We report high-performance organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) fabricated with thermally-crosslinked bottlebrush polymers as gate dielectrics. By utilizing bottlebrush polymers with varying degree of polymerization prepared by living anionic polymerization and ring opening metathesis polymerization, we investigated the effect of density of alkyne groups per repeat unit of the polymers on on-set crosslinking time (t<sub>c</sub>). Interestingly, the bottlebrush polymer having the higher density of alkyne groups showed reduced t<sub>c</sub> and solvent resistance. Considering that the bottlebrush co-polymer with moderate density of alkyne groups showed sufficiently low t<sub>c</sub> (<1 min), enhanced charge carrier mobility, and elongated device lifetime, these results demonstrate that bottlebrush polymers with tailored density of grafted alkyne functionalities would be promising dielectric materials for the development of high-performance flexible OFETs fabricated by high-throughput fabrication manner.
폴리실라잔 고체 전해질 층과 은 활성 전극의 공정이멤리스터의 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향

Effect of the processes of polysilazane solid electrolyte layer and silver (Ag) active electrode on the electricalcharacteristics of memristor was investigated. The memristor with the solid electrolyte annealed at highertemperature exhibited the higher set voltage and better memory retention characteristics than that annealed atlower temperature. The increase in the set voltage and the improvement of the memory retention characteristic athigh annealing temperature were attributed to a reduction in the void density and an increase in the voiduniformity inside the solid electrolyte, respectively. In the case where the polysilazane solution’s concentration ishigh, the memristor exhibited rapid degradation of low resistive state even annealed at high temperature. Lastly,it was shown that the memristor with the solution-processed Ag active electrode showed WORM property unlikethat with the vacuum-processed Ag active electrode. The WORM property was possibly due to morphologicaldefects present in the solution-processed Ag active electrode. 폴리실라잔 고체 전해질 층과 은(Ag) 활성 전극의 공정이 멤리스터의 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 더 높은 온도에서어닐링된 고체 전해질을 갖는 멤리스터가 더 낮은 온도에서 어닐링된 고체 전해질을 갖는 소자보다 더 높은 set voltage 및 더 나은메모리 유지 특성을 보였다. 어닐링 온도 증가에 따른 set voltage의 증가 및 메모리 유지 특성의 향상은 각각 고체 전해질 층 내부의 빈 공간의 감소 및 균일도 증가 때문인 것으로 사료된다. 고체 전해질 층을 비교적 높은 온도에서 어닐링 할지라도, 폴리실라잔용액의 농도가 지나치게 높은 경우에는 멤리스터의 저저항상태가 유지되지 못했다. 마지막으로, 용액공정으로 형성한 Ag 활성 전극을 갖는 멤리스터는 진공공정으로 형성한 Ag 활성 전극을 갖는 소자와 달리 WORM 특성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 WROM특성은 용액공정 Ag 활성 전극에 존재하는 형태적 결함 때문인 것으로 사료된다.

Objectives: This study investigated psychosocial factors that influence nurse’s intention to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. We focused on factors including COVID-19 knowledge, attitudes and beliefs related to COVID-19 vaccines, social contexts, and demographics. Methods: Data were collected from 200 nurses at five hospitals in Daegu between 12 April and 19 June 2021. We assessed COVID-19 knowledge, perceived susceptibility, severity, benefits, barriers, safety concerns, COVID-19 exposure, demographics, and the intention to get COVID-19 vaccines. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and hierarchial multiple regression. Results: Of 200 participants, 180 (90.0%) reported an intention to obtain a vaccination against COVID-19. Among four health beliefs towards COVID-19 vaccines, perceived severity was the highest. Perceived benefits (r = 0.42, p< 0.001) were positively associated with vaccination intention, while perceived barriers (r = -0.32, p< 0.001) and safety concerns (r = -0.20, p< 0.001) negatively influenced vaccination intention. There were differences in the scores for vaccination intention according to hospital grade and work department. According to the regression analysis, perceived benefits and barriers were discovered to account for 21% of the variance in vaccination intention. Conclusions: This study offers a timely overview of psychosocial factors that are related to nurses’ intention to get vaccinated for COVID-19. The vaccines’ benefits need to be highlighted in campaigns and educations, and it is imperative to remain transparent and truthful in communications about the vaccine safety.
문화예술 분야에서 욜로(YOLO)의 활용 및 확산 - 신문기사 텍스트 네트워크 분석(Text network analysis)을 통한 매핑(Mapping) 사례연구

Prior research suggests that media discourse affects the behavior and outcomes of relevant actors. In particular, media discourse analysis using text network analysis has been increasingly used to capture the structural properties of emergent and contentious social issues across various fields by many social scientists. In this dissertation, we present one specific cases in which the media discourse analysis using text network analysis is deployed in an attempt to better understand the structural properties of emergent and contentious issues in the field of arts and culture. Using the rise of YOLO (You Only Live Once) among the youth in Korea, this studies presented in this dissertation seek to depict the topography of media discourse pertaining to those two instances. We analyze key words—those words that frequently appear—used in 291 Korean daily newspaper articles from Jan to Oct in 2017 and examine how certain key words that reflect the essence of the YOLO life style—what we call “authentic” key words— are connected to other types of keywords so as to better make sense of how media discourses about YOLO are constituted.
신문 기사 담론 토픽 모델링분석을 통한 “방탄소년단”의 성공 요인에 대한 탐색적 연구

In recent times, BTS, a K-Pop boy band formed in 2013 has attracted unprecedented attention across the globe. In this article, we explore how and why BTS achieved its global success using the topic modeling method, a large-scale text-data analysis technique that has been increasingly used across the social science disciplines. Using “Topicmodels,” an R-package for topic modeling, we analyzed 7,776 keywords included in 20,791 news reports issued by Korean national daily newspapers and broadcast by national TV networks from 2013 until October 2018. Focusing on the 30 topics that are most frequently mentioned in the news reports, we show how external evaluations of BTS and its success have evolved and shifted over the last four years: while early news reports about BTS were focused on its unique marketing strategies and the role of ARMY (the flagship BTS fan club) behind its successful performances, its market, and its economic impact, news reports in more recent years have begun to pay more attention to the symbolic messages embedded in BTS’s lyrics and performances, and its cross-border appeal to young audiences around the world.
