The disintegration characteristics of a liquid jet in crossflow were experimentally investigated by using shadowgraphy technique coupled with a high-speed camera and a continuous laser light. Four types of nozzles were tested with the ratio(q) of the crossflow velocity and the liquid volume flowrate, liquid viscosity in terms of breakup mode, spray trajectory, breakup points. As the viscosity of liquid increased, the penetration height and distance increased, but atomization performance became worse. The circular-shaped and the film-shaped nozzles showed the highest and the lowest jet trajectory height, respectively. The q value had a great impact on the jet trajectory height, and viscosity of injected liquid showed a minor effect.

The price of the high efficiency computer is getting cheaper and the performance is considerably improved in relative. This phenomenon expedites a information-oriented society through accelerating the demands of the high-efficiency computers and it acts as the catalyst to become a society based on information. The main reason of the improvements of the high-efficiency computer's demand is a development of the clustering system techniques. There is an advantage which is that could implements the high-efficiency system with low expense, so, computers which have the clustering construction have spreads widely. The network file system perceives importantly for the highest performance of the cluster computers, uses all storage spaces of the cluster node's disks and minimize the access time. The NFS which is generally used in clustering system has problems in security and the efficiency is fallen behind when access to the data. Therefore, the necessity of a better file system emerges. In this paper, I'll make a research for an adequate file system for clustering system with a Linux through the performance comparison test of the NFS , coda file system and parallel virtual file system. They are based on the Ext3 file system that is a representative Linux file system.
