Sally Potter's Orlando is a film which deals with a mysterious man/woman Orlando, an androgyny. He(she) lived for 400 years, which once he(she) was a man, and then became a woman. This film is different from Woolf's novel in the manner of adaptation that the film emphasizes a contemporary woman on the contrary the novel does not. The film interprets a novel in terms of gender and modem feminism. Gender theme is central in this film, because it is strongly connected to the theme of androgyny(hermaphrodite). Also, this film is interpreted with the mythological criticism. Orlando him(her)self in the fiction is a mythic figure per se. His(her) longevity for 400 years and sexual transformation are ambiguous, mysterious, and mythic. According to Gilbert Durand, mythological criticism has a scientific method searching for the mythic pattern or kernel in the written narrative text. Also, he states two kinds of approach. One is a textual analysis dated from literary tradition, the other is a mythic interpretation with mythic event or sequence dissected from the myth in the light of contemporary view. Androgyny metaphor in the myth is smeared as Orlando figure in the Woolf's work with her own imagination as woman's life itself. Also, this film relates many mythic imaginations: hermaphroditus in Greek mythology, androgynic God in archaic India, alchemy in Taoist and Arabia, and collective unconsciousness with anima/animus in Carl Jung.

재생에너지(태양광, 풍력) 기술의 온실가스 감축산정: 국내를 대상으로

This study estimates the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction resulting from photovoltaic and wind power technologies using a bottom-up approach for an indirect emission source (scope 2) in South Korea. To estimate GHG reductions from photovoltaic and wind power activities under standard operating conditions, methodologies are derived from the 2006 IPCC guidelines for national GHG inventories and the guidelines for local government greenhouse inventories of Korea published in 2016. Indirect emission factors for electricity are obtained from the 2011 Korea Power Exchange. The total annual GHG reduction from photovoltaic power (23,000 tons CO_2eq) and wind power (30,000 tons CO_2eq) was estimated to be 53,000 tons CO_2eq. The estimation of individual GHGs showed that the largest component is carbon dioxide, accounting for up to 99% of the total GHG. The results of estimation from photovoltaic and wind power were 63.60% and 80.22% of installed capacity, respectively. The annual average GHG reductions from photovoltaic and wind power per year per unit installed capacity (MW) were estimated as 549 tons CO_2eq/yr·MW and 647 tons CO_2eq/yr·MW, respectively. Finally, the results showed that the level of GHG reduction per year per installed capacity of photovoltaic and wind power is 62% and 42% compared to the CDM project, respectively.

한국형 육군 전술데이터 링크체계 구현 방향 연구

The Tactical Data Link System is a standardized communication link to exchange and interface positional, situational information, command and control in real time. It has been evaluated that this Link would play an important role for tactical interoperability, situation awareness, and execution of joint operations in the future war. But considering the rapidly changing war situations, even though being admitted the necessity of the Tactical Data Link System of Army helicopter, one of superpowers in the Army, substantially we don't still have any concrete concept to build it. Therefore, this work presents how to embody the Tactical Data Link System through computer-aided system engineering on the base of Tactical Data Link System operating concept analysis of helicopters-ground units.

JPEG2000을 위한 스칼라양자화 및 컨텍스트 추출부 IP 설계 및 구현

With the increasing use of multimedia technologies, image compression requires higher performances as well as new feature. To address this need in the specific area of still image encoding, a new standard is currently being developed, the JPEG2000. In this paper^(2), we propose scalar quantization and context extractior IP's architecture for JPEG2000 design as well as design and verify the IP's of its functional blocks. IP of each block is performed the software simulation to verity the validity of implemental structure, and then designed a HDL code according to 'RTL Coding Guideline' presented by SIPAC(System Integration & Intellectual Property Authoring Center). The designed IP's are implemented and verified on the Xillinx million gate FPGA test board and are fabricated to IDEC MPW chip by using Hynix 0.35㎛ library.

〈나의 장미빛 인생 Ma Vie en Rose〉 (벨기에, 알렝 베를리네, 1997)에 나타난 트렌스젠더서사(transgender narative)분석

The phenomena of gender blending in modern cinema is very complicated nowadays that they are not simply considered as the circumstances which is an issue of homo/heterosexuality. When social phenomenon and ideology from the reality are reflected in the image and its representation of screen, it is valuable that we should concentrate on analysing the film texts with more attentions. The transgender narrative film that I am going to take is on the backdrop of the transsexual culture, not with the direct representation of transsexual story. However, the reason why I call it 'transgender narrative' is comes from the fact that the protagonist in the film is going through the process of gender bending and the material of it is the same as that the story is the transsexual's progress. The purpose of this thesis is to interpret the meaning of cultural phenomena by way of dissecting the transgendered narrative structure. It can be descriptive that we take into account the concepts of Freudian psychoanalysis and Jungian analytical psychology, because the transgender is based upon psychological contemplations. We, in conclusions, are up to a point the interpretation to the phenomena of transgender, which is an altemative against the gendercentrism in society now. It has been clear that the transgender narrative is arised as an alternative against the coercive gender-centered society and it means the spontaneous eruption to human nature in general. The cultural trend of transgender is interpreted by way of psychological approaches, and it is also interpreted as the meaning of Freudian pre-oedipal psychology and Jungian 'opposite conjunction' rooted in androgyny theory. Even though it is not taken the whole in the thesis, I will expand the area of interpretation in terms of the idea which is stems from orient's 'yin(陰)/yang(陽)' principle, 'Tao(道)' concept is consisted of 'seung(性)/myung(命)' thoughts. If doing so, we are to conclude to overcome the narrow margin of western rationalism which had been passed up to now and to establish the new scope about universal human nature in inner state.

