The use of industrial robots has been one of the most important innovations in production technology in recent years. It is true that robotic techniques, as applied to hazardous operation in industry, have reduced the risk of injury and occupational disease among workers. However, new types of occupational safety and health risks, associated with unpredictable motion patterns and erratic idle times and serious injuries and deaths have occurred due to operator misperception of these robot design and performance characteristics. This paper provides an overview of ergonomic and safety issues which are important in the design of robotic workspaces. Particularly, this study uses MORT(Management oversight and risk tree analysis)as the system's safety technique applied to robotics.

소상공인의 전략적지향성이 기업성과에 미치는 영향

This study suggests the strategic orientation concept and empirically analyzes the effect of the concept on the performance of small and micro business. Also this study analyzes the moderating effect of the governmental supporting service on the relationship between strategic orientation and performance of the business. According to the study among three dimensional strategic orientation, competition orientation and technology orientation except customer orientation have a significant and positive effect on the performance. However, the moderating effect of the governmental supporting service on the relationship between strategic orientations and performance of the business is not provided. On the whole, these results represent though technology orientation such as recognition of information on new products and sensitive application to business effectively improves the performance of small and micro business, and that strategic orientation is an important factor of business performance, governmental supporting service is being provided without sufficient consideration of the strategic orientations of the business. 본 연구에서는 보다 실행적이며 혁신적인 개념으로서 전략적지향성을 제시하여 기업성과에 미치는 영향과 함께 소상공인에 대한 정부지원서비스가 전략적지향성과 기업성과의 관계에 미치는 조절효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 전략적 지향성의 세 가지 차원 중 고객지향성을 제외한 경쟁지향성과 기술지향성이 기업성과에 유의한 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 정부지원서비스의 조절효과는 없는 것으로 파악되었다. 이상의 분석결과는 신제품에 대한 정보인식과 사업 적용속도 등의 기술지향성이 소상공인 기업성과를 효과적으로 향상시킬 수 있으며, 전략적 지향성의 세 차원이 소상공인의 기업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인임에도 불구하고 정부에서 제공되는 지원서비스가 소상공인의 전략적지향성이 충분히 고려하지 않고 있다는 점을 반영하고 있다.

미국 KSR사건을 중심으로 본 진보성 기준의 동태적 분석

The criterion of inventive step is even more influential to economy and industry than how it has been thought by normal people. The most important step in a patent system is registration of patents. The substantive requirements for patent registration are novelty, inventive step, and utility in US, and in Korea, industrial applicability replaces the above utility. In addition to these three requirements, publicity based on description requirements can be added as another requirement. Among these requirements, the inventive step is the most essential in deciding whether a patent application is registered or rejected, since industrial applicability or utility is hardly judged negative and novelty does not usually become a key issue in the judgement of conflicting patent registration. Accordingly the KSR case comes to be very important, triggering extraordinary interest in US legal and industrial communities, and it is thought to powerfully effect Korea, concerning the globalization of patent system, pacesetting US leaderships and reliance of Korean economy upon US. The strict application of US CAFC motivation test is considered to be revised to some extent, since CAFC motivation test is not always compatible to the cases recently though it had been adequately applied to the cases of mid-1980s. Therefore, there would be a great change in the US patent system, following the CAFC judgement regarding the KSR case. There are three points to be noticed through this discussion: First, the patent system is a kind of social overhead capital which depends on industrial development and is finally focussed thereon. Second, the objective of the patent system is significantly related to the inventive step of a patent. At last, the criterion of inventive step should evolve in accordance with changes in industries and patent circles, though it is not likely to be easily modified.

불확실성 감사의견과 부도시 시장충격과의 관계

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation between the uncertainty opinion about going concern and the stock market's reaction to bankruptcy filings. The hypothesis of this study is that the bankruptcy surprise in firms received uncertainty opinions are lower than the bankruptcy surprise in firms received unqualified audit opinions. Our empirical results show that firms received uncertainty opinions about going concern experience significantly less negative cumulative average excess returns in the period surrounding bankruptcy filings than those received unqualified audit opinions. These empirical results are consistent with the research hypothesis that the uncertainty opinions about going concern by external auditors have information value. In additional analysis we are unable to find the significant linear association between the mitigation of bankruptcy surprise and the financial ratios representing financial difficulties.

