        Use of canine small intestinal submucosa allograft for treating perineal hernias in two dogs

        Here, we describe two dogs in which canine small intestinal submucosa (SIS) was implanted as a biomaterial scaffold during perineal herniorrhaphy. Both dogs had developed severe muscle weakness, unilaterally herniated rectal protrusions, and heart problems with potential anesthetic risks. Areas affected by the perineal hernia (PH) located between the internal obturator and external anal sphincter muscles were reconstructed with naïve canine SIS sheets. In 12 months, post-operative complications such as wound infections, sciatic paralysis, rectal prolapse, or recurrence of the hernia were not observed. Symptoms of defecatory tenesmus also improved. Neither case showed any signs of rejection or specific immune responses as determined by complete and differential cell counts. Our findings demonstrate that canine SIS can be used as a biomaterial scaffold for PH repair in dogs.

        문화적응 유형화를 중심으로한 국제결혼이주여성의 부부갈등과 가족상담자의 문화적 역량에 대한 기대

        The aim of this study was to investigate on characteristics of sociological and demographic population, marital conflicts and expectations to family counselors cultural competence surrounding factors of cultural adaptation among immigrated women. This study conducted a survey of 236 immigrated women in Kyonggi province, Seoul metropolitan cities, Cholla and Chunchung provinces and Incheon. The results of this study are as follows: First, a relatively few marital conflicts were found, as a whole, while they had the high levels of expectation to family counselors cultural competence. Second, immigrated women can be clustered as three different types: multiplicity type, undifferentiated type and adaptation type. Third, sociological and demographic population characteristics which were subdivided and clustered according to cultural adaptation made the significant difference between each population. Population with multiplicity type out of the above-stated three types accounted for the highest conflict rates, while population with adaptation type accounted for the lowest conflict rates. Lastly, expectations to family counselors cultural competence made the significant difference among each population. Population with multiplicity type showed the highest expectation levels on expectations to family counselors cultural competence, while population with undifferentiated type showed the lowest levels.

        개방형BIM기반 건축 자동 법규검토를 위한 내·외부 공간 및 필로티 구조 자동 판별 알고리즘 개발

        Various efforts are being made to commercialize BIM in Korea. Conformity assessment is used as a way to improve BIM data quality. When code checking, the use or the space is limited first. Thus, the importance of spatial classification increased, and the names of spaces were coded. However, there were cases where spaces with the same name were external and internal (e.g., Balcony), which could not be distinguished by spatial classification codes. Therefore, an automatic identification algorithm for internal and external space was developed and verified. Additionally, the piloti structure among the external spaces has clear conditions, so we developed the automatic identification algorithm for piloti structure using automatic identification algorithm for internal and external space. It is expected that it will be used when conducting research that automatically calculates areas.

        LDA 토픽 모델링을 활용한 건축주의 단독주택 주거요구 문장 분석

        With the prolonged COVID-19, people stayed at home longer. This led to a new change in residential life, and as interest in the space of home increased, human demands for home diversified. In this paper, sentences for the owners housing needs were collected as a range of detached houses that can reflect various housing needs, and sentences were analyzed using LDA topic modeling. The number of topics was set to 9 using coherence, but most of the sentences were complex sentences, making it difficult to define the topic. In future studies, a more accurate analysis of sentences for detached house owners housing needs will be conducted using the multi-label classification used in product review analysis to recognize and analyze complex sentences.

