Purpose: The quality assurance (QA) chart rounds are multidisciplinary meetings to review radiation therapy (RT) treatment plans. This study focus on describing the changes in RT management based on QA round reviews in a single institution. Materials and Methods: After 9 full years of implementation, a retrospective review of all patients whose charts passed through departmental QA chart rounds from 2007 to 2015. The reviewed cases were presented for RT plan review; subcategorized based on decision in QA rounds into: approved, minor modifications or major modifications. Major modification defined as any substantial change which required patient re-simulation or re-planning prior to commencement of RT. Minor modification included treatment plan changes which didn't necessarily require RT re-planning. Results: Overall 7,149 RT treatment plans for different anatomical sites were reviewed at QA rounds. From these treatment plans, 6,654 (93%) were approved, 144 (2%) required minor modifications, while 351 (5%) required major modifications. Major modification included changes in: selected RT dose (96/351, 27%), target volume definition (127/351, 36%), organs-at-risk contouring (10/351, 3%), dose volume objectives/constraints criteria (90/351, 26%), and intent of treatment (28/351, 8%). The RT plans which required major modification according to the tumor subtype were as follows: head and neck (104/904, 12%), thoracic (12/199, 6%), gastrointestinal (33/687,5%), skin (5/106, 5%), genitourinary (16/359, 4%), breast (104/2387, 4%), central nervous system (36/846, 4%), sarcoma (11/277, 4%), pediatric (7/251, 3%), lymphoma (10/423, 2%), gynecological tumors (2/359, 1%), and others (11/351, 3%). Conclusion: Multi-disciplinary standardized QA chart rounds provide a comprehensive and an influential method on RT plans and/or treatment decisions.
Optical and Optoelectric Properties of PbCdS Ternary Thin Films Deposited by CBD
Mohammed, Modaffer. A.,Mousa, Ali M.,Ponpon, J.P. The Institute of Electronics and Information Engin 2009 Journal of semiconductor technology and science Vol.9 No.2
$Pb_{x}Cd_{1-x}S$ films are prepared in the composition range of 0.05${\leq}x{\leq}$0.25, using a chemical bath deposition growth technique under optimum conditions amide at realizing good photo response. The x-ray diffraction results show that the films are of PbS-CdS composite with individual CdS and PbS planes. The films exhibit two direct band gaps, 2.4 eV attributed to CdS, while the other varies continuously from 2.4 eV to 1.3 eV. The films surface morphology is smooth with crystallite, whose grain size increases with increasing mole fraction (x). The decrease in band gap with increase in lead concentration suggests inter-metallic compound of PbS (Eg=0.41 eV) with CdS (Eg=2.4 eV)

In this work CdS films were prepared by using chemical bath deposition, which is simple and inexpensive technique suitable for large deposition area. Annealing in air at different temperatures (300, 350, 400, 450 and $500^{\circ}C$) at constant time of 30 min, also for different times (15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 min) at constant temperature ($300^{\circ}C$) is achieved. X-Ray analysis has confirmed the formation of cadmium oxide (CdO) with slight increase in grain size, shift towards lower scattering angle due to relaxation in the tensile strain for deposition films, and structure change from cubic and hexagonal to the hexagonal. From electrical properties, significant increase in electrical conductivity appeared in samples annealed at $300^{\circ}C$ for 60 min, and at $350^{\circ}C$ for 30 min.

Epoxylite Influence on Field Electron Emission Properties of Tungsten and Carbon Fiber Tips
Alnawasreh, Shady S,Al-Qudah, Ala'a M,Madanat, Mazen A,Bani Ali, Emad S,Almasri, Ayman M,Mousa, Marwan S Korean Society of Microscopy 2016 Applied microscopy Vol.46 No.4
This investigation deals with the process of field electron emission from composite microemitters. Tested emitters consisted of a tungsten or carbon-fiber core, coated with a dielectric material. Two coating materials were used: (1) Clark Electromedical Instruments Epoxylite resin and (2) Epidian 6 Epoxy resin (based on bisphenol A). Various properties of these emitters were measured, including the current-voltage characteristics, which are presented as Fowler-Nordheim plots, and the corresponding electron emission images. A field electron microscope with a tip (cathode) to screen (anode) distance of 10 mm was used to electrically characterize the emitters. Measurements were carried out under ultra-high vacuum conditions with a base pressure of $10^{-6}$ Pascal ($10^{-8}$ mbar).
