In this study, we make a study on a system to determine a person’s sitting posture by measuring the distribution of pressure in the floor of a chair or in a cushion using pressure sensors. If the wrong sitting posture is detected, a warning message is given through the vibration motor in real time to correct the imbalance of the wrong habits and posture, and prevent Bulging disc or Herniated disc.

Long-term outcomes after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair - Mean 8.7 years follow-up -
Hyeon Jang Jeong,Gyeong Pyo Nam,Sang Woo Kim,Myeong Gon Jeong,Jian Han,Bei Liu,Joo Han Oh 대한견주관절의학회 2021 대한견주관절학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2021 No.3
Introduction and Background The purpose of this study was to evaluate the long-term clinical and structural outcomes after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair (ASRCR). Material and Method Two hundred and one ASRCR patients followed-up more than 5 years postoperatively were retrospectively reviewed. To evaluate the structural integrity, MRI or ultrasonography was performed at the annular follow-up. Visual analog scale (VAS) for pain, active range of motion (aROM), and the ASES score were evaluated for the functional outcome. Results Mean follow-up period was 103.8 ± 26.5 (61-170) months. Overall healing failure rate was 21.4%, and the retraction size of supraspinatus tear was the most important risk factor of healing failure (odds ratio, OR 1.1, p < 0.001). Osteoarthritis of glenohumeral joint (OA) was progressed in 69 cases (34.3%), and it was strongly associated with healing failure (OR 4.3, p < 0.001). Both healed and healing failure group presented improved functional outcomes postoperatively, however, healing failure group presented worse pain (p = 0.001) and ASES score (p = 0.034) at the final follow-up compared to those of postoperative 1 year. To evaluate the deterioration point, minimal clinically important difference of pain (1.4) and ASES (11.1) was applied. Pain and ASES score have been worsened in healing failure group since postoperative 5.5 ± 0.5 and 7.5 ± 0.5 years, respectively. Meanwhile, pain and ASES score were maintained more than 10 years in healed group (pain 10.6 ± 0.4, ASES 12.8 ± 0.2 years), and it was statistically longer than healing failure group (all p < 0.001). Conclusions The healing of the repaired rotator cuff was important for a successful long-term outcome. OA progression was strongly associated with healing failure, and it also affected the poor long-term clinical outcome.
Using an in-plane geometry in Hebb-Wagner measurements to avoid errors from electrode overpotential
Nam, Gyeong Duk,Ahn, Jou-Hyeon,Joo, Jong Hoon Elsevier 2018 ELECTROCHIMICA ACTA Vol.260 No.-
<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A new approach has been proposed to overcome the electrode overpotential problem in the two-probe Hebb-Wagner polarization cell by dramatically increasing the shape factor of the polarization cell. To accurately estimate the electronic conductivity, a thick-film of gadolinium-doped ceria (GDC) has been fabricated using the tape casting technique, which sharply increases the shape factor of the sample. The bulk resistance of this thick-film cell is about two orders of magnitude higher than that of a bulk cell. In contrast to the bulk resistance, the electrode resistance remains nearly constant. Thus, the contribution of the electrode overpotential to the total resistance can be neglected in an in-plane geometry. The measured <I>n</I>-type conductivities (<I>σ</I> n) of GDC with the in-plane geometry are about 50% higher than those of GDC with the bulk geometry (two-probe technique), and those values are in good agreement with the values of GDC with the four-probe technique. Even though the contribution of the overpotential to the total resistance is about 50% in this study, in other cases this contribution can be much higher. This approach can reduce the contribution of the overpotential by more than two orders of magnitude by using the thick-film geometry in any case, and rule out the overpotential problem in the two-probe technique.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A new approach to overcome the overpotential problem in two-probe Hebb-Wagner technique is proposed. </LI> <LI> The in-plane measurement was employed by using a gadolinium-doped ceria (GDC) thick-film sample. </LI> <LI> The avoided error in this case is only 50%.
