생태학적 디자인을 기반으로 한 식물제품 디자인 프로세스에 관한 연구

자연과 인간이 공생하던 시대에서 문명의 발달로 인한 인구의 증가와 급속한 도시화는 현대인의 삶을 급격히 변화시키고 있다. 제한된 지구 환경의 보존과 지속가능한 개발을 위해 다양한 분야와 학제간의 연구로 대안적 방법들이 제시되고 있다. 그러나 산업디자인, 그 중에서도 제품디자인 분야에서는 여전히 기업의 경제적인 이익을 최대 가치로 보고 대량생산과 대량소비, 대량 폐기에 따른 폐해를 묵인하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 생태적 가치와 경제적 가치는 공존할 수 없다는 인식으로부터, 경제적인 생태가치로의 인식전환을 위해 산업 디자인 역시 새로운 가치기준에 부합한 방법의 연구와 대안을 제시해야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 여러 가지 이름으로 불리는 생태학적 디자인을 재분류하고, 생태학적 디자인의 기반에서 식물을 활용한 제품디자인의 위치를 설정하였다. 식물을 활용한 제품 디자인에 최적화된 새로운 프로세스를 제안함으로써, 제품 디자인 영역의 확장에 따른 경제적 가치와, 인간과 환경의 회복을 통한 생태적 가치를 모두 담아낼 수 있도록 하였다. 미래의 필요를 저해하지 않으면서 현재의 필요를 충족시키는 지속가능한 디자인이 더 많은 산업디자이너들에 의해 시도되어야 할 것이다. In the era where natural and man-made civilizations were developed, the increase in population due to the development of civilization and rapid urbanization rapidly changed the lives of modern people. Alternative methods are being proposed for research and development in various fields for conservation and sustainable development of finite environments. Still, it is true that industrial design, especially in the field of industrial design, is still at greatest value in terms of the biggest value of corporate economic interests, mass consumption, mass consumption and mass destruction. From the perception that ecological values and economic values can coexist, the industrial design should also provide a way to suggest that the industrial design is compatible with the new value of economic ecology. The study classified the ecological design of various names, and established the location of the product design using the basis of ecological design on the basis of ecological design. By proposing new processes optimized for product designs, it allowed economic value and improved ecological value through the expansion of product design zones and the ecological value of the human environment.A sustainable design should be attempted by more industry designers without compromising the need for future necessities.

지구 온난화 및 미세먼지 증가로 인해 악화된 도시 환경을 개선하기 위하여, 식물 적용에 대한 다양한 방법들이 모색되고 있다. 본 연구는 인공지반에 적용할 수 있는 녹다운(knock-down)방식의 식물 식재시스템 디자인에 관한 것이다. 기존의 알루미늄 프로파일을 이용한 조립구조형식의 플랜터는 제품의 생산, 운송, 설치 등 각 단계별로 발생할 수 있는 자원소비와 휨, 나사의 부식, 조립 해체의 어려움 등 기술적 문제점을 지닌다. 기존 플랜터의 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 부품종류 및 수량을 간소화하고, 반제품상태로 분리하여 평면화시킨 녹다운방식의 식재시스템을 도입하였다. 본 연구의 녹다운 방식의 식재시스템은 공장조립의 완제품에 비해 부피를 절감하여 운송비용의 감소 효과가 있으며, 비전문가에 의해서도 동일한 완성도를 기대할 수 있다. 운송과 설치가 간단한 시스템을 이용하여 다양한 식물의 특성을 반영한 디자인을 통해, 도시의 옥상을 포함한 인공지반에 더 많은 식물을 도입할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. Today the urban environment is getting worse due to global warning, the phenomenon of urban heat and fine dust increase hence, Plants is receiving attention and the demand of using the plants are increasing as a method for protecting from these problems. The urban environment is getting worse because of global warming, urban heat island phenomenon, and increase in fine dust, and demand for plant use is increasing. The aim of this study is to develop a design of plant planting system using by knock-down method which is easily able to assemble and installation in artificial ground landscaping (urban greening). This study suggests a planter design that is able to solve the common problems that are normally occurred from a planter design which has an assembly structure of aluminium profile type such as bending, corrosion of screws, assembly, dismantling, and so on. Moreover, this study suggests a design that is able to cultivate variety plants by few components. The improving design by the knock-down method will be able to decrease transport expense by reducing volume compare with an existing transport method for finished goods. Furthermore, the design can assemble easily by nonprofessional people on the spot. As a result, the design proposal of this study is to decrease harmful effects of environment by production, transportation, and installation as steps and also to reduce resources waste and labor cost. It is expected that more plants will be introduced to artificial ground including the city's rooftop via a simple knock-down green system which is easy to transport and install.

농업교육과 디자인융합을 위한 6차 산업 AGRI-design 개념모형의 제안

COVID-19 이후 식량공급과 환경위기 상황에서 농업의 중요성은 더욱 강조되고 있다. 농업은 식량 안보뿐 아니라 환경보존, 농촌의 경관, 농촌 활력의 유지, 전통문화의 유지와 계승 등 공익적 가치와 다원적 기능을 가지고 있다. 최근 현대 농업은 6차 산업으로 변화하고 있다. 6차 산업이란 재배 위주의 1차 산업, 농산물 가공과 제조의 2차 산업, 유통이나 서비스와 같은 3차 산업을 모두 아우른 개념이다. 농업은 다양한 산업의 형태로 발전하고 그에 따른 디자인의 역할이 시급하다. 그러나 농업과 디자인이라는 이종학문 간의 소통이 원활하지 않아 발전의 속도를 따라잡지 못하고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 논문은 국내외 대학과 국내의 농업인을 위한 디자인 교육현황을 살펴보고, 농업과 디자인이 융합할 수 있는 아이템을 개발하여 산업 영역의 확장 가능성을 제시하였다. 6차 산업으로 불리는 새로운 농업 환경과 디자인 분야의 협업에서 원활한 소통이 가능하도록 ‘AGRI-design’ 개념모형을 제안하고자 한다. Agriculture is even more important in the face of food supply and environmental crisis after COVID-19. Agriculture has not only food security, but also public interest values and plural functions such as preservation of the environment, rural landscape, maintenance of rural vitality, and maintenance and succession of traditional culture. Recently, modern agriculture is turning into a sixth industry. The sixth industry is a combination of the primary industry focused on cultivation, the secondary industry of agricultural processing and manufacturing, and the tertiary industry such as distribution and service. Agriculture develops into a variety of industrial forms and therefore the role of design is urgently needed. However, because agriculture and design are different, communication is not smooth and they are not keeping up with the speed of development. For this reason, this study examines the current status of design education for domestic and foreign universities and domestic farmers. In addition, it identified items that can be combined with agriculture and design, suggesting the possibility of expansion of the industrial sector. This study aims to propose an 'AGRI-design' concept model to facilitate smooth communication in collaboration in the new agricultural environment and design field.