생산성 향상을 위한 제조업 안전보건관리 지수개발

According to establishment of WTO, the international organizations such as ILO, DECD accelerate the laws and rules to control some countries which persue their own interest and settle the free trade system simultaneously. Therefore, each country is trying to build its responsiveness and fortify the competition of company through the promotion of productivity and product quality. To response actively in these streams, we have to establish the adequate management policy and the safety and health management in our companies. It makes the level of international competition of the companies higher. In this paper, we developed the SMI(safety management index) program by the computer language with algorithm of safety management certification to assist the activity of safety management. It makes the operating of the safety management assess more detail through quantitative methodology and provide the convenience in analyzing their safety problem.

컨설턴트역량과 경영컨설팅완성도의 관계 및 조절요인 분석

본 연구에서는 컨설턴트역량이 경영컨설팅완성도에 미치는 영향과 컨설팅사 및 컨설팅 수진기업의 조직특성이 미치는 조절효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 컨설턴트의 직무역량과 관리역량은 경영컨설팅완성도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 반면에 공통역량은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 컨설팅사 특성의 조절효과는 관리역량과 경영컨설팅완성도의 관계에 대한 컨설팅사전문성의 영향만이 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 컨설팅 수진기업특성의 조절효과는 관리역량과 경영컨설팅완성도의 관계에 대한 경영자지원과 직무역량과 경영컨설팅완성도의 관계에 대한 변화수용력의 영향이 유의한 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 경영컨설팅 수진기업의 컨설팅성과를 평가하고 컨설팅결과의 전략적 활용방안을 강구하는데 활용될 수 있다. 아울러 분석결과는 관련분야의 연구 영역을 확대하고 후속적인 연구를 활성화하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 본다. This study analyzes empirically the effect of consultant competency on management consulting completion index and moderating effects of consulting firm and client firm characteristics. According to research results, both task and managerial competencies of consultant give significant positive effect on consulting completion index but common competency gives no significant impact on completion index. Moderating effect of consulting firm characteristics is significant only for the relationship of managerial competency and consulting completion index. In case of client firm characteristics, the moderating effects of management support on the relationship of managerial competency and consulting completion index and change receptive capacity on the relationship of task competency and consulting completion index. On the whole, results of this study can be utilized to estimate practical usefulness of business consulting in viewpoints of client firms and to devise strategic utilization of consulting outcomes. Also analysis results can contribute to expand related research area and to activate subsequent future research.

산화적지의 2차 식생구조 분석에 관한 연구

This study was carried out to investigate the Vegetation, plant community structure and secondary succession of cut and uncut sites of burned areas in Gun-buk myoun of Keumsan, chungnam. The forest fire occurred in may, 1996 and the rigida pine forest and its floor vegetation were burned down. The investigation was carried out from June to August in 1998 and the result are as follows : 1.The dominant species based on importance value of the cut site were Pinus rigida, Quercus spp., Lespedeza bicolor was in the shrub layer and Carex humilis, Carex lanceolata were in the herb layer, howerer, in the uncut sites the dominant species were Pinus rigida, Quercus spp. in the tree lager, Carex humilis, Rhodooendron schlippenbachii, Quercus acutissima were in the shrub layer and Carex humilis, Carex lanceolata were in the herb layer. Pinus rigida, Pinus densiflora, Quercus spp. in the tree layer and Pinus densiflora Quercus spp. in the sub-tree layer and Lespedeza bicolor, Quercus spp. in the shrub layer and Carex humilis, Carex lanceolata in the herb layer were dominant species in the unburned site. 2.The species diversity Index range of the cut sites of burned area was 1.6087∼1.4976, the uncut sites was 1.4533∼ 1.4348, and the unburned areas was 1.3920∼1.3006.

The BFK-gluing formula for zeta-determinants and the value of relative zeta functions at zero

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the constant term appearing in the BFK-gluing formula for the zeta-determinants of Laplacians on a complete Riemannian manifold when the warped product metric is given on a collar neighborhood of a cutting compact hypersurface. If the dimension of a hypersurface is odd, generally this constant is known to be zero. In this paper we describe this constant by using the heat kernel asymptotics and compute it explicitly when the dimension of a hypersurface is 2 and 4. As a byproduct we obtain some results for the value of relative zeta functions at s = 0.
