are employed to trace the post-buckling paths of FG-CNTRC micro cut out plate. The influence of some important parameters such as small scale effect, cut out dimension, different types of FG distributions of CNTs, volume fraction of CNTs, aspect ratio of plate, magnitude of magnetic field, elastic medium and biaxial load on the post-buckling behavior of system are calculated. With respect to results, it is concluded that the aspect ratio and length of square cut out have negative effect on post-buckling response of micro composite plate. Furthermore, existence of CNTs in system causes improvement in the post-buckling behavior of plate and different distributions of CNTs in plate have diverse response. Meanwhile, nonlocal parameter and biaxial compression load on the plate has negative effect on post-buckling response. In addition, imposing magnetic field increases the post-buckling load of the microstructure.

Software-Defined Networking Enabled Big Data Tasks Scheduling: A Tabu Search Approach

Jamali, Shahram,Soltani Siapoush, Mina,Badirzadeh, Amin 한국통신학회 2023 Journal of communications and networks Vol.25 No.1

The growth of information technology along with therevolution of the industry and business has led to the generationof an enormous amount of data. This big data needs a platformbeyond the traditional data possessing context that relies onsome computational servers communicating through a networkin its lower layer. One of the most important challenges in dataprocessing is how to transfer the big batches of data betweenthe servers to achieve fast responsiveness. Consequently, theunderlying network plays a critical role in the performanceof a big data analysis platform. Ideally, this network mustuse the shortest path that has the lowest amount of load, totransfer the large-scale data. To address this issue, we propose asoftware-defined networking (SDN) enabled scheduling methodthat uses the tabu search algorithm to schedule big data tasks. The proposed algorithm not only considers data locality butalso uses the network traffic status for efficient scheduling. Ourextensive simulative study in the Mininet emulator shows thatthe proposed scheme gives high performance and minimizes jobcompletion time.

Mineral Composition of ‘Selva’ Strawberry as Affected by Time of Application of Nitric Oxide under Saline Conditions

        Babak Jamali,Saeid Eshghi,Enayatolah Tafazoli 한국원예학회 2015 Horticulture, Environment, and Biotechnology Vol.56 No.3

The objective of present study was to evaluate the impact of time of application of nitric oxide (NO) on mineral composition of strawberry ‘Selva’ plants under saline conditions. Well-rooted daughter plants were planted in 3L plastic pots filled with 1:1 (v/v) ratio of peat moss and perlite and grown under the greenhouse conditions (21 ± 2/17 ± 2°C and RH = 60 ± 5% under natural sunlight). After full establishment of plants they were divided into 10 groups: control, plants sprayed with distilled water and exposed to 40 mM NaCl salinity stress, plants sprayed with 50 or 75 μM NO solutions under non-stress conditions, and plants sprayed with 50 or 75 μM NO solutions at three different application times, one week before, at the beginning, and one week after initiation of 40 mM NaCl salt stress. Results indicated that concentrations of macro-nutrients, Fe and Zn in shoots and roots were decreased due to salinity stress. The NO application, regardless of time of application and level, mitigated the deleterious effect of salinity on minerals uptake. Time aspect of NO application was important as plants received 75 μM NO solution, one week before initiation of salt stress had higher shoot N, K, and Ca concentration, productivity and leaf relative water content as compared with those received NO solution at the same concentration, one week after exposure to salt stress. Higher K/Na ratio of shoot was also observed in plants treated with 75 μM NO solution one week before start of salinity compared with salt-stressed, non-NO-treated plants. It seemed that time of NO application could change the strategy of plant against stress.

      • Optical Spectroscopic Analysis Techniques to Detect Elemental Profile of Human Teeth Dentine

Saifullah Jamali,Muhammad Aslam Khoso,Irfan Ali Sanjrani,Hussain Saleem,Tariq Ali Siyal,Muhammad Ashraf,Mansoor Ahmed Memon,Ghulam Murtaza,Zahid Hussain Arain,Zaheer Ahmed Ujjan,Muhammad Niaz Laghari International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2023 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.23 No.3

Numerous articles under the study and the examination of heavy metals in human teeth have been published in recent years. The heavy metal poisoning is a widespread issue emerged in toxicology area these days. It has been discovered that long-term exposure to heavy metals typically present in traces, in our everyday meals, drinking water, and in the environment as pollution causes heavy metal poisoning in human beings. Industrial effluents, Coal and Oil, as well as a variety of consumer items, such as cosmetics, can all cause this type of exposure. Teeth, which are often thought of as exoskeleton parts, store heavy metals with a high affinity and represent long-term exposure information. In this study, we have chosen and examined the sections of dentine instead, then examined the entire tooth. We have combined the work done on the examination of heavy metals in human teeth using several instrumental approaches e.g. "Optical Spectroscopic Techniques" to detect elemental profile of human teeth in the current study.

