There are various ways of analysis on the Statistically Interminated Beam in machanics. But I obtained the value of the support-reaction of 2 Spans Continuous Beam, Shearing Force and the magnitude of Bending Moment, by applying the Coefficient of Friction according to the principle of superpostion equation, and compared its yielded value with that of the Support Reaction, Shearing Force and Bending Moment, without considering the Coefficient of Friction.

We have studied the magnetic and the electric properties of La_(0.8)Sr_(0.2)MnO_3 (LSMO)nanoparticle-decorated carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The magnetic susceptibility showed a paramagnetic - superparamagnetic phase transition at TSP » 200 K with a blocking temperature of T_B ∼ 120 K, which can be attributed to the LSMO nanoparticles. At T_(SP), the charge transport taking place through the CNTs network showed a metal-insulator transition (MIT) characteristic of the LSMO nanoparticles, indicating a concomitant MIT in the CNTs triggered by the LSMO nanoparticles. In the metallic phase, the charge transport appears to be dominated by a 2D weak localization effect, which at temperatures below T_B was seen to be somewhat suppressed by the internal field. At temperatures below 50 K, a Kondo effect dominates the electric and the magnetic properties.

We have investigated the half-metallicity in hydrogenated carbon nanotubes under an electric field as a function of the electric field direction by using the density functional theory calculation. We found that the electric field required for the half-metallicity can be significantly reduced by controlling the field direction and the reduction rate increases with the nanotube diameter. The field direction effect can be understood in a simple model based on the electrostatic potential difference between the spatiallyseparated edges.

This study is concerned with the elastic design of rigid frames for the minimum material consumption. This paper is devoted the selection of the member sizes so that the weight of structures with a fixed shape is optimized. The design process includes the satisfication of both stress and deflection requirements and the design constraints are formulated by using stiffness method. And also the objective function is obtained by considering total weight of the structures. In the design example, the numerical approach is employed to find the optimum values, and its results are dissussed.
Edge-state magnetism in hydrogenated armchair carbon nanotubes

We have investigated the antiferromagnetic edge states in hydrogenated carbon nanotubes by using the density functional theory calculations. The total energy difference between the antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic states, corresponding to the exchange energy gain stabilizing the antiferromagnetic state, changes by an order of magnitude by controlling the hydrogen adsorption pattern and is nearly independent of the nanotube size for a properly chosen pattern, indicating that the antiferromagnetic edge states in the real size nanotubes can be realized at high temperatures. The coexisting zigzag and bearded edges in the hydrogenated CNTs are believed to enhance the exchange energy gain.
Shubnikov-de Haas Oscillations in Proton-irradiated Graphite
이규원,김진수,이철의 한국물리학회 2011 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.59 No.5
Our study of the Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) effect in highly-oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) systems shows that low-density electrons may occupy a 3D Fermi surface and high-density holes a 2D surface in proton-irradiated HOPG while both carriers occupy a 2D Fermi surface in virgin HOPG. No massless Dirac fermions were evidenced by the SdH oscillations both in virgin HOPG and in proton-irradiated HOPG. Following the examination of the recent controversy on massless Dirac fermions in HOPG, we find that even a small amount of acceptor-like defects may play an important role in the interpretation of SdH oscillations.
