Reconstruction of evenly-spaced, regular time series from routine survey serial data was investigated for precise analysis of spatio-temporal variations in a temperate sea at mid-latitudes where the seasonality dominates the interannual variability. Considering that the annual range of sea surface temperature in the Yellow Sea and the northwestern East China Sea can be as large as 15-20 ℃, temperature data collected bimonthly in these temperate seas were used for the assessment of reconstruction methodology. The cubic spline interpolation with a sampling interval of 0.5 months reconstructed the regular time series closest to the in-situ measurements among various interpolation schemes. Also, two computation methods for the interannual anomaly were compared; the residual method that the long-term monthly means are subtracted from the monthly serial data and the filtering method that high-frequency variations are removed using a low-pass filter. In that the highfrequency variations in frequencies greater than 1 cycle per year are comparable in magnitude to the interannual variation, the residual method proves inadequate in the temperate sea. Highfrequency noises can be effectively removed through the use of a proper low-pass filter with bell-shaped weights.

계층버스 다중처리기 시스템에서 캐시 일관성 프로토콜은 시스템 성능에 영향을 준다. 특정 캐시 일관성 프로토콜 하에서 시스템의 성능은 버스의 대역폭 및 메모리크기, 메모리 블록의 크기에 따라 영향을 받는다. 따라서 시스템 성능에 영향을 미치는 요소들에 대한 민감도 분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 계층버스 다중처리기에 캐시 일관성 프로토콜을 적용하고, 프로토콜에서 정의된 상태가 나타날 확률을 구하였다. 구해진 확률값을 분석적 모델에 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 하였다. 그리고 시뮬레이션 결과를 기반으로 시스템의 성능에 영향을 미치는 요소에 대한 민감도 분석을 하였다. In a hierarchical-bus multiprocessor system, cache coherence protocol has effect on system performance. Under a particular cache coherence protocol, system performance can be affected by bus bandwidth, memory size, and memory block size. Therefore sensitivity analysis is necessary for the part of multiprocessor system. In this paper, we set up cache coherence protocol for hierarchical-bus multiprocessor system, and compute probability of state of protocol, and analyze sensitivity for part of system by simulation.

This paper presents a practical restoration aid expert system for 154kV distribution substations. The proposed expert system has a topology based simple structure and it utilizes basic rules suggested by Korea electric power company including heuristic rules, topology identification rules and searching rules to generate switching sequence for feasible restoration process. In this paper, general system structure as well as rules and data representations is discussed. The expert system is realized using HP9000 workstation. X-window and Motif shell is used for user friendly GUI. It has been tested in a practical sub-control center as a part of the intelligent fault diagnosis and restoration aid system to assist decision making of SCADA operators.
