        경계요소법에 의한 아크균열의 응력확대계수 해석

        In this paper, A circular arc crackered plate in biaxially stretched sheets was investigated in the boundary element method. The applications of fracture mechanics have traditionally concentrated on crack problems under an mode I, straight crack. However, many service failures occur from growth of cracks subjected to mixed mode Loadings. A rectangular plate with arc crack or slanted central crack, under biaxial tensile loading, was treated analytically and also solved numerically. The Results from BEM applying different loading conditions, crack length (a/W), arc angle(α) are presented and discussed The stress intensity factors are evaluated by the techniques of the J-integral. The decomposition method, used to decouple the stress intensity factors in mixed mode problems, is implemented by a considering a small circular contour path around each crack tip. The BIE method was successfully applied to a circular arc crackerd plate problem, also slanted centre cracked plate under mixed mode.

        In case of fire on the elderly care facilities, physical/mental disadvantages of the elder fatally cause that they have serious difficulty in escaping by their own efforts, since most of the wards are mobility impaired, severely disabled or mental patients. Without considering the residents' condition, a fire can produce terrible loss of lives. Therefore, a fire in nursing facilities should be aggressively prevented, and the fire extinguishing facilities must be completely equipped. The smoke ventilator is an instrument for emitting smoke from the inside. In this study, the direction of ventilator installation is found as the main factor influencing on its functionality, despite the ventilating window has the same area. In other words, vertically installed ventilator has higher efficiency than horizontal one. The external factors such as draught, structure and height of the room or presence of back pressure can also effect on the smoke emission, but the study reveals the lengthwise window has the remarkable capability on emitting smoke.

        일반배관용 스테인리스강관에 대한 프레스식 관이음쇠의 내진성능에 관한 연구

        The seismic performance of press fittings is studied, which is one of the weldless joints of stainless steel pipe used in thewater piping of recent fire protection system. The piping of this study was constructed based on the piping connectionreference of NFPA 13. The permissible displacement of the piping was set as the allowed amount which is given in theBuilding Structure Standard, and the measurements were repeated 10 times. The Von-mises stress of the piping was 2.48 and1.25 times of the allowed amount of stress, which was less than the standard, noted three times on the NPPs Allowable Stressfor Level D service loading. Therefore, the press fittings shows enough seismic performance. 본 연구는 최근 수계소화설비 배관에 적용되고 있는 스테인리스 강관용 프레스식 관이음쇠에 대한 내진성능 연구를 수행한다. 연구를 위한 설비의 구성은 NFPA 13의 배관연결방법으로 하였다. 배관의 허용변위량은 건축구조기준에서 제시한 허용량으로 하였고, 반복회수는 10회로 하였다. 실험 후 배관의 Von-mises 응력은 허용응력의 2.48, 1.25배로 NPPs Allowable Stress for Level D service loading의 “허용응력의 3배”인 기준 보다는 적게 나타났다. 따라서 프레스식 관이음쇠는 내진성능을 갖추고 있는 것으로 판단 할 수 있다.

      • 광탄성기법을 이용한 내부 원공에서 파생되는 대칭형 균열의 응력확대계수 결정에 관한 연구

        Photoelastic Method is used to determine the Stress Intensity Factors (S. 1. F) of cracks emanating from a circular hole in finite width subject to uniaxial tension. Various met-hods for the determination of stress intensity factors from photoelastic data obtained from models containing narrow slot, are compared by reference to the case of a wide plate with a central cracks. In this study. Stress Intensity Factors (S.I.F;K) are determined experimentally by app-lying Schroedl Smith Method to the relationship between isochromatic fringe order and Stress Intensity Factor. Five types of Epoxy resin plate or bonded bi-material plate (Epoxy and Acrylate, Epoxy and Bakelite) are used for the specimen. The crack emanating from the circular hole (at boned bi-material interface) are investigated and that experim-ental results are compared with Kitagawa &Yuuki results for cracks emanating from a circular hole in the plate of identical property. As analyzing film with Epoxy resin plate, experimental results of S.I.F(K) and Correction Factor F, are Summarized as follows. In the case of bonded (or not bonded) Epoxy resin plate, experimental results have a good agreement with theoretical ones. In the case of bonded Epoxy and Acrylate Plate, the Correction Factor F is larger than ones in the case of bonded Epoxy and Bakelite Plate.