        샤르코-마리-투스병 1A형(CMT1A)의 가족내 표현형적 이질성과 MIR149 SNP에 대한 연관성 연구

        샤르코-마리-투스병(Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease: CMT)은 희귀 말초신경병의 그룹으로, 진행성 근육 약화 및 위축, 감각 소실, 상지 및 하지의 무반사 증상을 나타낸다. CMT1A는 PMP22 유전자가 존재하는 17p12 지역의 직렬 중복으로 발병하는데, 유전자형-표현형의 상관성이 느슨하여 2차 유전적 요인의 존재를 암시한다. 최근 MIR149의 rs71428439 (n.83A>G)와 rs2292832 (n.86T>C) 변이가 후기 발병 및 가벼운 증상의 표현형과 연관성이 있는 것으로 보고되었다. 본 연구는 CMT1A 기계내 임상적 표현형의 이질성이 MIR149의 SNP과 연관성이 있는지를 규명하기 위해 수행하였으며, 조사 대상으로는 가계내 표현형의 차이가 심한 6 CMT1A 대 가계를 대상으로 하였다. 그 결과, MIR149의 rs71428439와 s2292832 유전자형은 가족내의 늦은 발병과 약한 중증도의 유전적 요인으로 작용할 수 있음을 제시하였다. 특히, AG+GG (n.83A>G)와 TC+CC 유전자형(n.86T>C)은 발병 시기가 늦고 경미한 증상을 보였다. 운동신경 전기전도도(MNCV)는 MIR149 유전형과 연관이 없는 것으로 보였는데, 이러한 결과는 이전 연구와 일치한다. 따라서 본 연구는 MIR149의 rs71428439와 rs2292832 변이는 CMT1A 가계내 표현 형적 이질성의 원인 중 하나로 작용할 가능성을 제시한다. 본 연구는 가계 내 증상의 차이가 심한 6 대가족을 사용하여 연구를 수행한 것은 의미가 크다고 여겨지며, 이런 결과는 CMT1A 환자의 분자 진단과 치료에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) is a group of rare peripheral neuropathies characterized by progressive muscle weakness and atrophy and areflexia in the upper and lower extremities. The most common subtype of CMT is CMT1A, which is caused by a tandem duplication of the PMP22 gene in the 17p12 region. Patients with CMT1A show a loose genotype-phenotype correlation, which suggests the existence of secondary genetic or association factors. Recently, polymorphisms of rs71428439 (n.83A>G) and rs2292832 (n.86T>C) in the MIR149 have been reported to be associated with late onset and mild phenotypic CMT1A severity. The aim of this study was to examine the intrafamilial heterogeneities of clinical phenotypes according to the genotypes of these two SNPs in MIR149. For this study, we selected 6 large CMT1A families who showed a wide range of phenotypic variation. This study suggested that both SNPs were related to the onset age and severity in the dominant model. In particular, the AG+GG (n.83A>G) and TC+CC genotypes (n.86T>C) were associated to late onset and mild symptoms. Motor nerve conduction velocity (MNCV) was not related to the MIR149 genotypes. These results were consistent with the previous studies. Therefore, we suggest that the rs71428439 and rs2292832 variants in MIR149 may serve as genetic modifiers of CMT1A intrafamilial phenotypic heterogeneity, as they have a role in the unrelated patients. This is the first study to show an association using large families with variable clinical CMT1A phenotypes. The results will be helpful in the molecular diagnosis and treatment of patients with CMT1A.

        개방형BIM기반 건축 법규 검토를 위한 데이터 생성 가이드 제안

        The importance of BIM in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry is increasing. Domestic and foreign government agencies are making efforts to make BIM mandatory step-by-step and roadmap and provide comprehensive guidelines or standards for the introduction of BIM. Data storage and sharing over the AEC industry is one of the important features of BIM, where the amount and quality of the data are determined by how the model is built. Even with reference to the BIM guidelines of the upper concept, modeling guides are needed to ensure that the correct data can be delivered according to the application stage or needs. This paper presents a building information level(BIL) 30-level BIM data generation guide for building code compliance checking at the architectural design stage. To this end, prior studies related to regulation check were analyzed, and object-specific guides were presented for users by comparing the requirements derived from regulation analysis with case-by-case models. BIM data generation guides developed through this paper are targeted at architectural methods, excluding items with high land or detail levels. In this study, users will be able to efficiently write models for complex regulation check, reducing errors in BIM models, improving quality and increasing efficiency.

        통합의료적 황달진단법개발을 위한 통계적 접근방법

        Healthcare approach in Western medicine and Korean Traditional Medicine (KTM) varies from its nature of human understanding and cultural differences. This fundamental difference in their approach of the human pathology has dualised and hindered common medical communication between the two fields of medicines. Within this current difficulty, the integrative medical service is said to become a novel method to provide the patients with the best medical care as their intent is to adapt and combine the advantages stated from the two different fields. This research paper shows the integrative approach of treating jaundice, where the symptoms of dampness and heat on Korean traditional standards are analyzed using statistical methods based on monitoring the blood test results. Therefore, we can explore an approach to diagnose and treat with comprehensive and integrative medicine algorithm. 건강 관리에 있어서 서양의학과 한의학의 접근 방법의 차이는 자연과 인간의 이해에 대한 문화적인 차이에서 비롯된다. 서양의학에서는 자연과 인간을 분리하고 인간 또한 여러 하위 시스템으로 나누고, 질병을 외부의 자극에 대한 반응이 적절하지 못하여 초래되는 것으로 보고 질병이 발생되면 시스템 별로 진단하여 치료해 왔다. 반면, 한의학의 경우 자연과 인간을 하나로 보고 인간의 건강을 자연과의 조화로운 상태로 규명하고 질병이 발생하기 전에 건강의 균형을 유지하기 위한 면역 기능을 높이는 예방적 치료를 주로 해왔다. 이러한 인간에 대한 근본적인 접근방법의 차이는 의료 전달체계를 양분화 시키고 상호 의사소통의 어려움을 야기했으나 통합 의료 서비스는 두 가지 의학의 장점을 살리고 최상의 치료 효과를 지향하는 시도라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 특정 질환인 황달에 대해 한의학적 분류 (습증, 열증)에 따른 서양의학에서 사용하는 혈액학적 검사수치를 통계적 분석기법을 사용하여 살펴보고 차이가 있는 수치를 살펴봄으로써 통합의료적 환자 진단과 치료에 적용할 수 있는 접근 방법을 살펴보고자 한다.
