『소학』의 도덕교육적 의미: 가치 전수와 도덕적 자율성의 문제를 중심으로

현대 도덕교육의 주된 물음 중 하나는 어떻게 아동의 정체성 형성에 핵심적 요소인 도덕적 가치를 가르치면서도 도덕적 자율성의 측면을 말살하지 않을까의 문제이다. 본 연구는 최근의 공동체적 도덕교육에 적합한 자율성을 "내면화한 도덕 가치의 자기화 과정"이라는 선행연구의 정의를 이용하여, 가치의 습득과 자율성의 육성이라는 두 측면에서 『소학』을 분석했다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면 『소학』은 `가치의 전수`와 `전수한 가치의 자기화`라는 두 측면을 포함하고 있다. 연구자는 이를 주로 내편과 외편의 관계를 통해 분석하였다. 내편의 학습을 통해 학습자들은 배타적 욕망을 극복하고 좋은 삶의 형식에 익숙해진다. 이에 기초하여 외편의 학습은 학습자 자신의 삶의 문제를 도덕적 안목에서 평가하고 실천하기를 기대하는 것이다. 이러한 과정에서 학습자들의 본성은 활성화된다. 『소학』의 도덕교육은 학습자들을 사회적 가치에 익숙해지도록 만드는 것에 머물지 않고 본성을 자각하고 키우는 것으로 발달해야 한다는 점을 보여준다. 『소학』은 일상적인 삶의 형식을 실천함으로써 가치를 습득하고, 도덕적 삶의 현대적 모델을 참고하여 자신의 실천을 성찰하도록 이끈다. 이러한 측면은 이성적 발달이 아직 충분하게 발달하지 않은 단계의 아이들에게 도덕의 기초를 놓는 과정으로서 유의미한 것이라고 생각한다. 『소학』의 도덕교육적 구상과 그 의미를 인정하더라도 현대의 소학교육을 구성할 떄에는 현대적 삶의 구조를 반영하고 개개인의 특성을 무시하지 않는 규범들을 제시해야한다는 점이 지적될 수 있다. This paper investigated the significance of Xiao Xue in the moral educational perspective in terms of transmitting value and building the moral autonomy. This paper adopted the definition of `moral autonomy` which explained `autonomy` as `the process for possessing of internalized value`. This research concluded that Xiao Xue includes two aspects of moral education; acquisition of values and making them one`s own. The researcher tries to explain it by relating internal part of Xiao Xue with the outer part of Xiao Xue. The students can overcome the exclusive desires and acquire the moral beliefs and values through the study of the internal part. During the study of outer part students can practice the acquired values properly in the everyday life. In this process the innate good nature can be vitalized. Xiao Xue leads students to not only habitual practice but also deep understanding of moral values by practicing the ritual propriety, comparing one`s practice with the contemporary good model, and reflecting one`s experience. It would be a sane process as the laying the moral foundation for children whose intelligence is not fully developed yet. It should be said that concrete moral norms have to reflect the modern social structure and accept the sanity of the individuality when we refer to Xiao Xue, even though we can admit the significance of the ritual propriety.

Objectives: This study aims to identify the influencing factors of using postnatal care among illiteracy women who live in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Methods: Household survey was done from February 1 to 8, 2013 in the Kwango district of Democratic Republic of Congo, and 400 childbearing women who has under 5 years old children and pregnant women was randomly selected and answered through the interview with a questionnaire. For analysis the data, χ² test and logistic regression analysis were used. Results: Woman who can read, write and mathematical calculation was 195 (47.4%) of total 411 answers and 161 (39.2%) used postnatal care for their latest pregnancy. Age at first marriage (χ²=18.481, p<.001), religions (χ²=11.165, p=.011), languages (χ²=35.586, p<.001), the experience of children death (χ²=16.507, p<.001), antenatal care over 4 times (χ²=15.315, p<.001), postnatal care (χ²=15.558, p<.001) is significantly different from literacy level. Among illiterate women group, who are protestant (OR=.330), using Lingala (OR=.128), took elementary education (OR=.223) and farmer (OR=.040), used less postnatal care. Conclusions: For increasing usage of postnatal care among illiterate women, new approach method should be considered such as a visual communication method and a community health workers’ training program for giving an outreach service to pregnant women care.

This study was conducted to get the significant implications for the accreditation of engineering education in Korea from the case of Japan. We researched the terminology of ‘accreditation’, the outline, the current progress, and argument over the accreditation of engineering education in Japan. We suggested the seven implications for ABEEK. First, ABEEK has to use the engineering societies more in assessing the programs. Second, ABEEK should be flexible to meet the original goals. Third, ABEEK can use the observer system to train the examiners. Fourth, ABEEK needs to provide the real benefits to the students and accredited programs to encourage them to finish the accredited course. Fifth, the programs need to organize the committes in the direction that every faculty member can share the assessment results and execute the real course improvement. Sixth, ABEEK should permit the programs to use the curricular courses to check the achievement of program outcomes. And seventh, ABEEK needs to have meta-evaluation to exercise the reasonable authority.

Objectives: The purpose of study was to evaluate the effects of maternal and child health capacity building training programme for health workers on knowledge, attitude, practice, and confidence in Kwango, Democratic Republic of Congo. Methods: Total participants were 369 health workers on 6 topics. 6 topics of maternal and child health care training sessions were conducted to evaluate the changes in knowledge, attitude, practice, and confidence of health workers through the questionnaires in pre-and post- training. Analysis were used in paired t-test, independent t-test and ANOVA by SPSS 24.0. Results: Knowledge, attitude, practice, and confidence were significantly different between pre-and post-training of health workers. In all training, knowledge, attitudes, practice and confidence score were increased. According to the position, there were the positive change of score in pre-and post-training from A2 nurses in essential newborn care, medical doctors in management of medicine and A3 nurses in emergency obstetric and neonatal care. Conclusions: To provide the improved maternal and child healthcare service and raise the level of maternal and child health in developing countries, the capacity building of health workers should be supported and continued.

This study investigates the meaning, the method of Cultivation of the fundamental as aim of child education in context of the Xing-Li-Xue(性理學) educational theory. Chu-hsi understood the meaning of Cultivation of the fundamental as Ching(敬, the cultivation of good nature in human mind). The method of Cultivation of the fundamental consists of quiet sitting(정좌), attention(주의집중), moral environment(도덕적 환경) and practicing propriety(예의 실습). Through quiet sitting and attention, learners may reach a condition of mind which is free of their selfish desires and in which they can find out their original nature. The education in Confucianism accepts the environment as a significant element in forming human personality. Making moral environment has leaners to take good value with ease. Characteristic of study in Xing-Li-Xue is to emphasize to observe concrete clauses of propriety. The reason why Xing-Li-Xue emphasizes propriety is that Mind Study may be maintained through Body Study. In conclusion, the Cultivation of the fundamental in the Xing-Li-Xue is to form the power to regulate selfish desires and thus behave more moderately. Along these points, not only quiet sitting which relexes the body and soul, but also song and dance are not considered as contrary to Xing-Li-Xue educational theory. The various ways of Cultivation of the fundamental of Xing-Li-Xue educational theory make people recognize, understand and experience good innate nature of human beings. And we can reach the conclusion that education of Xing-Li-Xue uses so many methods that learner can accept moral value as naturally as possible.