      • 다층구조 판매시설의 화재시 연기 확산 및 제어에 관한 사례연구

        Normally, it gives a huge damage on human and physical resource when a sale facility is on fire, because its fire load is heavy, and fire spreading speed is quite fast, especially when every effort to extinguish it on early stage fails. We would easily find out dangerous con-ditions in the typical shopping malls which have various goods quick to catch fire are on display, even set up highly closed to the ceiling blocking the sight. It would make fire spread easily. Besides, complex of lighting installations, lots of decorations, and HVAC and esca-lators are also built in the building. These are directly related with the cause of a fire, or the critical reason makes the disaster far worse. In case of residents they also need to be considered as parents carrying baby or the old and the infirm. So longer egress time is needed, consequently. A chaos is created when everyone attempts to escape all at once. Although it is need to be put forth a multilateral effort into developing fire safety level on shopping mall, the most important part is smoke control – [to get enough time to escape.] On this research paper, the methods are suggested by the diffusion of Smoke and con-trol, venting smoke capacity, applying the result from fire simulation program.?A specific character is regarded in sampling phase. In conclusion, this study shows that remarkable delay holding smoke diffuses onto ceiling could be effected by fire limits, etc. CFAST (ver-sion 6.0) is used for smoke movement analysis.

      • 다층구조 판매시설의 피난안전해석에 관한 사례연구

        When sales facility is on fire, safe evacuation of occupants is significantly important factor. Utilizing fire-prevention system and air-conditioning equipments, we studied for better ways which enhance safety of escape in sales facility without smoke control system, using evacuation simulation program. We found that the number of occupants is needed to be considered in calculating capability of emergency stairs. Also, the damage of human life is increased in escape situation because bottleneck phenomenon happens on entrance of evacuation route. As a result, more aggressive plan/design is required on common escape route which is used by occupants in multiple floors. Early detection and early warning system are more critical factors on fire situation, than structure of building to guarantee safety for occupants evacuation. To manage risks caused by smoke dispersion toward upper levels, external smoke emission is prerequisite, but holding back only interior diffusion showed limited effects. Even in some case, it increased risk of specific floor.

        The new ambulance for critical patient system that was introduced, in order to increase the recovery of the critical patient, shows a leap in “Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Service System". In 2007, the National Emergency Management Agency put the advancement in medical care into action and actualized the critical patient system', there-fore leading to introduce foreign ambulances. The first placing of this was in 2009 at Seoul where there were 139 ambulances, 12 in Gyeongsangbuk-do, and is being utilized in emergency situations. Despite the great impact, in reality there are several problems in management that needs to be improved. In current research, the problems in management of this system must be confronted with an effective improvement method, therefore, pub-licizing the emergency medical treatment system with effect. Through this, I wish to establish this concrete measure of medical treatment.

      • 경계요소법을 이용한 J-적분의 수행을 통한 응력확대계수 결정에 관한 연구

        The boundary element method is applied to perform a stresses, displacements, strain energy density, etc at boundary and internal points and the stress intensity factors are compu-ted through the integral. The J-integral is the most efficient thechnique used in the dual boundary element method to solve general crack problems. This method is implemented automatically by considering a small circular contour path around each crack tip. The integration along this path relies upon the values of the elastic field at a set of internal points. Since the exact variation of the interior elastic field is built into the fundamental solution of the boundary element method, the combination of these techniques is now widely regrded as the most accurate numerical tool for the analysis of crack problems in linear elastic fracture mechanics. In this study, The boundary element method is used to determine the Stress Intensity Factors of cracks emanating from a circular hole at finite width plate subject to unixial tension. The results are compared with kitagawa &Yuuki and J.C. Newman results for cracks emanating from a circular hole in the finite plate. The results of S. L F (K) and Correction Factor F, arc Summarized as ſallow. 1) The numerical solution provides accurate results for the stress intensity factor as well as exact solution. 2) The results obtained from the above element with only a few boundary clements are quite accurate. Therefore, it seems to be demonstrated that stress intensity factors may be determined efficiently for nonlinear cracks in complicated structures. 3) The Correction Factor F is influenced by the ratio "2R/W"

      • 분기배관(소화설비)의 등가길이에 따른 손실계수에 관한 연구

        This study is performed for calculation of loss coefficient complied with equiva-lent length for TBP(T-Branched Pipe). Pressure loss is tested by KFI Standard of TBP. Using the results, we known the two facts. First, equivalent length and loss coefficient is very similar at 4.5 m/s. Second, loss coefficient where the branched pipe will become larger at the run pipe comes to be few.
