저비용의 RAID 저장장치를 이용한 고속 테이터 수신저장 시스템의 개발 및 구축

본 논문에서는 고비용의 엔트프라이즈급 RAID 저장장치를 저비용의 RAID 저장장치로 대체하고 인공위성 연구센터에서 개발한 데이터 수신카드를 이용하여 고속 데이터 수신저장 시스템을 구축하였다. 350Mbps로 수신되는 데이터를 처리하기 위해서 S-ATA2 방식의 하드디스크 3개와 자체 제작한 성능 시험 소프트웨어를 이용하였다. 성능 시험 결과 79MB의 속도로 RAID에 저장할 수 있음을 확인하였다. This paper describes the establishment result of high speed data receIVIng and archiving system (HDRAS) using data receiving card(DRC) developped by SaTReC and low cost RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) storage instead of expensive enterprise RAID storage. We used three 5-ATA2 type hard disks and performance test program developped by SaTReC to receive and save data at 350Mbps. Finally, we verified that the HDRAS using low cost RAID storage has a capacity to process received data at 79MBjs(632Mbps).

Underwater radiated noise is the key in acoustic stealth performance of modern naval ships. The underwater radiated noise predicted by the hull vibration with radiation efficiency cannot give the information of radiation pattern which is essential to the analysis of detection possibility by enemy and to improve the operational performance of the naval ship. The radiation pattern of underwater radiated noise is able to be obtained with radiation efficiency and radiation direction coefficient. In this paper, a new method to extraction the radiation efficiency and radiation direction coefficient is suggested and proved with the simulation and experiment by using cylindrical shell of 70cm diameter in air

The behavior of very high cycle fatigue in automotive alloy wheels have become a critical issue for safety, due to their prolonged service life. For the test, a specially designed, dedicated ultrasonic fatigue test (UFT)system was utilized to investigate the high cycle fatigue behavior of A356-T6 aluminium alloys. The hourglass-shaped specimens were specifically designed according to the alloy``s dynamic elastic modulus and fatigue-tested up to 109 cycles at room temperature under completely reversed loading conditions of R=-1. SN curve was plotted, showing monotonic decrease in the test range. Cracked area and fracture surface after tests were investigated using a scanning electron microscope(SEM). It was shown that cracks were initiated from a surface flaw and then propagated into the internal area. Fracture surfaces consist of mostly dimples, typically as in other ductile fracture mode. This test method can be an alternative test methods, since it shows several merits over conventional fatigue testing methods such as fast test speed and effectiveness.

Secondary syphilis has a myriad of clinical presentations as the great imitator. However, syphilid mimicking annular pustular psoriasis has been rarely reported in the Korean literature. Although the incidence of syphilis has been declining in recent years, serologic testing for syphilis might be mandatory in all types of the unestablished psoriasiform dermatoses, in that failure to diagnose early syphilis correctly can have potentially serious legal ramifications. Though the risk of non-sexual transmission of syphilis has been extremely low, the probability of transmission following needle-stick injury or acupuncture can not be excluded. We herein report a rare case of secondary syphilis with clinical features of annular pustular psoriasis following the repeated acupuncture and venous drainage by a herb doctor. Eosinophilic panniculitis(EP) is characterized by a prominent infiltration of subcutaneous fat with eosinophils. However, EP is a histopathologic pattern or reactive process rather than a distinct disease entity. It has been identified in patients who have a variety of associated clinical conditions. We report a case of a 37-year-old woman with EP on her abdominal region. Due to the pertinent clinical and laboratory investigation to rule out an accompanied systemic process, we found nodal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Although there have been several reports about the cases of EP in Korea, until now no case of EP accompanied with nodal lymphoma had yet been reported. (Korean J Dermatol 2004;42(3):332~336)

Non-nasal T/NK-cell lymphomas(TNKCL) are further subdivided into primary cutaneous and 4 subtypes of secondary cutaneous lymjphomas such as nasal type, aggressive, blastic(blastoid), and other specific NK-like T-cell lympoma. Aggressive T/NK-cell lymphoma/leukemia(ATNKCL) is a rare leukemic variant of nasal type TNKCL. Although ATNKCL invariably exhibits the identical histomorphological, genotypical and immunophenotyical findings with TNKCL, it is distinguishable from the nasal type of TNKCL in that the former reveals atypical cells having large azurophilic cytoplasmic granules in the peripheral blood and bone marrow. We herein report a rare case of ATNKCL with secondary cutaneous lesions. (Korean J Dermatol 2003;41(12):1638~1643)

In this study, we have investigated the very high cycle fatigue behaviors of two types of low-pressure die cast A356-T6 automotive alloys wheels which are differently processed, using a dedicated ultrasonic fatigue test system. Then we have conducted the fatigue test up to 109 cycles at room temperature under completely reversed loading conditions of R= -1, for the specifically designed specimens according to its dynamic elastic modulus. SN curves reveal a monotonic decrease in the test range without showing a fatigue limit plateau as in other non-ferrous metals. Fracture surfaces consist of mostly cup and cone microstructure, indicating typical ductile fracture behavior. Fatigue properties of both alloys are shown to be in the safe regime. Specimens processed by side gate casting system showed superior fatigue properties to those by center gate casting system, possibly due to the finer secondary dendrite arm spacing. This test method might be an alternative method for its fast speed and effectiveness.