      • Comprehensive study of internal modals interactions: Comparison of various axial nonlinear beam theories

        Somaye Jamali Shakhlavi,Reza Nazemnezhad Techno-Press 2024 Advances in nano research Vol.16 No.3

The geometrical nonlinear vibrations of the gold nanoscale rod are investigated for the first time by considering the internal modals interactions using different nonlinear beam theories. This phenomenon is usually one of the important features of nonlinear vibration systems. For a more detailed analysis, the von-Karman effects, preserving all the nonlinear terms in the strain-displacement relationships of gold nanoscale rods in three displacement directions, are considered to analyze the nonlinear axial vibrations of gold nanoscale rods. It uses highly accurate analytical-numerical solutions for the clamped-clamped and clamped-free boundary conditions of nanoscale gold rods. Also, with the help of Hamilton's principle, the governing equation and boundary conditions are derived based on Eringen's theory. The influence of nonlinear and nonlocal factors on axial vibrations was investigated separately for all three theories: Simple (ST), Rayleigh (RT) and Bishop (BT). Using different theories, the effects of inertia and shear on the internal resonances of gold nanorods were studied and compared in terms of twoto-one and three-to-one internal resonances. As the nonlocal parameter of the gold nanorod increases, the maximum nonlinear amplitude occurs. So, by adding nonlocal effects in a gold nanorod, the internal modal interactions resulting from the unique structure can be enhanced. It is worth noting that shear and inertial analysis have a significant effect on internal modal interactions in gold nanorods.

Misoprostol complications in second-trimester termination of pregnancy among women with a history of more than one cesarean section

        ( Marzieh Jamali ),( Mahmood Bakhtiyari ),( Fatemeh Arab ),( Masoumeh Mirzamoradi ) 대한산부인과학회 2020 Obstetrics & Gynecology Science Vol.63 No.3

Objective This study aims to investigate the complications due to misoprostol administration for second-trimester termination of pregnancy among women with history of 2 or more cesarean scarring. Methods The cohort of this retrospective study included 678 subjects who required second-trimester pregnancy termination, from 2013 to 2015 and treated with vaginal misoprostol of 100 to 400 μg. The subjects were divided into 3 groups based on their history of cesarean sections: without a history of cesarean section, with a history of one cesarean section, and with a history of more than one cesarean section and uterine scaring. Results The results showed that the success rate of misoprostol administration for pregnancy termination was 95.72%. The rate of bleeding as a complication was significantly higher in subjects with a history of more than one cesarean section than in other participants (risk ratio [RR], 2.24; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.11-4.0). The incidence of uterine rupture was higher in the group with a history of more than one cesarean section than in other groups. However, no significant difference was observed between the groups (RR, 1.44; 95% CI, 0.27-7.6). There was a significant relationship between the need for other auxiliary treatments in the pregnancy termination and the history of uterine scarring (RR, 3.3; 95% CI, 1.23-9.1). Conclusion The present study showed that pregnancy termination using smaller divided dose of misoprostol in patients with previous history of cesarean scarring may be associated with lower incidence of uterine rupture.

Buckling analysis of nanocomposite cut out plate using domain decomposition method and orthogonal polynomials

        M. Jamali,T. Shojaee,R. Kolahchi,B. Mohammadi 국제구조공학회 2016 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.22 No.3

In this editorial, buckling analytical investigation of the nanocomposite plate with square cut out reinforced by carbon nanotubes (CNTs) surrounded by Pasternak foundation is considered. The plate is presumed has square cut out in center and resting on Pasternak foundation. CNTs are used as amplifier in plate for diverse distribution, such as uniform distribution (UD) and three patterns of functionally graded (FG) distribution types of CNTs (FG-X, FG-A and FG-O). Moreover, the effective mechanical properties of nanocomposite plate are calculated from the rule of mixture. Domain decomposition method and orthogonal polynomials are applied in order to define the shape function of nanocomposite plate with square cut out. Finally, Rayleigh-Ritz energy method is used to obtain critical buckling load of system. A detailed parametric study is conducted to explicit the effects of the dimensions of plate, length of square cut out, different distribution of CNTs, elastic medium and volume fraction of CNTs. It is found from results that increase the dimensions of plate and length of square cut out have negative impact on buckling behavior of system but considering CNTs in plate has positive influence.
