무선 인체 통신에서의 효율적 전력 사용을 위한 동기화 프로토콜

Body Area Network(BAN)에서는 배터리 교체 과정의 복잡성으로 인하여 센서의 수명 연장이 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 본 논문에서는 센서의 수명 연장을 위해 동기화에 사용되는 전력을 절감하는 프로토콜을 제안한다. 본 방식에서는 주기적인 beacon 전송 대신 ACK 메시지에 동기화 데이터를 추가하는 방법으로 동기화 전력을 절감하고, 센서의 다양한 통신 주기를 고려하여 각 노드의 동기화를 제어하고자 한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안하는 동기화 방식을 적용한 경우가 기존의 beacon 기반 방식보다 전력 사용에 있어 효율적임을 확인하였다. Prolonging the sensor lifetime is an important issue in Body Area Network(BAN) because of the complexity of battery changing process. Thus, in this paper, we propose an energy-saving synchronization protocol to minimize each sensor's power consumption. We propose to include the synchronization data in the ACK message instead of beacon, to reduce power consumption. In the proposed protocol, the master coordinates synchronization by considering each sensors' communication cycle. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol is more energy-efficient than the existing beacon-based synchronization system.

최신 앙상블 러닝 기법을 이용한 메타 러닝 알고리즘의 일반화 성능 개선에 관한 연구

퓨샷 러닝(few-shot learning) 문제를 해결하기 위해 제안 되고 있는 다양한 방법들 중 메타 러닝(meta-learning) 기법들은 퓨샷 러닝 문제들을 작은 서브태스크로 고려하여 이를 학습하는 방법을 학습한다는 관점을 가진다. 그렇지만 퓨샷 태스크들을 구성하는 과정이 적은 수의 클래스들을 대상으로 하기 때문에 모델이 가능한 학습 서브태스크들의 조합을 외우는 과적합 문제가 발생한다는 단점을 가진다. 본 논문은 앙상블 기법 중 하나인 MIMO 기법을 메타 러닝알고리즘에 적용하여 메타 러닝에서 흔하게 발생하는 과적합 문제를 해소할 수 있음을 보인다. MIMO 기법은 하나의 모델내부에 여러 개의 서브네트워크들을 학습하는 방식으로 모델 파라미터의 수가 크게 증가하지 않는 선에서 여러 개의 모델을 앙상블로 학습하는 효과를 얻는다. 대표적인 거리 기반 메타 러닝 알고리즘인 prototypical Network에 MIMO기법을 적용하여 학습 곡선의 양상이 달라짐을 보이고 이를 통해 성능 향상을 꾀할 수 있음을 보인다.

지방자치단체의 기후변화정책 효과 인식에 관한 연구 - 물관리정책 효과 인식의 계층요인 영향을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 지자체 기후변화 적응정책의 효과에 대한 지역주민들의 인식에 있어 계층이 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 구체적으로는 광역자치단체의 기후변화 적응을 위한 물관리정책을 대상으로 계층별 인식의 차이를 규명하고 정책적 함의를 도출하고자 했다. 기후변화가 야기하는 극한 기후현상에 적응하기 위한 지역차원의 대책이 그 중요성을 더해가는 가운데, 지역의 물관리정책에 대한 주민인식을 살펴보고 정부정책의 평가와 신뢰의 요인으로서 계층이 미치는 영향을 검토하는 것은 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 지역, 성별, 연령을 고려하여 전국단위 설문조사를 실시한 후, 계층요인을 설명변수로, 물관리정책효과 인식을 종속변수로 하여 회귀분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 객관적 계층요인의 대용변수로서 교육수준과 소득수준은 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 기후변화라는 범사회적 위험에 대한 정부의 대응을 계층에 관계없이 규범적으로 수용하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 다음으로 주관적 계층의식은 정책효과 인식에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 하위 계층귀속 의식을 가진 사람들에 대한 정책적 배려의 필요성을 시사하고 있다. 본 연구는 개인의 객관적 계층요인(교육, 소득수준)뿐만 아니라 주관적 측면에서의 계층의식을 주요변수로 설정하여 정책효과 인식에 대한 인과적 영향을 보다 면밀하게 규명하고자 했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다. This study tries to examine to what extent citizen’s income-class perception affects the perception on the effect of government policy related with climate change. In particular, we empirically analyzed to what extent the perception of individual’s income-class affected the perceived effect of the wide-area unit of local government policies associated with the climate change adoption in Korea. We conducted a nation-wide individual level survey asking he/her income-class and subjective income-class, and his/her percpetion on the effect of the government policy dealing with climate change adoption, controlling for other demographic information. First of all, the effect of educational-level and income-level did not have any effect on the difference in the perception of the government policy effectiveness. This may be due to national wide consensus regarding the need of dealing with climate change issue. However, the subjective income-class perception had an effect on the government policy effectiveness. Thus, when an individual perceives his/her subjective income-class to be higher, he/she think that the government policy is more effective in dealing with climate change adoption.

Natural gas is an attractive fuel in view of environmental benefits due to its low carbon-to-hydrogen ratio. However, its compositions and properties are varied depending upon production regional groups. Therefore, study on the combustion characteristics of natural gas engines with a variety of compositions has been demanded for the efficient application of gas engines.<br/> This study aims to investigate the effects of gas composition on engine combustion characteristics. It was found that, by controlling an engine with fixed fuel nozzle area, power and heat release were subject to Wobbe Index. And at fixed excess air ratios, power and heat release were subject to low heating value of unit mixture. In addition, in case of constant nozzle area, combustion duration was found to be inversely proportional to CP(Combustion Potential), and the condition of fixed excess air ratios showed no change in combustion duration, regardless of CP.<br/>