강우 시 중랑천 유역의 수질(T-P, T-N, COD_Mn, SS, BOD₅)변화 특성

중랑천 상류에서 하류 방향으로 4개 지점을 선정하여 3회의 강우 사상에 대하여 수질변화 특성을 조사하였다. 강우시 CODMn, SS와 BOD5 농도는 증가하고, T-N은 감소하고, T-P는 경향성이 뚜렷하게 나타나지는 않았으며, 경향성은 강우량과 강우강도 증가에 따라 더욱 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 누적 강우량과 수질항목별 단순회귀 분석 결과, T-N을 제외하고 전체적으로 양의 상관성을 갖는 것으로 나타나서 T-N은 누적강우량이 커질수록 농도가 감소하는 것으로 나타났고, 다른 항목들은 농도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 시간당 평균 강우강도와 수질항목별 단순회귀분석 결과, R2값이 전체적으로 약 0.483~0.992 범위의 대체적으로 폭 넓은 결정계수를 나타났으며, 강우강도가 강할수록, T-P와 T-N은 상류 유입, CODMn은 중류 및 하류유입, SS는 상류에서 하류 방향으로의 점진적 증가 유입, 그리고 BOD5는 상류에서 하류 방향으로의 점진적 감소 유입이 되는 것으로 판단되었다. 유량과 수질항목별 단순회귀 분석을 실시한 결과, 중랑천 상류가 유량의 증가와 함께 수질오염도가민감하게 반응하는 것으로 나타났다. Water quality variations were investigated at 4 locations of Jungrang river (upper, middle and lower basins) during aperiod of 3 rainfall events. During the rainfall, concentrations of CODMn, SS and BOD5 significantly increased, while the concentrationof T-N decreased and that of T-P remained relatively constant. This pattern became more apparent as the level of accumulativeprecipitation and rainfall intensity increased. Simple regression analysis showed that the accumulative precipitation was positivelycorrelated with all water quality pollutants except for T-N. With increasing accumulative precipitation, the concentration of T-Ndecreased, while the others increased. R2 of simple regressions of hourly average rainfall intensity and water quality pollutants,showed wider range of variation ranged from 0.483 to 0.992, which indicated a strong correlation. The stronger the hourly averagerainfall intensity, the more T-N and T-P in the upper basin, more CODMn in the middle and lower basins, more SS with gradualincrease from upper to lower areas, and more BOD5 with gradual decrease from upper to lower region. Simple regression showedthat water quality pollution in the upper basin was more sensitive to an increase of rainfall discharge than that in the middle and lower areas.

피복두께에 따른 초고강도 콘크리트에 매립된 철근의 부착특성

An experimental study was conducted to evaluate the bond characteristics of reinforcing bars embedded in ultra high-strength concrete. Key variables included bar diameter(19mm, 22mm, 25mm) and concrete cover(30mm, 40mm, 50mm). The concrete strength was kept equal strength(150Mpa) at each specimen and confining of bar space effect were not taken into account. Nine specimens subjected to uniaxial tension were tested under hypothesis uniform bond stress distribution along the reinforcing bar embedded in concrete. The result showed that as the bar diameter was smaller and smaller, maximum bond strength was bigger and bigger. Therefore the concrete covers have affected to the bond strength. 40mm concrete cover has a higher strength than 30mm. After comparing with ACI and Zsutty theory is more appropriate to the experiment result by 1.29 times of the result.

박찬욱 감독의 국제적 평가에 관한 연구

Asian Films are received as the work is perceived in terms of Orientalism in Western film sphere. Especially, self-orientalized films are devoted to vitalize the promotion of internationality, used as strategy for. Lim Kwon Tack, Kitano Takeshi are the representative of that strategy. Also, so called "in-between zone" directors are linked to the arthouse distribution system and became international labelling, to be posted in symbiosis of foreign film markets. Though Chan-Wook Park is categorized in "in-between zone" directors, then being circled in Westernized perspective of Orientalism, he shows exceptionality without Orientalism trends. Notwithstandingly, Park is conceived as the figure who maintains his own internationality in the context that he uses Western sensibility and modernistic style. He at first gained some pejorative name so called "Tarantino of the East" via Oldboy, then, after that he became the object on further studies with questions of his peculiarity transmitted to both sphere, East and West. Park is tested as enduror to repetition. Stoker 2012, the first Hollywood making would be the watershed moment of his future. In spite of his longing for directing it is sure that he is legend now.

The world is changing, Korea is in the middle of the road which is up to the development of culture industry, high profittable industry. The key words of culture industry are the movie ``Avatar`` and I-phone. ``Avatr`` is not simply the conventionally technical film, rather is a phenomenon for hybrid with cutural and technomogical values which is from technologies such as 3D, computer graphics, compositing, and virtual realities. Also, I-phone is not just a receiver, but a surprise as a portal for any contents within small pc, lap top, and game station. The creation of ``Avatar`` and I-phone has the fuction for developing the related culture industries. Their profitabilities are enormous. It has been a long time that The Korea has plunged into the competative market vying for forerunner in the line of digital industry or culture industry. But the question of this paper is whether the proper education is put on this area or not and then the purpose of this essay to pinpoint the blind spot, to anlalyse the cause, and to present the alternative to reality. The author doesn`t have any intentions to harm technological development. The development of technology is unstoppable because it`s a direction to contemporary civilization and profitable pursuit for industry. Even it does not only mean to interrupt the technological development but also to have the conviction that the raising a queston is necessary and positive for how it is proper way to culture creation.
