낙하충격 시험/해석을 통한 CD-RW Driver의 손상평가

A fracture of hand held device, such as radio, TV and CD-RW drive, mainly occurs due to drop situation. For CD-RW drive, the need of high reading/writing speed in conjunction with low price accelerates the fracture of the device. Computer simulation can reduce the period of development and enhance impact characteristic of device. In this study, the detailed finite element model of CD-RW drive was developed to predict the damage under drop conditions. Material property for shock absorbing damper was obtained from tensile test of raw material. A MOONEY-RIVLIN type robber in LS-DYNA was used as the material model of damper. To assess the reliability of the developed model, drop test at 200G-2msec and 150G-10msec condition was conducted and acceleration at pick-up was compared.

BSR 소음은 특히 자동차에서 도로 표면과 엔진 및 차량내부 스피커등의 진동에 의해 발생한다. 이러한 현상은 진동하는 시스템의 약화된 체결부나 접촉부에서 공진모드와 가진력의 중첩으로 인해서 발생하는 불규칙한 타격이나 스틱슬립(stick-slip)으로 발생한다. 이와 같인 국부적인 현상을 관찰하기 위해서 모든 BSR 발생 부위를 상세 유한요소 모델로 만드는 과정은 현실적으로 불가능 하므로 부분구조모델 (Sub-sturcture) 해석 기술이 필요하다. 이번 연구에서는 부분구조 모델 (sub-structure) 해석 기술을 적용하여 실제 가진력이 구조물을 통해 전달되어 발생하는 래틀(rattle)과 스퀵(Squeak)을 검출하고 분석하는 해석적인 방법을 정리하였다. BSR noise emerges in a vehicle as a result of road vibrations, engine vibrations, and speaker vibrations. BSR noise occurs with an irregular impact or stick slip friction phenomenon as the influence of the resonance mode when the vibration input load is transferred along poor joint and contacting pairs of the system. A sub-structure method of finite element analysis is required to detect impacts and slip in the full vehicle model. This study presents a method for substructure modeling and a rattle and squeak detection methodology that considers the characteristics of road vibration inputs.
보일러 설치 및 배관작업 근로자에 발생한 석면폐증을 동반한 흉막 악성 중피종 1례

Diffuse mesotheliomas of the pleura and peritoneum are considered "signal tumors" of asbestos exposure. Although asbestos use in Korea started before the national liberation, it rose abruptly with economic development in 1970's. Considering latent period of mesotheliomas as twenty years, occupational mesothelioma cases would increase rapidly. In Korea construction is a major industry which use asbestos. Because workers in construction industry are mostly composed of daily based workers, it is hard to calculate the number of workers involving asbestos related work, to manage them with organized method, to educate them about adverse effects of asbestos and protection methods, to check health status of them periodically, and to follow them up. Although a case of occupational mesothelioma which was found in a asbestos textile worker have been reported, no case related with construction workers have been reported so far in Korea. The authors experienced occupational malignant pleural mesothelioma combined with asbestosis in a boilermaker and plumber in a construction industry.
