The influence of the asymmetric rolling process (ASR) and thickness reduction on the microstructure and mechanical propertiesof Al–Mg–Si alloys is studied. The specimens of the ASR and higher thickness reduction show higher strength (both theultimate tensile strength and yield strength) and lower elongation (El). However, both the strength and El are reduced withthe increase of the rotation speed ratio (ω1/ω2) in the specimens treated by the ASR. The grain size, density of dislocations, volume fraction of deformation texture and number density of precipitates are the main reasons causing the difference instrength and El. The increment in strength is mainly due to the increase of deformation texture, density of dislocations duringthe cold rolling and number density of precipitates formed during subsequent ageing. The reduction of volume fractionof deformation texture and number density of precipitates are responsible for the decrease of the strength in the specimenstreated by the ASR. The high-density dislocations in turn provide little room for the accumulation of dislocations and thereforereduces the EI.
The Design of Anti-aliasing Analog Filter for Data Acquisition in the Surface Measurement
Xu Jingbo,Xu Xiaohong,Yang Pengyu,Lin Haijun,Guo Xin 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.7 No.5
In the surface measurement system, the data acquisition is key part and the anti-aliasing analog filter is necessary. This paper deals with the design of the anti-aliasing analog filter. Based on the principle of anti-aliasing filtering, the parameters of filter are computed, the filter circuit is designed, and the frequency characteristic is drawn. Combined with digital filter, the filtering can maintain the low frequency components very well and suppress effectively the high frequency signals in the original surface profile, which reduces the distortion caused by noise and makes the filtering effect better. This method has been applied in the surface measurement system and the actually measured data verified the performance of the filter.

Calmodulin-like (CML) genes function in regulating plant responses to different abiotic stresses, such as high salt and drought. Using japonica type rice seedlings (‘Nipponbare’), we induced the expression of OsCML4 (Accession No. NM_001057768), which encodes a rice CML protein. Under drought conditions, transgenic plants over-expressing that gene exhibited obviously improved growth performance and higher survival rates than the wild type (WT). Activity by reactive oxygen species (ROS)- scavenging enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT), as well as proline concentrations, were significantly increased in transgenic plants. Expression by ROS scavenging-related genes APXI and Cat-B and the stress-related gene OsP5CS1 was also enhanced in the transgenics under drought conditions. However, the sensitivity to abscisic acid (ABA) was similar between over-expressing and WT plants. These results suggest that OsCML4 confers drought tolerance partially through ROS-scavenging and also by inducing other stress-related genes in an ABAindependent manner.

Objective: This study investigated the effect of fermented biogas residue (FBR) of wheat on the performance, serum biochemical parameters, and meat quality in pigs. Methods: We selected 128 pigs (the mean initial body weight was $40.24{\pm}3.08kg$) and randomly allocated them to 4 groups (1 control group and 3 treatment groups) with 4 replicates per group and 8 pigs per pen in a randomized complete block design based on initial body weight and sex. The control group received a corn-soybean meal-based diet, the treatment group fed diets containing 5%, 10%, and 15% FBR, respectively (abbreviated as FBR5, FBR10, and FBR15, respectively). Every group received equivalent-energy and nitrogen diets. The test lasted 60 days and was divided into early and late stages. Blood and carcass samples were obtained on 60 d. Meat quality was collected from two pigs per pen. Results: During the late stage, the average daily feed intake and average daily gain of the treatment groups was greater than that of the control group (p<0.05). During the entire experiment, the average daily gain of the treatment groups was higher than that of the control group (p<0.05). Fermented biomass residue did not significantly affect serum biochemical parameters or meat quality, but did affect amino acid profiles in pork. The contents of Asp, Arg, Tyr, Phe, Leu, Thr, Ser, Lys, Pro, Ala, essential amino acids, non-essential amino acids, and total amino acids in pork of FBR5 and FBR10 were greater than those of the control group (p<0.05). Conclusion: These combined results suggest that feeding FBR could increase the average daily gain and average daily feed intake in pigs and the content of several flavor-promoting amino acids.

A reactive compatibilizer containing flexible segment (RCFS) was synthesized and characterized by Fouriertransform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The RCFS was used as acompatibilizer for the preparation of lignin/polypropylene (PP) wood plastic composites, and the effect of the RCFSon the properties of composites (e.g., mechanical properties, thermal properties, crystal structure, and morphology)were investigated in detail. Experimental results indicated that the lignin/PP composite displayed the best performancewith the addition of 2 wt% RCFS. Its impact strength, flexural strength, and modulus were 56.8%, 37.3%,and 20.6%, respectively, which are higher than those of the untreated composites. Moreover, RCFS treatment couldalso increase the thermal stability, crystallization rate, and degree of crystallinity of lignin/PP composites.

The presented paper is the first attempt to apply deep learning for predicting the frequency characteristics of a magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) annular nano/microdisk (MEEAD). The optimum amount of the factors participating in the mechanism of the fully connected neural network are achieved through the optimizer based on the momentum. The positive side of the mentioned approach employed in this investigation would be due to its high accuracy along with lower epochs required for training the multi-layered network. This scrutinization would be semi-computational research that estimates the vibrational behavior of a MEEAD employing a non-classical continuum model known as the modified couple stress (MCS) model. First-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and shell model would be provided for presenting their displacement fields. Then, Kelvin-Voight theory has been applied to model the viscoelastic foundation. Its non-classical governing equations, as well as related boundary conditions (BCs) of small-scaled MEEAD, would be achieved by considering the symmetric spinning gradient along with higher-order stress tensors for the strain energy. The provided non-classical theory would be able to capture the small scale in the MEEAD employing just one length scale of a material factor, then, the mathematical modeling of MEEAD according to the classical theory would be able to be recovered from the provided model by eliminating the material length scale factor. Ultimately, the non-classical governing equations would be solved by applying the generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) approach for multifarious BCs. Moreover, parametric research has been conducted to analyze the influences of the viscoelastic foundation, length scale factor, geometry of MEE, radial and circumferential mode number, radius ratio, and BCs on the frequency behavior of the MEEAD by applying MCST. The outcomes reveal that there would be a crucial radius ratio in which the relationship between these elements and crucial inserted voltage alters from direct to indirect relation.

The exponential proliferation of cutting-edge computing technologies has spurred organizations to outsource their data and computational needs. In the realm of cloud-based computing environments, ensuring robust security, encompassing principles such as confidentiality, availability, and integrity, stands as an overarching imperative. Elevating security measures beyond conventional strategies hinges on a profound comprehension of malware's multifaceted behavioral landscape. This paper presents an innovative paradigm aimed at empowering cloud service providers to adeptly model user behaviors. Our approach harnesses the power of a Particle Swarm Optimization-based Probabilistic Neural Network (PSO-PNN) for detection and recognition processes. Within the initial recognition module, user behaviors are translated into a comprehensible format, and the identification of malicious nano-structures behaviors is orchestrated through a multi-layer neural network. Leveraging the UNSW-NB15 dataset, we meticulously validate our approach, effectively characterizing diverse manifestations of malicious nano-structures behaviors exhibited by users. The experimental results unequivocally underscore the promise of our method in fortifying security monitoring and the discernment of malicious nano-structures behaviors.
