본 연구는 개인의 기질이 재택근무 속에서 일-가정 갈등과 외로움을 매개하여 우울 및 불안에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시행되었다. 최소 한 달 동안 주 1회 이상 재택근무를 하고 있는 근무자를 온라인으로 모집하여 자기보고식 질문을 실시하였고 PROCESS Macro를 통해 병렬다중매개모형을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 민첩성과 감각민감성은 재택근무 동안 일-가정 갈등과 외로움에 있어 보호요인으로 나타났다. 반면 집착성과 정서적 반응성은 일-가정 갈등과 외로움을 높여 부정적인 심리적 상태를 경험하게 하는 취약요인으로써 밝혀졌다. 이는 기질에 따라 재택근무 동안 부정적 경험 수준이 다를 수 있음을 의미하며 근무자 기질을 고려하여 근무 환경을 이해해야 함을 시사한다. 본 연구의 제한점과 의의를 논의하였다. Background: As the number of people working from home has increased since the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to understand workers’ stress and psychological state while working from home. Work-family conflict and loneliness may be related to working from home, and they could be experienced differently depending on individual traits. Therefore, this study examined the parallel multiple mediating effects of work-family conflict and loneliness in the relationship between personal temperaments and negative emotions such as depression and anxiety. Methods: Data were collected online from people currently working from home for at least one month, more than once per week. They answered K-DASS-21, UCLA loneliness scale, Work-Family Conflict, and FCB-TI. Only four temperaments were used in the statistic step: Briskness and Sense sensitivity as protective factors and Perseveration and Emotional reactivity as vulnerable factors. The multiple mediating effects were analyzed independently by using the PROCESS macro. Results: Firstly, Briskness and Sense sensitivity were found to negatively affect depression and anxiety while working from home by significantly mediating work-family conflict and loneliness. Thus, these temperaments would be protective factors while working from home. Secondly, Perseveration and Emotional reactivity positively influenced both negative emotions by mediating two mediation variables, which means that both temperaments are vulnerable factors. Conclusions: The results suggest that personality traits can impact how people experience stress and negative emotions in working situations, leading to negative psychological states. Consequently, personal temperaments would be important to understand relationships between environments and internal experiences.

Silkworm-derived silk materials which contain 45 to 55% protein (18 amino acids, including 8 essential amino acids) have free radical-scavenging activities. In the present study, we investigated the whitening and anti-aging effects of silkworm gland under various conditions with B16F1 melanoma cells and human dermal fibroblasts. To evaluate the toxicity of soluble gland hydrolysate (SGH), mouse-derived B16F1 melanoma cells were treated with 0.2~5 mg/mL, cytotoxicity was not observed at all concentrations. The tyrosinase and elastase activities were significantly decreased as dosage levels of SGH increased. In addition, cell death was decreased by treated with SGH and antioxidative activity was the most effective in the SGH treatment. These findings suggest that SGH may be used as a potential functional biomaterial in having the skin whitening effect and anti-aging activity by inhibition of tyrosinase and elastase activities.

본 연구는 기질에 따라 근로자 유형을 구분하고, 각 유형 별 시간관리행동과 삶의 질, 일과 삶의 균형에 차이가 있는지 알아보고자 했다. 이를 위해 근로자 216명을 대상으로 설문을 실시한 자료를 분석했다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기질에 따라 근로자를 세 가지 군집으로 분류할 수 있었다. 둘째, 각 군집은 시간관리행동, 삶의 질, 일과 삶의 균형에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 기질에 따라 업무 환경에서 심리적 적응이 달라진다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 근로자의 심리적 적응 및 업무 효율성을 증진하기 위해 기질 특성을 고려하는 것이 중요함을 시사한다. Background: Temperament plays an important role in adapting to different environments. The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences between temperament clusters, time management behavior, quality of life, and work-life balance. Methods: A total of 216 participants (male=56, female=160, mean age: 31.92 years) completed questionnaires measuring temperament, time management behavior, quality of life, and work-life balance. Results: Data from the study shows that temperamental profiles are classified into three groups. The profile of “Adaptive Solver” was associated with the most beneficial traits, and that of “Chronic Worrier” was associated with the most disadvantageous traits. Conclusions: The findings of this study confirm that temperaments are related to psychological adjustment. This study provides an implication for considering individual differences in the intervention for psychological adaptation of workers.
Silicon Carbide (SiC) 복합방적사로부터 제조된 원단의 방화복 활용 가능성에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 1500℃ 이상의 극한 열 환경에서 사용되는 소재인 SiC (silicon carbide) 섬유를 복합방적사로 제조한 후에 원단을 제직하고 제직된 원단의 역학적 특성을 KES-FB system으로 측정하고 측정된 역학적 특성 값으로부터 착용성능을 분석하여 방화복으로의 활용 가능성을 알아보았다. 그 결과 직물의 역학적 특성에서는 인장선형성(LT)과 인장레질리언스(RT), 전단강성(G)을 나타내는 값이 원사의 제조형태에 따라서 그 특성 값의 차이를 보였으며, 직물의 두께와 평량, 밀도 값이 전단히스테리시스(2HG)와 압축레질리언스(RC) 값에 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 의복착용 성능에서는 착용 시 부피감을 나타내는 두께에 대한 압축에너지의 비(WC/T) 값에서 SiC 복합방적사로 제조된 직물의 값이 가장 우수한 값을 타나내었으며, 방염성능에서는 SiC 복합방적사로 제조된 직물이 탄화길이와 잔염시간에서 KFI 성능기준을 만족하여 방화복으로서의 활용이 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다. The mechanical properties of a woven fabric made of SiC (silicon carbide) fibers were determined in this study using the KES-FB system. The woven fabric is used in high heat settings above 1500℃. Composite spun yarns were used to create SiC fibers. By analyzing the wearing properties, we studied the prospect of using the textiles as fire-retardant work clothes. Mechanical properties determine the wearing attributes. Therefore, the tensile linearity (LT), tensile resilience (RT), and shear stiffness (G) values of the fabric varied according to the yarn type (filament or spun yarn). The thickness, weight per square meter, and density of the fabric were found to have an effect on the shear hysteresis (2HG) and compression resilience (RC) values. In terms of wearable clothing qualities, the fabric qualities of the SiC composite yarn demonstrated the highest ratio of compressive energy to thickness (WC/T), which indicates bulkiness. The fabric manufactured from SiC composite yarns passed the KFI criteria for carbonation length and cumulative flame time in the flame-retardant test. Therefore, we discovered that the material can be used as a fire-resistant work cloth.
