2007년 3월부터 WFA에서 시작된 "Wi-Fi $CERTIFIED^{TM}$ 802.11n draft 2.0" 인증을 통해 현재까지 180가지가 넘는 제품이 출시되고 있는 가운데 이러한 시장의 상황을 반영하듯 여러 매체를 통해 IEEE 802.11n이 핫이슈로 등장하였다. 예를 들어 $1820{\times}1080$ pixels, 24 bits/pixel, 초당 60 프레임 정도의 1080p급 비디오를 전송하려면 Gbps 이상의 전송속도를 필요로 한다. 이를 위하여 최근에 Gbps 이상의 차세대 무선랜 서비스를 위한 새로운 국제규격을 정의하려는 움직임이 IEEE 802.11 내에서 활발해지고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 IEEE 802.11에서의 표준화 활동을 중심으로 차세대무선랜에 대한 응용분야, 관련기술, 표준화 작업 내용에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

The supply and use of exhaust heat recovery ventilation system as effective energy saving equipment has been increasing steadily. Heat recovery ventilation system can be installed at ceiling of balcony or emergency space. However, in case of fire, because emergency space have to remain as empty space by law, ventilation system can not be installed at emergency space. Therefore the need of proper installation space of ventilation system is embossed. In this study, to install heat recovery ventilation system in light weight wall, thickness of heat exchanger was assembled below 140 mm. The efficiency of heat recovery was analyzed through performance experiment on case of cooling and heating mode.

Exhaust heat recovery ventilation systems conserve energy through enthalpy recovery between air intake and exhaust, and they are being increasingly used. An exhaust heat recovery ventilation system can be installed in the ceiling of a balcony or emergency evacuation space. However, in the case of fire, the emergency evacuation space has to by law remain as empty space, and therefore, a ventilation system can’t be installed in an emergency evacuation space. Therefore, the need for a proper installation space for a ventilation system is emphasized. In this study, to install a heat recovery ventilation system in a lightweight wall, a heat exchanger was assembled of thickness below 140 mm. The efficiency of heat recovery was analyzed through performance experiment, in the case of the cooling and heating mode. The heat recovery efficiency increases when the surface area is increased, by using closer channel spacing in the heat exchanger, or by increasing the size of the heat exchanger.

Ground source heat pump systems are used for heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems in commercial buildings, schools, and factories because of low operating and maintenance costs. These systems use the earth as a heat source in heating mode and a heat sink in cooling mode. Ground heat exchangers are classified by a horizontal type and vertical type according to the installation method. A horizontal type means that a heat exchanger is laid in the trench bored in 1.2 to 1.8 m depth. The solar heat and the rainwater are affected by the performance of heat exchanger and causes mutual influence among heat exchangers. In this study, to evaluate the performance of straight type, slinky type, and spiral type of horizontal ground heat exchangers designed on 1 RT scale, test sections are buried on the earth and experimental apparatus is installed. Therefore the performance of these is estimated.
