In order to show the effect of a vast point pollutant source on air quality of Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant and its surrounding area, air quality around Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant was simulated by ISCLT-2 which was supplied by EPA. For this purpose the emission amount of SO_2, NO_2 and TSP was calculated and atmospheric stability was classified for a recent decade(1985~1994) in Pusan. A result of the emission amount showed that much amount of NO_2, NO_2 and TSP are emitted from industrial area. It was clear that NO_2 is much emitted from line source and industrial area. And as a result of classification of atmospheric stability, neutral, stable and unstable state were 58%, 24.1% and 17.9%, respectivly. The result of ai quality simulation by ISCLT-2 showed that Pusan Thermoeletric Power Plant is affecting on the increse of 2.0ppb, 3.0ppb and 5.0㎍/㎥, SO_2, NO_2, and TSP respectively at its surrounding area, site A-3 which was located westward 2.2㎞ distance from Plant

La pe´dagogie de l´e´crit - seule de´marche re´aliste dans l'enseignement /apprentissage des langues-cultures e´trange`re`s e´loigne´es' - semble privie´gier, depuis quelques temps, deux pistes : celle de l'interlangue de l'apprenant de la LE et celle de l'activite´ de l'apprenant e´valuateur du texte en LE lequel, dans ce cas, devra d'abord savoir lire/comprendre. Pour notre part, nous avons choisi d'e´tudier les processus mis en oeuvre par l'apprenant core´en en LE, en l'occurrence en FLE15, pour (re)construire le sens d'un texte a` l'aide des sche´mas organisationnels du texte tels qu'ils fonctionnent en LE mais en s'inspirant aussi de ses qualite´s de lecteur de´ja` compe´tent voire expert en LM16. Pour mener a` bien cette ta^che, nous avons cru bon de partir d'un postulat, a` savoir : le texte est fondamentalement 'interaction' au centre duquel 're´fe´rents', 'the`mes' et 'proce´de´s textuels' forment l'essentiel du puzzle et dont l'un des objectifs majeurs vise a` produire un changement cognitif et me^me atteindre un changement de croyances(au sens large du terme) chez le lecteur. Quant au reste de la de´marche, il part de l'hypothe`se forte selon laquelle nous soutenons qu'en fin de compte, une lecture/compre´hension de textes on LE repose, de facon pre´e´minente, sur une double activite´ : d'une part, une activite´ symbolique socio-culturellement marque´e ; d'autre part, une activite´ de production de changement cognitif/changement de croyances a` partir, pre´cise´ment, de l'mpact de la trilogie : re´fe´rents/the`mes/proce´de´s textuels sur le repre´sentations sociales pre´existantes chez le sujet lisant. Sur le terrain, d'une part, nous avons emprunte´ des textes tire´s a` la fois de la presse e´crite francaise, notamment des extraits de journal Le Monde et paralle`lement de la presse e´crite core´enne, singulie`rement le journal Chosun Ilbo, et d'autre part, nous avons travaille´ avec des e´tudiants de 3e`me et 4e`me anne´es de l'Universite´ HANKUK des Etudes Etrange`res de Se´oul et 'un groupe te´moin´ d'e´tudiants natifs francais de Deug et Licence de l'Uriversite´ de Franche-Comte´/ Besancon. Les re´sultats sont mitige´s et me^me quelques fois surprenants dans la reconnaissance de certains facteurs ge´ne´raux pre´valant dana la (re)constuction du sens notamment chez les Core´ens et chez les natifs francais s'auto-e´valuant sur le me^me texte par rapport a` certains facteurs de´terminants pour acce´der au sans.

Honey varies depending on plant origin and environmental conditions. Chemical constituents can be used to determine the origins, characteristics, and storage period of a specific honey. Styrax japonica (snowbell) honey has excellent flavor, but very few studies have been carried out on its chemical constituents. Therefore, the present study was aimed to identify chemical constituents containing in snowbell honey and to screen candidate marker compounds for predicting the storage period of snowbell honey using the identified compounds. Twelve compounds including three new compounds were purified and isolated from the snowbell honey. Three new compounds were elucidated as 1α,3β,5β-bornetriol, 7-hydroxy-2,2,6-trimethyl-1-oxaspiro[2.5]oct-5-en-4-one, and 2-benzyl-2,3-dihydroxybutanoic acid, based on ESI-MS and NMR experiments. 6,7-Dihydroxylinalool and 6,7-dihydroxygeraniol isolated as known compounds in this study were identified for the first time in snowbell honey as well as in other honeys. The isolated compounds were qualified and quantified by LC-ESI-Q-TOF-MS/ MS analysis. All compounds were detected in snowbell honeys of different production years. The levels of tyrosol, 7-hydroxy-2,2,6-trimethyl-1-oxaspiro[2.5]oct-5-en-4-one, and (–)-dihydroxyphaseic acid were lower in snowbell honey with long storage period than in short storage period, which is suggested to be used as candidate marker compounds for predicting the storage period of snowbell honey.

<P>Long-term exposure to ethanol simultaneously causes gastrointestinal inflammation, liver injury, and steatosis. In the present study, we investigated the effects of <I>Bifidobacterium longum</I> LC67, <I>Lactobacillus plantarum</I> LC27, and their mixture (LM) against ethanol-induced steatosis in mice. Exposure to ethanol caused liver damage: it increased ALT, AST, TG, TC, and lipopolysaccharide levels in the blood and induced NF-κB activation in the liver. Oral administration of LC27, LC67, or LM in mice reduced ethanol-induced ALT, AST, TG, and TC levels in the blood and liver. These also suppressed ethanol-induced NF-κB activation and α-smooth muscle actin expression in the liver and increased ethanol-suppressed AMPK activation. Treatment with LC27, LC67, or LM increased ethanol-suppressed alcohol dehydrogenase and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase activities in the liver, as well as tight junction protein expression in the liver and colon. Moreover, treatment with LC27, LC67, or LM restored the ethanol-disturbed gut microbiota composition, such as the increased population of Proteobacteria, and inhibited fecal and blood lipopolysaccharide levels. These inhibited NF-κB activation and increased tight junction protein expression in ethanol- or lipopolysaccharide-stimulated Caco-2 cells. These findings suggest that LC27, LC67, and LM can alleviate alcoholic steatosis by inhibiting LPS-mediated NF-κB activation through restoration of the disturbed gut microbiota.</P>
Magneto-crystalline anisotropy of Co/Pt thin film: Ti insertion vs capping

Magneto-crystalline anisotropy (MCA), originating from spin orbit coupling (SOC), is one of important properties for spintronics applications. Here, MCA energy (EMCA) of Co/Pt thin film with Ti insertion or capping is studied using density functional theory. For both cases, two types of stacking sequence are considered, AB- and ABC-stacking (Fig. 1). EMCA of Ti capping is twice as large as that with Ti insertion. Moreover, both cases exhibit larger EMCA in AB-stacking than ABC-stacking. MCA is investigated in the flamework of the perturbation theory, where occupation change of bands is responsible. In particular, we analyze occupation change of low lying Ti d-states for all cases. 〈그림 본문참조〉
