      • 제초제(propanil. butachlor) 저항성 잡초 선발 방법에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to develop a simple selection method for herbicide-resistance weeds. Two methods, designated "seedling method" and "stem node method" were employed for screening of barnyardgrass against propanil and butachlor. In the seedling method, shoot and root growth of barnyardgrass were significantly inhibited at quarter of the recommended herbicide rate, while in the stem node method, the similar inhibition was obtained at half of the recommended rate. Thus, it was concluded that the seedling method is more simple and quick method to evaluate response of barnyardgrass to propanil and butachlor compared to stem node method.

      • 가변 출력층 구조의 경쟁학습 신경회로망을 이용한 패턴인식

        In this paper, a new competitive learning algorithm called dynamic competitive learning (DCL) is presented. DCL is a supervised learning mehtod that dynamically generates output neuraons and nitializes weight vectors from training patterns. It introduces a new parameter called LOG (limit of garde) to decide whether or not an output neuron is created. In other words, if there exist some neurons in the province of LOG that classify the input vector correctly, then DCL adjusts the weight vector for the neuraon which has the minimum grade. Otherwise, it produces a new output neuron using the given input vector. It is largely learning is not limited only to the winner and the output neurons are dynamically generated int he trining process. In addition, the proposed algorithm has a small number of parameters. Which are easy to be determined and applied to the real problems. Experimental results for patterns recognition of remote sensing data and handwritten numeral data indicate the superiority of dCL in comparison to the conventional competitive learning methods.

      • 거울을 이용한 3차원 레이저 스캐너 및 캘리브레이션 방법

        A structured laser scanner is a tool to make 3-dimensional model from objects. It can measure only one side and an additional device like a rotating table is needed to get the whole model of the objects. However, it is difficult when measuring human's foot. To do this, a number of cameras should be used but multiple cameras increase cost. In this paper, a low cost 3D foot scanner and its calibration are developed using one camera and two mirrors. The camera and two mirrors are located below and above the foot, respectively. Occluded area, which is the top of the foot, is reflected by the mirrors. And the camera measures the bottom and top of the foot at the same time. Then, the whole 3D model is reconstructed with these images after calibration. Some experiments show that the errors of the system are less than 2 mm along x, y, and z directions.

        The purpose of this research is to test the impact of job insecurity on organizational citizenship behavior and the moderating effects of dependence to organization and tenure on the relationships between job insecurity and organizational citizenship behavior. Results indicated that job insecurity has impacts conscientiousness, courtesy, and civic virtue negatively. And dependence to organization has moderates the relationships between job insecurity and conscientiousness, courtesy, and civic virtue. But tenure has not moderates the relationships between job insecurity and organizational citizenship behavior.

      • 호텔 정보시스템(Hotel Information System : HIS)의 효율적 이용에 관한 연구

        To utilize HIS efficiently, procedure as below must be followed. At first, we should keep up continuous effort to achieve support from CEO. To achieve it, we should let CEO recoginize importance of HIS periodically and stress effect of HIS to CEO as a long term view. The reason is that the organization of HIS requires investment on a large scale, and it is impossible for this kind of enormous investment to be achieved without support or approval from CEO. At second, we should select one as a manager who would control system among those who has a long-term experience on data processing of that organization involved in addition to knowledge about computer system and HIS and those who have a good character to have a good relationship with members of other departments. At third, we should enlarge and improve education for supplier of HIS to be appropriate for practice. As a result, we could perform appropriate and sincere education for user which include theory and practice by improving material of education. At fourth, we should induce positive involvement of enduser and you should enforce education for user. As a result, user could operate HIS efficiently and could refer to exact information immediately. Lastly, it could be achieved of efficient organization of HIS and maximum value of usage effect when all members of organization perceive HIS not as revisement or alteration of plan partly but as one as a whole.

      • 열적가용화를 이용한 하수슬러지의 가용화 특성 연구

        슬러지 가용화 공정은 하수슬러지를 혐기성 소화방식으로 처리 시 나타나는 문제점인 장시간의 체류시간, 설계 값보다 낮은 소화효율 등을 해결할 수 있는 방안으로서 대표적으로 물리적 처리, 알칼리처리, 초음파처리 열적처리 등을 들 수 있다. 이중 열적 전처리 방법은 고분자 형태로 존재하는 하수슬러지를 저분자 형태로 용해시킴으로서 혐기성 소화단계 중 율속단계(Rate-limiting step)로 알려져 있는 가수분해단계를 촉진시키고, 탈수효율 개선 및 소화슬러지 감량화, 메탄가스 생산량을 증진 등의 장점이 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 생슬러지 및 잉여슬러지를 대상으로 열적가용화 공정에 의한 물리·화학적 특성 변화를 알아보았다. 용존성 물질로 존재하는 SCOD<sub>Cr</sub>, NH<sub>4</sub><sup>+</sup>, PO<sub>4</sub><sup>3-</sup>, VFAs 분석결과 생슬러지, 잉여슬러지 모두 가용화 온도가 상승함에 따라 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. SCOD<sub>Cr</sub>의 경우 가용화 전 각각 1,009mg/L, 1,322mg/L에서 220℃에서 최대 12,478mg/L, 19,544mg/L로 증가하였으며, TCOD<sub>Cr</sub> 중 SCOD<sub>Cr</sub>가 각각 43.5%, 55.7%를 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 TSS와 pH의 경우 생 및 잉여 모두 가용화 온도가 상승함에 따라 점차 감소하는 경향을 보여주었다. pH의 감소의 경우 가용화 온도가 상승함에 따라 VFAs의 농도가 증가하는 것이 pH의 감소에 기인한 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 열적가용화에 의해 용존성 물질들의 증가 및 pH의 감소는 고분자 물질로 이루어진 잉여슬러지의 세포 floc 파괴에 의한 내부 물질의 용출에 기인하여 가수분해 단계를 촉진시켰다는 것을 의미하며, 추가적으로 혐기성 공정에 있어 1차적인 산 발효 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

        <sup>110m</sup>Ag 간섭으로부터 <sup>137</sup>Cs 정량평가를 위한 드럼핵종분석 교정기술

        The Tomographic Gamma Scan (TGS) technique partitions radioactive waste drums into $10{\times}10{\times}16$ voxels and assays both the density and concentration of radioactivity for each voxel thus providing for improved accuracy, when compared to the traditional Non-Destructive Assay(NDA) techniques. It could decrease the degree of precision measurement since there is a trade-off between spatial resolution and precision. This latter drawback is compensated by expanding the Region of Interest (ROI) that differentiates the full energy peaks, which, in turn, results in an optimized degree of precision. The enlarged ROI, however, increases the probability of interference among those nuclides that emit energies in the adjacent spectrum. This study has identified the cause of such interference for the reference nuclide of the TGS technique, $^{137}Cs$ (661.66 keV, half-life 30.5 years), to be $^{110m}Ag$ (657.75 keV, half-life 249.76 days). A new calibration method of determining the optimized ROI was developed, and its effectiveness in accurately characterizing $^{137}Cs$ and eliminating the interference was further ascertained.
