Irregular fluctuation of penetration depth in CW single mode fiber laser welding is analyzed statistically and chaotically. Among various chaos theories, one of the basic concept referred as Lyapunov exponent is applied to the analysis to quantify the irregularity of penetration. Especially, maximal Lyapunov exponent (MLE) is known as the representative value indicating chaotic degree of the system dynamics. MLE calculation method of experimental data is applied to longitudinal spiking defect in fiber laser weld. Laser power modulation is suggested as a remedy then the computed MLE value is compared to CW case. It is shown that the adoption of chaos theory, MLE computation, can be used as a measurement standard to prove the validity of the solutions to prevent the unexpected chaotic behavior of weld through this work.
천연가스 냉각을 위한 1단 냉동과 2단 냉동 사이의 비교연구

본 연구에서는 천연가스의 온도를 -40˚C까지 냉각시키기 위해서 프로판을 냉매로 사용한 1단 냉동과 2단 냉 동 사이의 비교연구를 수행하였다. 열역학 모델식으로는 Peng-Robinson 상태방정식을 적용하였으며, 냉동 사이클의 전산모사를 위해서 Invensys사의 PRO/II with PROVISION 8.3을 활용하였다. 본 연구에서로부터 2단 압축 냉동 사이 클을 최적화한 결과 1단 압축 냉동 사이클에 비해서 압축기의 소요동력을 33.5% 가량 줄일 수 있었다. In this study, a comparative study was performed between one- and two-stage refrigeration system to cool the natural gas temperature down to -40˚C using propane as a chilling medium. As a thermodynamic model, Peng-Robinson equation of state equation was applied and PRO/II with PROVISION release 8.3 at Invensys company was utilized for the simulation of the refrigeration system. Through this study, optimization work showed that two-stage refrigeration system was proven to save about 33.5% refrigeration power consumption compared to the one-stage refrigeration cycle.
여성들에 있어서 Bench Stepping 운동 프로그램이 내분비계 대사에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of 8 week bench stepping exercise on epinephrine, norepinephrine, cortisol, glucagon, and insulin in college female. Twelve study subject were participated in this study andbench stepping was performed 3 times per week and the duration of exercise was increased by 2 minutes every week, and the height of bench was also increased by 5 ㎝ every other week. Therefore, the intensity of the exercise was increased gradually but the cadence was constant as 28 times per minute. Blood sampling was performed in the morning(9-11 AM) after an overnight fast and the sampled blood were analyzed by HPLC analysis and competitive RIA method using HPLC (system by BIO-RAD) and δ -counter (COBRA 5010 Quantum, COBRA 5010 Ⅱ) respectively. SPSS statistic program was used to manage the experiment data and t-test was used for analysis of significant difference of the hypothesis. The result of 8 week bench stepping exercise showed that there was no significant difference on cortisol and insulin although epinephrine, norepinephrine, and glucagon showed significant difference between pre-exercise and post-exercise(p<.05). In conclusion, 8 week bench stepping exercise has a positive effect on endocrine metabolism in females. Further studies considering the age, the condition of fitness and body compositionare recommended.
GTL 공정에서 아민 수용액을 이용한 이산화탄소 제거공정의 전산모사에 대한 연구

본 연구에서는 GTL (Gas To Liquids) 파일럿 공정의 설계를 위한 아민 수용액을 이용한 이산화탄소 제거공 정에 대한 전산모사를 수행하였다. 이산화탄소 제거를 위한 용매로써 30wt% DEA(diethanol amine) 수용액을 사용하 였으며, 공정 배열은 흡수탑과 탈거탑의 2기의 column을 사용하였다. 전산모사를 위해서 Invensys사의 PRO/II with PROVISION 9.0을 사용하였으며 열역학 모델식으로는 amine special package내의 Kent-Eisneberg 모델식을 사용하였 다. 전산모사를 통해서 이산화탄소 제거공정에 대한 열 및 물질수지를 도출하였으며, 흡수탑과 탈거탑에 대한 충진탑 의 직경과 높이를 산출하였다. In this study, a computer simulation work has been performed for the carbon dioxide removal process using aqueous amine solution in the GTL (Gas To Liquids) process. 30wt% DEA(diethnaol amine) aqueous solution was utilized as a carbon dioxide remvoal agent and an absorber-stripper two-columns configuration was used. Kent-Eisenburg modeling equation built-in amine specicial package was used for the modeling of the carbon dioxide removal process. PRO/II with PROVISION 9.0, a commercial process simulator was used. Through this simulation study, heat and material balance was obtained and packing column diameter and column height were also estimated.
