남한 중부지역에서 발생한 미소지진의 단층면해와 응력장 해석

1997년 12월 이후 남한 중부지역에서 방생한 지진 중 13개 지진에 대하여, 지역에 따라 5개 그룹으로 구분하여 P 파 극성을 이용하여 구한 복합단층면해와 P, S파 극성 및 진폭비(SV/P, SH/P, SV/SH)를 이용하여 구한 결과를 비교 해석하였다. 지진원에서의 단층운동은 NNE-SSW와 WNW-ESE 방향의 단층면을 나타내며 주향이동 혹은 역단층성 주향이동운동이 우세하게 나타났다. 단층운동에 작용한 주압축응력방향은 ENE-WSW 방향, 혹은 NE-SW 방향을 나타내며, 이는 남한지역에 발생하는 주요 지진에 대하여 구해진 주압축 응력장 방향과 거의 일치한다. By using two methods we obtained plane solutions for 5 groups of earthquakes including 13 events, which occurred in the central region of South Korea after December 1997. The first method is the composite fault plane solution by P wave polarity, and the second the solution by amplitude ratio (SV/P, SH/P, SV/SH) and P and S wave polarities. The two method results show similar results. The strike of fault is in the direction of NNE-SSW and WNW-ESE with the movement of strike-slip or strike-slip including thrust component. The compressional axis of the stress field dominantly trends ENE-WSW or NE-SW. The results are almost consistent with the other main events occurred in and around the Korean Peninsula.

The latch-up current and switching characteristics of MOS-Controlled Thyristor(MCT) are studied with variation of the channel length and impurity concentration. The proposed MCT power device has the lateral structure and P-epitaxial layer in substrate. Two dimensional MEDICI simulator is used to study the latch-up current and forward voltage-drop from the characteristics of I-V and the switching characteristics with variation of impurity concentration. The channel length and impurity concentration of the proposed MCT power device show the strong affect on the anode current and turn-off time. The increase of impurity concentration in P and N channels is found to give the increase of latch-up current and forward voltage-drop.

It is very important, if necessary, to remotely monitor and control the body conditions and behavior of livestock as well as the environment of stall using ubiquitous ict, in order to improve the health and productivity of livestock. With the aim of developing a stall management system, this study investigated users' needs, analyzed them to design systems, developed a web-system and an app for stall management, then applied them to a test-bed. The use of the app developed will make it easy for livestock farmers to easily monitor and control environment of stall using their smartphones and allow them to take care of stall more efficiently.

The Yangsan fault in the southeastern Korea has been receiving increasing attention in its seismic activity. In this fault region, by using the extended coda-normalization method for 707 seismograms of local earthquakes, were obtained 0.009f$^{-1.05}$ and 0.004f$^{-0.70}$ for fitting values of Q$_p^{-1}$ and Q$_s^{-1}$, respectively. These results indicate that Q$_p^{-1}$ and Q$_s^{-1}$ in the southeastern Korea is the lowest level in the world although the exponent values agree well with those in the other areas. The low Q-1 is not related to the movement of the Yangsan fault but to the tectonically inactive status like a shield area. 지진발생 가능성이 높은 것으로 알려져 있는 한국 남동부 양산단층 지역에 대하여 707 미소지진자료기록에 대하여 Coda 확장규격화법을 적용할 경우, 회귀선값이 Q$_p^{-1}$는 0.009f$^{-1.05}$, Q$_s^{-1}$는 0.004f$^{-0.70}$로 나타난다. 이를 세계 여러지역에서의 조사연구와 대조하여 본 결과, 회귀선식의 지수값은 세계 여러 다른지역과 매우 유사한 반면, Q$_p^{-1}$ 및 Q$_s^{-1}$ 값은 가장 낮은 수준이다. 활성단층과 연관된 지각의 균열을 시사하는 높은 Q$^{-1}$ 값은 한국 남동부에서는 찾아지지 않았으며, 도출된 값은 오히려 순상지와 같이 지진학적으로 안정한 지역과 대응된다.

The rapid environmental change in the market has limited the competitive advantage of the company's management strategy. Therefore, companies are preparing new alternatives in customer relations and social reputation such as innovation, change, communication with consumers, etc. The purpose of this study is to classify culture types and to examine the influence of culture types and management performance on resort companies. The result of this study are as follow : Corporate culture is divided into five factors and management performance has two factors Some influences were found between the mutual factors. As a result, there was some influence between corporate culture and management performance. Since the sample of this study was limited to a certain sized company, It is difficult to generalize the results. In future research, it is necessary to classify the type of corporate culture into detailed units and to study management performance based on quantitative data other than service orientation and productivity.

2017년 11월 15일 포항지진(규모 5.4)은 깊이효과로 경주지진(규모 5.8) 보다 피해가 더 컸으나, 정확한 깊이가확증되지 않고 있다. 진원 깊이를 진원재결정을 통하여 역산한 결과, 대부분의 모델의 진원 깊이가 얕은 표층으로 도출된 반면, 지각구조가 가장 근접한 모델은 6.0 ~ 11.5 km 구간의 깊이로 산출되었다. 지온분석에서는 7.5 km 근방에서300oC의 온도가 관찰되어 지진유발층의 사례에 입각한 포항지진의 진원은 근접한 모델로 얻어진 7 km 근방인 것으로 추정되어진다. 2017 Pohang earthquake (M 5.4) was more disastrous than 2016 Gyeongju earthquake (M 5.8), partly because of its shallow focal depth. However, precise focal depth of Pohang earthquake is still controversial. Close crustal model showed 6 ~ 11.5 km in relocation depth, whereas other models showed almost surface range. Geothermal study indicated temperature of 300oC at depth of 7.5 km. Related with observations of seismogenic layer, the focal depth of Pohang earthquake seems to be 7 km depth as obtained by close model
Technical Essentials of the Earth’s Free Oscillation Mode Computation

Theory of Earth’s free oscillation is revisited. Firstly, we summarized the underlying formulations, such as the equation of motion and its conversion into numerically integrable form and then explained computational procedures including the treatment of inner core-outer core boundary and core-mantle boundary, while the latter information has not been explicitly given in most publications. Secondly, we re-calculated the periods of Earth’s free oscillation modes (period >200 s) for PREM model. In doing so we acquired the values of modes missing in Dziewonski and Anderson (1981). As a case observation, one seismogram after 2011 Tohoku earthquake recorded at Daejeon, Korea (KIGAM seismic station) was briefly analyzed to identify free oscillation mode excitations on its spectra. The material in this article will be most clear guide for those on calculating the Earth’s free oscillation mode.
