In recent years, There are many consumer needs and safety regulations for high performance vehicles. For this reason, Various stability assessments are being performed to meet the regulations for the suspension corner module impact tests. The objective of side Impact Test for the suspension corner module is to assess the vehicle stability caused by unstable driving conditions such as Kerb Strikes. Side Impact Test has been performed on the full vehicle condition so far. Recently, Some components and module manufacturers are making an effort to develop the proper impact test facility for suspension corner module. In this research, experimental assessments were carried out on the suspension corner module using newly designed and manufactured impact test facility through the benchmarking of the existing Impact test facility of automobile maker Adding to this, we modelled the impact test facility and suspension corner module using Finite Element Software to correlate analytical results with experimental to verify the reliability of analytical approaches.
