The use of laser scanner 3D point cloud data and CAD models help for construction, monitoring and retrofitting of complex engineering objects in heavy industrial plants. Moreover, it reduces the time, effort, and cost required for the BIM process. Connecting the laser scanner generated point cloud data with physical world helps the users to find, analyze and modify the specific element of the model corresponding to the physical model. This paper presents a framework for point cloud acquisition, alignment of generated point cloud data with physical world model, adaptive 3D modeling and retrofitting. The workflow includes an efficient 4 in 1 approach, beginning with the alignment of preprocessed point cloud data with real world physical model using real time partial point cloud from LiDAR, next automated 3D model generation from point cloud data and virtual retrofitting of CAD models, finally an overlap of generated 3D models on the real environment from the camera-view is efficiently visualized using wearable VR device. The method is demonstrated in a real-world setting, using the partial point cloud from LiDAR, pre-processed real-world point cloud data and CAD models of an industrial plant.
Time Series Analysis of the Dollar/Won Exchange Rate
Raouf S. Hanna,Michael G. Vogt 서울대학교 경제연구소 1991 Seoul journal of economics Vol.4 No.4
This paper employs the sticky-price asset model (Hooper and Morton 1982) and the Sims' innovation accounting technique to assess the relative contributions of the determinants of the U.S. Dollar/Korean Won exchange rate. Monthly data during the period July 1974 through October 1988 are used in the analysis. Tests are made for stationarity and cointegration of the variables. The results indicate that in the short-run more than half of the forecast error variance of the (change in the log of the) exchange rate is due to its own innovations. The relative importance of economic fundamentals becomes greater as the forecast horizon increases. In the long-run (3 years) innovations in economic conditions account for about 70% of the forecast error variance of the exchange rate.

PPARδ Inhibits UVB-Induced Secretion of MMP-1 through MKP-7-Mediated Suppression of JNK Signaling

In the present study, we investigated the role of peroxisome proliferator–activated receptor (PPAR) δ in modulating matrix-degrading metalloproteinases and other mechanisms underlying photoaging processes in the skin. In human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs), activation of PPARδ by its specific ligand GW501516 markedly attenuated UVB-induced secretion of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-1, concomitant with decreased generation of reactive oxygen species. These effects were significantly reduced in the presence of PPARδ small interfering RNA and GSK0660. Furthermore, c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), but not p38 or extracellular signal–regulated kinase, mediated PPARδ-dependent inhibition of MMP-1 secretion in HDFs exposed to UVB. PPARδ-mediated messenger RNA stabilization of mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase (MKP)-7 was responsible for the GW501516-mediated inhibition of JNK signaling. Inhibition of UVB-induced secretion of MMP-1 by PPARδ was associated with the restoration of types I and III collagen to levels approaching those in cells not exposed to UVB. Finally, in HR-1 hairless mice exposed to UVB, administration of GW501516 significantly reduced wrinkle formation and skin thickness, downregulated MMP-1 and JNK phosphorylation, and restored the levels of MKP-7, types I and III collagen. These results suggest that PPARδ-mediated inhibition of MMP-1 secretion prevents some effects of photoaging and maintains the integrity of skin by inhibiting the degradation of the collagenous extracellular matrix.

<P>Long‐term efficacy and safety of bosutinib (≥4 years follow‐up from last enrolled patient) were evaluated in an ongoing phase 1/2 study in the advanced leukemia cohort with prior treatment failure (accelerated‐phase [AP, <I>n =</I> 79] chronic myeloid leukemia [CML], blast‐phase [BP, <I>n =</I> 64] CML, acute lymphoblastic leukemia [ALL, <I>n =</I> 24]). Fourteen AP, 2 BP, and 1 ALL patient remained on bosutinib at 4 years (vs. 38, 8, 1 at 1 year); median (range) treatment durations: 10.2 (0.1–88.6), 2.8 (0.03–55.9), 0.97 (0.3–89.2) months. Among AP and BP patients, 57% and 28% newly attained or maintained baseline overall hematologic response (OHR); 40% and 37% attained/maintained major cytogenetic response (MCyR) by 4 years (most by 12 months). In responders at 1 versus 4 years, Kaplan‐Meier (KM) probabilities of maintaining OHR were 78% versus 49% (AP) and 28% versus 19% (BP); KM probabilities of maintaining MCyR were 65% versus 49% (AP) and 21% versus 21% (BP). Most common AEs (AP, BP) were gastrointestinal (96%; 83%), primarily diarrhea (85%; 64%), which was typically low grade (maximum grade 1/2: 81%; 59%) and transient; no patient discontinued due to diarrhea. Serious AEs occurred in 44 (56%) AP and 37 (58%) BP patients, most commonly pneumonia (<I>n =</I> 9) for AP and pyrexia (<I>n =</I> 6) for BP; 11 and 13 died within 30 days of last dose (2 considered bosutinib‐related [AP] per investigator). Responses were durable in ∼50% AP responders at 4 years (∼25% BP patients responded at year 1, suggesting possible bridge‐to‐transplant role in BP patients); toxicity was manageable.Am. J.
