본 실험은 생미강을 부존 사료 자원으로 사용하기 위한 사료적 가치 평가와 육계의 생산성에 미치는 영향을 구명함과 동시에 TAAA와 TMEn을 이용한 사료배합의 필요성을 검증하기 위하여 실시하였다. 실험 1에서는 종계 수탉을 공시하여 생미강을 강제 급여함으로서 TME, TMEn 그리고 TAAA를 측정하였고, 실험 2에서는 대조구, 생미강(5, 10, 15%) 첨가구의 4개 처리구에 처리당 3반복 반복당 6수로 완전 임의 배치하여 사양실험을 실시하였다. 생미강의 TME와 TMEn은 건물기준으로 각각 3.25 kcal/g와 3.12 kcal/g이었고, 16개 아미노산의 평균 생체 이용율(TAAA)은 76.21% 이었다. 3주령부터 6주령까지 실시한 사양실험에서 생미강 첨가구에서 사료섭취량이 다소 증가하는 경향을 나타내었지만, 유의한 차이는 인정되지 않았다. 증체량과 사료요구율에 있어서도 생미강 첨가구에서 다소 높은 경향을 보였으나 유의한 차이는 인정되지 않았다. 본 실험 결과 TMEn과 TAAA를 기초로 사료를 배합할 경우 부존원료의 이용에 의한 성장성적의 저하를 막을 수 있었고, 생미강을 15%까지 첨가하여도 아무런 부정적인 영향 없이 사료를 배합할 수 있어 부존 사료 자원으로 이용할 수 있음이 입증되었다. Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the nutritional values of rice bran and to examine effects of its dietary supplementation on broiler performances. In the first experiment, true metabolizable energy(TME), nitrogen corrected true metabolizable energy(TMEn), and true amino acid availability(TAAA) values of the rice bran were determined by force-feeding sixteen roosters(ISA-Brown). In the second experiment, 3-week-old male broiler chickens(Avian) were divided into four groups and fed each one of four experimental diets containing 0, 5, 10 or 15% rice bran for 21 days. TME and TMEn values of the rice bran(dry matter basis) were 3.25 kcal/g and 3.12 kcal/g, respectively, and the average TAAA value of the 16 amino acids was 76.21%. The average feed intake and body weight gain of the birds fed diets containing rice bran were apparently greater than those of the control group although the differences were not significant statistically. From the results, it can be concluded that feed formulation using bioavailability values, such as TMEn and TAAA, is an effective method for protecting the high variation in growth performances and that rice bran can be used for broiler feeds to 15% without any significant negative effects.

As multimedia information increases sharply, In image retrieval field the method that can analyze image data quickly and exactly is required. In the case of image data, because each data includes a lot of informations, between accuracy and speed of retrieval become trade-off. To solve these problem, feature vector extracting process that use Genetic Algorithm for implementing prompt and correct image clustering system in case of retrieval of mass image data is proposed. After extracting color and texture features, the representative feature vector among these features is extracted by using Genetic Algorithm.

Demand forecasting for railroad traffic is fairly important to establish future policy and plan. The future demand of railroad traffic can be predicted by analyzing the demand of air, marine and bus traffic which influence the demand of railroad traffic. In this study, forecasting the demand of railroad traffic is implemented through neural network using the demand of air, marine and bus traffic. Estimate accuracy of the demand of railroad traffic was shown about 84% through neural net model proposed.

A high performance liquid chromatography using photoreduction fluorescence detection was described for the analysis of saikosaponins. Saikosaponins were separated on an NH2 column using acetonitrile and aqueous 2-tert-butylanthraquinone(t-BAQ) as mobile phase. Column effluent was passed through a 40cm PTFE capillary tube coiled around a 10W UV lamp to reduce t-BAQ to a highly fluorescent dihydroxyanthracene derivative which was detected by a fluorescence detector. The optimal concentration of t-BAQ was found to be 6X10-5M and the optimal reaction time to be 2 seconds. The detection limit for saikosaponin a and d by this method was found to be about 280ng and 80ng. The dynamic linear range was over two orders and the correlation coefficient of the calibration curve of them was 0.998.

