인적자본(Human Capital)이 지역사회의 시민활동(Civic Activities)에 미치는 영향: 15개 OECD 국가를 중심으로

교육은 시민활동(civic activities)에 영향을 주는 핵심변인으로 인식되어 왔다. 선행연구들에 따르면 교육수준이 높을수록 시민활동에 참여할 가능성은 커진다고 한다. 이것은 지금까지 시민활동에 관한 사회과학 연구의 주요 결과라고 볼 수 있다. 그리고 이를 뒷받침하는 실증연구도 많이 있어 왔다. 그러나 선행연구들은 인지기술(cognitive stills) 및 교육연수(schooling)와 같은 인적자본이 시민활동에 미치는 다양한 측면들을 제대로 보여주지 못했다. 예를 들면, 인적자본의 시민활동에 관한 영향은 비선형(nonlinear)으로 나타날 수 있으며 나라마다 그 영향이 정책구조나 성향에 따라 달라질 수 있음을 간과했던 것이다. 더구나 선행연구들은 교육변수가 시민활동에 미치는 영향력만 고려한 나머지 인지기술이 미치는 영향을 고려하지 못했다. 이로 인해 교육변수의 영향력은 과대추정되어 있을지도 모른다. 본 연구는 국제리터러시조사(International Adult Literacy Survey) 자료를 이용하여 이러한 의문점들에 대한 실증분석을 시도하고 있다. 본 연구는 미시차원에서 교육이나 산문문해력 기술(prose literacy skills) 점수가 일정수준을 넘어서면 시민활동에 미치는 영향력이 거의 사라지는 비선형효과를 실증적으로 보여주고 있다. 또한 인적자본이 시민활동에 미치는 영향은 나라마다 상당히 다름을 보여준다. 나아가 거시차원에서 국가별 사회복지비의 지출규모가 인적자본과 시민활동 사이의 관계에 영향을 주고 있음을 보여준다. 후속연구는 국가별로 공공정책의 성격이나 구조가 시민활동에 미치는 영향이 어떻게 다양하게 나타나고 있는지 그리고 이러한 다양성이 교육변수와 어떤 관련성을 갖고 있는지 분석해볼 필요가 있다. Educational attainment is a powerful predictor of civic engagement. The more education people have, the more likely it is that they will participate in civic affairs. This has been a widespread belief among social scientists since at least the end of World War Ⅱ. Previous research has provided convincing empirical evidence for this belief. However, this not the whole story regarding the effects of human capital(e.g., schooling and cognitive skills) on civic activities. The effects of human capital could be nonlinear and differ from country to country. In addition the effects of education on civic participation in previous research models may be overestimated due to the omission of cognitive skills such as prose literacy skills. Relying on the International Adult Literacy Survey (IALS), this study addresses these questions. This study finds (1) that civic participation in most OECD countries does not increase beyond a certain level of human capital, (2) that the extent to which education and prose literacy skills influence civic participation differs from country to country, and (3) that the cross-national differences in the effects of human capital on civic participation appear to be related to the level of social expenditures. Further research is required to examine how cross-national differences in policy design are related to civic participation and how these differences interact with education.

$La_{7.33}Bi_2(SiO_4)_6O_2$ specimens were fabricated by standard solid-state synthesis route for solid oxide electrolytes. The calcined powders exhibited uniform particles with a mean particle size of about $28{\mu}m$. The room-temperature structure of $La_{7.33}Bi_2(SiO_4)_6O_2$ specimens was analyzed as hexagonal, space group P63 or P63/m, and the unit cell volume increased with increase a sintering temperature. The specimens sintered at $1,175^{\circ}C$ showed X-ray patterns of homogeneous apatite single phase without the second phase such as $La_2Si_2O_7$ and $La_2SiO_5$. The specimen sintered at $1,175^{\circ}C$ showed the maximum sintered density of 5.49 $g/cm^3$. Increasing the sintering temperature, total conductivities increased, activation energy decreased and the values were $1.98{\times}10^{-5}Scm-1$ and 1.23 eV, respectively.
BiTiO<sub>3</sub> 첨가에 따른 (Na<sub>0.5</sub>K<sub>0.5</sub>)NbO<sub>3</sub> 세라믹스의 구조적, 전기적 특성

In this study, lead-free (Na<sub>0.5</sub>K<sub>0.5</sub>)NbO<sub>3</sub>-BiTiO<sub>3</sub> ceramics were fabricated by a conventional mixed oxide method. Structural and electrical properties of lead-free (Na<sub>0.5</sub>K<sub>0.5</sub>)NbO<sub>3</sub> ceramics with the variation of BiTiO<sub>3</sub> were investigated. The results of X-ray diffraction analysis showed a typical polycrystalline perovskite structure without presence of the second phase in all specimens. Sintered density increased with an increasing of BTO and the specimen added with 0.07 mol% of BiTiO<sub>3</sub>showed the maximum value of 97.8%. Average grain size decreased and densification increased with an increasing of BiTiO<sub>3</sub> contents. The electromechanical coupling factor of the 0.01 mol% BiTiO<sub>3</sub> doped NKN specimens was 0.32. Dielectric constant, dielectric loss and Curie temperature of the 0.07 mol% BiTiO<sub>3</sub> doped NKN specimens were 1185, 0.145% and 400℃, respectively.
Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing(WAAM)기반 자동차 부품용 단조 금형의 재제조 공정 기술 개발

The global manufacturing industry is introducing innovative technologies such as Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing(WAAM) in the manufacturing method of metal products. This technology is a method of manufacturing metal products by additive the shapes of metal through a additive algorithm based on a welding method that uses arc plasma to melt metal wire materials. Currently, WAAM technology is undergoing much research in the method of additive manufacturing complex metal products, but research using WAAM Technology in the Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) method using Flux Cored Wire(FCW) as a material is still insufficient. In this study, the WAAM process technology using FCW as a material was applied to the manufacture of forging die for automobile parts. For this purpose, the 3D design program CATIA V5, robot simulator, ABB IRB-6700 six-axis robot and Fronius TPS-500i CMT welder were used. A bead shape welded by an FCAW method is observed and analyzed under conditions, a tool path applying a additive algorithm of a forging die component shape is generated, and manufacturing is carried out by using a six-axis robot. Based on a comparative experiment on residual slag observation and volume transmission methods, a study was conducted on forging die manufacturing techniques using WAAM by the FCAW method.

Pb(Zr,Tj)O₃/BiFeO₃/(PZT/BFO) multilayer thin films were coated on Pt/Ti/SiO₂/Si substrates by chemical solution deposition. With increasing the number of BFO coating solution, the leakage current density properties of multilayered PZT/BFO thin films were improved. The value of the PZT/BFO-4 film was about l89.39(x10?? A/㎠) at 10V.