본 연구에서는 쓰시마시의 아리랑 축제를 사례로, 쓰시마시는 어떠한 과정을 거쳐 아리랑 축제를 한국인을 겨냥한 장소마케팅의 수단으로 이용해 왔는지, 아리랑 축제의 역사를 통한 민과 관의 활동에 착안하여 고찰하였다. 쓰시마시는 기존의 축제에 조선통신사 행렬과 아리랑 축제의 타이틀을 추가함으로써, 한국인 관광객을 유치하려고 노력하여 왔으나, 독도문제 등으로 인한 일부 주민들의 항의에 부딪혔다. 이에 시는 협의회를 거쳐, 지역 활성화를 위해 축제를 중지할 필요는 없지만, 2007년부터는 아리랑 축제를 서브타이틀로 사용할 것에 합의하였다. 이처럼 지역주민들은 때로는 아리랑 축제의 개최를 둘러싸고 관과 첨예하게 의견대립을 보이는 경우도 있었지만, 한편으로 그들은 축제의 운영에서 프로그램의 공연에 이르기까지 적극적으로 참가하고 있어, 쓰시마시의 아리랑 축제는 지역주민의 아이덴티티에 기초한 그들의 축제이면서 동시에 장소마케팅의 수단으로 이용되고 있음을 알 수 있고, 그 과정은 민과 관이 함께 만들어가는 지역 만들기의 과정이라고 할 수 있다. This paper examines how Tsushima has used the Arirang festival as a place marketing apparently targeting at Korean tourists, which has been historically achieved at the Arirang festival though public-private activities. Tsushima has tried to advertise Tsushima city to Korean tourists, with methods including the ‘Chosen Agency Parade’ and the title of the Arirang festival, but due to the Dokdo problem, the people of Tsushima objected to holding the Arirang festival. Therefore, Tsushima city had a meeting to solve it, and it was agreed that they need not stop the festival nor change of the title of the Arirang festival for the regional development, but instead they decided that the title of Arirang festival is to be used as a subtitle from 2007. By deciding this, The residents of Tsushima are sometimes against the opinion of Tsushima government, but they have eagerly participated in everything from the operation of the festival to the performances themselves. In this sense, it is thought that the Arirang festival is utilized as a local identity and also a place marketing, and the process for the regional development strategy is organized by public-private actors together.

The antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) is one of the most rapidly growing next generation antibody therapies used in oncology, autoimmunity and chronic inflammatory diseases. ADC is consisted of monoclonal antibody conjugated via chemical linker with highly cytotoxic small molecules, called payloads. Due to the rising prevalence of cancer and population aging, there is a consistent unmet needs on novel therapeutics for patients where the traditional antibody therapy does not work. With the successful market settlement of FDA-approved Adcetris?? and Kadcyla??, global pharmaceutical companies have put their resources for development of this innovative drug class. There are still some drawbacks in this class of drug including linker stability and heterogenous drug antibody ratio (DAR) profile. However new platform technologies are making progress to overcome these problems and further investment will drive growth in the next generation antibody therapies market. In this manuscript, we review the market drivers and restraints and introduce four approved ADCs. We then mainly discuss the important aspects considered while developing ADCs (cytotoxic drug, linker, DAR) and ADC platforms widely used in the industries.
생리학 기반 약물동태(PBPK, Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic) 모델링을 이용한 소아 약물 동태 예측 연구

In recent years, physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling has been widely used in pharmaceutical industries as well as regulatory health authorities for drug discovery and development. Several application areas of PBPK have been introduced so far including drug-drug interaction prediction, transporter-mediated interaction prediction, and pediatric PK prediction. The purpose of this review is to introduce PBPK and illustrates one of its application areas, particularly pediatric PK prediction by utilizing existing adult PK data and in vitro data. The evaluation of the initial PBPK for adult was done by comparing with experimental PK profiles and the scaling from adult to pediatric was conducted using age-related changes in size such as tissue compartments, and protein binding etc. Sotalol and lorazepam were selected in this review as model drugs for this purpose and were re-evaluated using the PBPK models by GastroPlus??. The challenges and strategies of PBPK models using adult PK data as well as appropriate in vitro assay data for extrapolating pediatric PK at various ages were also discussed in this paper.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of fermentation on biological activity of Chelidonium majus var asiaticum and to screen effective starter culture strains. Antibacterial activity against to Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella gallinarum and antioxidant activity as free radical scavenging activity by using DPPH were tested. Total six starter culture strains, two of Lactobacillus brevis, one of Lactobacillus plantarum and three of Saccharomyces cerevisiae were used. Plant extract was prepared after fermentation by using ethanol. All strains showed normal growth in viable cell counts of fermented cultures and L. plantarum showed the highest cell growth significantly (p<0.05). In antibacterial activities of extracts, the activity was found only in the extract from the fermentation using L. plantarum. In antioxidant activity, the highest activity was shown in the fermentation using L. plantarum significantly (P<0.05). Newly produced spots in two of three elution systems on TLC-DPPH test were detected in the fermentation using L. plantarum.
